An almost perfect home printer – This printer took up very little room and printed hundreds of pages of high quality prints, each and every time. I had it for over 5 years and hardly had to touch it, other than to change ink, until it appeared to just stop working recently. I've tried to buy the same printer again, however it has been discontinued - perhaps because it did such a good job?

Two weeks out of warranty – This was a good printer until about 4 weeks ago when I got the error message 0xF3. I rang support this morning to ask what they could do for me as it is two weeks out of warranty. They said nothing. When it showed the error message earlier this month I wasn't aware it was about to go out of warranty so didn't worry about it till we got back from holidays. Pulled the receipt out this morning only to discover it was out of warranty by two weeks.

I thought that Epson would try to help me out seeing as it was only two weeks but they wouldn't.

Told me to take it to a repairer over an hour away. It would cost more to do this then to replace it.

Great Multifunction – This is so far the best multi-function I ever had, Bought it around 4 years ago and never missed a beat. I use it a lot for scanning and printing. I am using aftermarket ink cartilages which are a lot cheaper and last a long time. I cant comment on the print quality being par with the super sexy photo printers, but for all my purposes they perform quite well.

What a wonderful machine – I purchased this machine over 18 months ago to replace yet another failing Canon printer. I was willing to spend some serious cash to get a good multi-function printer and looked at so many other machine (no more Canon's for me). This printer had only just been released on the Oz market, but there were some good reviews about it overseas. My nephew, brother-in-law and I all bought one at the same time (the sales person was very happy with 3 sales). All three of us use this machine a lot on a daily basis and I am very impressed with it. Connecting it toy old PC was easy especially using the WiFi, the features are excellent and I seem to come across a new one every couple of weeks or so that I didn't know the machine had. To top it off this machine was cheap in comparison to all the others with similar features. The low price actually put us off because we thought it would be just another piece of junk - I am very glad to say we were wrong on that one. This machine has been fantastic and all three have worked extremely well. My only complaint is that when you print in draft mode, it is a bit hard to read. If you are looking for a multi-function, then definitely give this machine a go. I love mine and if something should happen to it, I would definitely buy another one without a second thought. Very reliable, inexpensive, heaps of features and just a great trouble free machine. Draft mode is a bit too poor in quality.

We've had this printer for probably more that 3 years and are very satisfied. Would recommend it.

Best printer I have ever had - I always had bought a CANON before but I was missing out! – Epson is on a total different league when it comes to printers. I was a Canon fanatic but I will never go back. This machine is so easy to use and it does everything exceptionally. Wireless setup was effortless as everything displayed on the little colour LCD took less than 3 minutes and I Was ready to go. Print Quality is superior to any printer I had before, and the individual inks are very cheap ($15) each which means only changing them when they run out.

Faxing and Scanning is also very simple with most steps and options laid out on the LCD so you know exactly what you are doing. My last Canon even though it had an LCD was so confusing took me ages to figure out how to fax.

You can scan wirelessly and upload the scanned image straight into your computer, and for photocopying you can either do a single page on the tray feeder or a book/folder on the glass feeder so the options are all there! Best multifunction machine I have ever had - Never going back to Canon again - or any other company for that matter Wireless scanning needs to be reconfigured sometimes as Win7 does not detect - Not sure what is causing it yet

It is actually not the printer's fault. It was the modem. It keeps changing the IP of the printer every 2 weeks or so. I contacted Netgear who showed me how to keep the same IP constantly (apparently most modems will change IP of devices connected at random). And problem fixed.
