Eurolab EL5001
5 reviews
Cheap first timer – New to the coffee at home, the eurolab is horrendous to clean due to the different grooves and the design. The milk spout is too low and doesn't offer customisation, the grinder is poorly designed and allows for grounds to be trapped after blocking the pipe spilling precious coffee which then needs to be cleaned up. There's no tamper provided and the portafilter is suboptimal. That being said the machine runs pretty reliably and all the fixings are there for a cup of coffee, it's pretty intuitive and I like how you can select the grind fineness. The milk steamer works reasonably well and the machine isn't too loud.

This is very disappointing – When grinding not all powder goes into powder container. Very messy. Funnel bracket with filter cup does not fit well into bottom of boiler unit. The steam unit for frothing the milk is an absolute waste of time. Not worth even using. Although this coffee machine is cheap it is not worth anything as it doesn't do the job. Not worth wasting your money.
Grinder messy. Coffee connection with boiler very bad. Milk steamer not even worth trying to use.
Pre-heat your cups with boiling water and then place the cup on the warmer deck once you pour the water out in prep to pour coffee in.
Terrible – Absolute rubbish. Never again will I purchase what seems to be a bargain online. Deals Direct not helpful at all. Looked good, The fact that although I purchased this for $99 I didn't really think it would only last four weeks! It was a gift and was left boxed for some five months but when Deals Direct were contacted they said "Out of warranty" go to the Eurolab website but alas I can't find one. Lesson learned -no more buying online.
OK – Looks good and simple to use.I think its a bit big and too lite for its size seems a bit too fregile and not strong in terms of quality. It looks good but cheap. It is liter than I thought if the water tank is not filled with water.Makes good milk froting. It has adjustable steam system.Built in grinder is good for the value.Nothing special.Average simple to use. When I received the machine the water tank was broken. I called the seller they sent me another one.The instruction CD and the manual is very poor.It doesn't come with milk froting cup.
my euro lab has a broken water tank where can i get another tank and an instruction manual any ideas would be helpful
Excellent – Really, this was purchased as a stand in whilst the office Gaggia went to hospital for repairs 3 months ago. This machine cost less than the Gaggia repair and guess what - the Gaggia has been left in a cupboard as this produces a far superior cup of coffee. I know the reviews are bad but for under $100 I would go and buy another one tomorrow if this blew up. Quick to make 1st cup, Magnificent crema, good size tank. A little on the large size, poor reviews. Grinder doesn't get fine enough but we use pre-ground anyway for the office.
