Rotten Product – This is the most annoying cheapie printer I have ever purchased. The setup instructions are confusing and the product quality is downright flimsy. After a couple of printing efforts it now will now not accept printing paper and simply sends a message saying the paper has jammed when in fact it is not putting the paper through the printer. Do not waste your money on an Epson printer. Avoid this one and its replacement at any cost.  Show details

prints well - scans take over 6 minutes per page in low quality – The install process is drawn out far longer than required for this kind of printer and I have had t go through it twice now in the first month of ownership. The printing is fine but the scanning is the slowest I've owned. Over 6 minutes to scan one page in low quality colour - would be quicker for me to drive to work 10 minutes away unlock the… Read more

shop scan there and then drive home then to scan 4 pages on this.

Tonight it has taken over an hour to scan 2 pages as I had to reinstall the scanner drivers then go through the motions of scanning. As a result I will not be buying Epson products for home or work office again. The second page being scanned has given me time to find this website and write a review and it's still not finished....

Worst Printer ever – This printer is slow, uses copious amounts of ink and finally after just over 12 months will not accept ANY cartridges, absolute load of garbage and I suspect the same goes for all Epson products. They used to be good stuff but now not worth a cold pie. Now nothing will work because it wont recognise cartridges the colour of the printer everything but especially Epson's online interference with the printer

Reliable and Economical! – We bought this printer over 1 year ago. The ink cartridges are cheap to replace about $17.99 for the black. It is a good entry level product. It is a bit slow at photocopying and scanning. But it does the job. You should regularly clean the nozzle so that it continues to print properly. The ink dries out if not in use for a while which is… Read more

the case with all non laser printers I believe. Overall, if you are considering buying a printer which is not a laser printer, I would recommend that you buy this printer due to the fact that it is economical and easy to use. Good and Economical. It is a bit slow at photocopying and scanning.

Average wireless printer/fax machine – The main reason I purchased this printer was because it connects wirelessly to a wireless enabled computer (it also connects via USB). I don't consider myself technologically challenged but had some difficulty setting up this printer initally to connect via wireless connection. The software provided with the printer needed updating when first… Read more

installed and initially the printer worked. However, I have had problems each time I attempt to use the printer wirelessly. I have unintalled then reinstalled the software as suggested in troubleshooting (have done this 3 times now)and firewall settings are adjusted, however this printer only works if I disconnect and reconnect my internet connection when trying to print!

This printer also has a fax feature and I have had no problems using this.

The software provided also has a photo restoration feature and I have restored a number of old photos and am very pleased with the results. The photos and pictures I have printed are bright and crisp and the software has several options for adjusting quality of whatever is being printed. Quality of the prints, photo restoration feature. Wireless connection and setup.

An ok printer for most home users, I regret not getting the 840 – It does everything it says on the box, print 2 sides, copy, fax and connects easily to network. The problems are it does not have copy send (email) feature like a regular office computer should. The auto feed copier only copies single sides as well which is a major downside as a lot of my documents are in duplex to save paper. Also the network… Read more

is on a "g" band which is not necessirily a bad thing but I was expecting "n" support.

Overall I wish I did my homework before purchasing this printer as I would have realised that the Worforce 840 was probably the way to go.. It is a standard multifunction networking printer, wasn't too expensive. No 2-sided copying, "g" network support and no copy to send (email) feature.

How did you get your 320 to be a network printer, everything i connect mine up it doesn't print?
