Customer service and delivery a disgrace – Ordered some products in the 13th December with the estimated delivery time of 5-15 business days, called customer service after the delivery dates to be told they don’t know where they are and don’t know when they would be delivered just wait! When I asked why they weren’t delivered I was hung up on and again when I called back. Very poor… Read more
customer service so far, after a bit a couple of items arrived but not all and the ones that did were left outside on their own with a txt sent saying they were delivered, on the 7th January still waiting for one of the products I called again to be told yet again that they didn’t know where it was and when it would be delivered so I canceled the order for that product as it was well after the due date so we got a similar item from super Amart (where we should have gone to start with) delivered the next day therefore wanted a refund for that product, got a email from customer service on the 11th saying they were waiting for the product to be returned before they processed the refund. Sent another email asking about it on the 14th with no reply, sent another email on the 19th to get a reply on the 21st January saying the refund was being processed and would take 7-10 business days. Thinking it was all sorted the product turns up on the doorstep on the 25th January (it was obviously rejected by us and sent back straight away) and a email saying your product has been delivered therefore want to cancel your refund. After trying to contact customer support and being told no one was there to help us we get another email saying it will take 7-10 business days for a refund (heard that before) So still waiting for a very unprofessional and very rude team of customer service people to refund our money after 45 days of A hair pulling experience. Still thinking it’s a scam I hope no one else has to go through what we did. Needless to say we will NEVER EVER shop with fantastic furniture again.
Terrible quality dont buy – I to have had exactly the same issue, with our 2.5 seater. I was told it was leather. I contacted the store 2 years ago and was told sorry its out of warranty. Poor quality, will not buy from them again! – Had the lounges 3 years and now all the "leather" is peeling in all different places. Contacted Fantastic Furniture and told this is "wear and tear" so they won't cover it. Upon further inspection, I now realise this is a common problem with this range. New Tribeca sofa – I am very happy with the customer service that I have received from Fantastic Furniture over the years. I am especially happy with my recently replaced Tribeca 3 Seater Sofa which arrived last weekend. I am so thankful as my previous Tribeca sofa was just out of warranty, but it was replaced with the new Tribeca sofa which is not bonded leather and so it is not subject to the peeling issue. large company care about customer feedback and take responsibility for the fault. I think of how I would have been dealt with elsewhere and know most companies would have dragged out the warranty process, probably would have pointed blame at me for the peeling! And rejected it due to not having a receipt and the "store" not keeping records back that far.

I have bought a lot of furniters at Fantastic Furniture and am pleased with all of them - this is the only bad, very bad, terrible product i have from them.

Peeling off cover – I have bought tivoli 2 and 3 seater sofas on 10/01/2015 from auburn store. I had purchased all my items same time including all house hold items. SCAMMED by Fantastic Furniture – ****Save yourself the hassle - do not buy from this company**** We bought a 3 seater lounge and a 2 seater lounge (and later an office chair) only to have them fall apart the same way as everyone else. Sold to us as "leather" but it wasn't - it was a very thin polyurethane (they even sold leather cleaner to complete the SCAM!). I even have the… Read more
original documentation and sales catalogue to prove it - they don't dare call it anything but PU or PVC now.
At first I didn't realise what had happened - the Moore Park store replaced it and said it was just a "bad batch". Guess what? It's happened again because it was NEVER leather to begin with. By phone they said it should have never been told it was a bad batch since there were all kinds of problems with these and the ACCC found against Fantastic (in other words all batches are bad!).
But as soon as I sent the photos they've suddenly said it's "Out of warranty"! Just like other reviews. Guess what? Scams don't go out of warranty - they were and are scams which need to be rectified. All I asked for was a replacement with something which is not this product.
Next stop the ACCC, Instagram and the administrative tribunal which I'm prepping papers for right now.

inside living area with no sun or pets in house and so disappointed The sofa sets were always used inside and we don't even have pets at home so disappointed to get this poor quality furniture after spending $2597.00 at fantastic Furniture store. I was advised its 3 years warranty during purchase but after contacting the store recent now been advised not under warranty to get this issue fixed and they don't stock it anymore. Such a scam by furniture store, I would not recommend any of my friends to buy furniture from these stores. Stay away from this scam.

don't even have pets at home so it was disappointing to see poor quality furniture. I thought that the warranty had expired, because I was told at the time of sale that it was for 3 years so did not check with Fantastic Furniture earlier. But when I visited the store again in June'19 , I was told that the warranty on bonded leather had been extended to 5 years due to complaints they had received on peeling issue. This was never communicated to me ( and possibly to other customers who had bought similar products and facing similar issue) else I would have approached Fantastic Furniture with warranty claim in 2018 itself. Now FF is claiming it is out of warranty ( and only by a month or 2) which wouldn't have been the case had FF informed about change in warranty terms and conditions earlier. Disappointed..
So no updates on above from Fantastic furniture so far...

couch covers so I don't have to look at them. You expect to have a leather couch that you look after and don't use much for a long time - hence why we bother to buy leather. I just feel ripped off because I was lied to by the shop assistant. And as I am not the first one reporting the hoax, the practice is obviously endorsed by management and has been going on for a loooong time.

Tivoli sofa and chaise as the leather had peeled away badly.
When the new sofa and chaise was delivered, we were told that Fantastic had been replacing these Tivoli sofas and chaise due to the peeling leather as this was a common fault.
We went back to the store and expressed our disappointment with not being told about the Tivoli issue, and were told that the sofas were now out of warranty, what a joke spent $1500 on 2 x sofas and only got 4 years out of them, and then like a fool went and bought new sofas from the company that sold me faulty sofas in the first place. Very disappointed esspecially when 90 % of the furniture in my house was bought from Fantastic Furniture Bennett’s Green.

Not once but twice! – Bought the Tribeca 2 seater and 3 seater set back in Dec 2011 and paid good money for it. In March 2015, the 3 seater started to peel everywhere. I'm now at a point where i need to vacuum my apartment constantly because bits of pleather get stuck to whoever sits on the sofa & then gets discarded around the place!! Very unhappy. The new Tribeca's started to peel again within two years, however I was no eligible (as these were replacements).
The replacements peeled a lot quicker, and so much more than the first set. Everytime someone sits, white snowflakes are on their pants and all over the floor.

Cushions peeling and fraying – Bought Tivoli sofa 3 seater in May 2015 to replace Kendal 3 seater bought in 2011 that perished in the same way. Seat cushions have peeled, split and now stuffing is coming through. Rest of sofa in good condition. It is used in a bedroom with average amount of use. We bought our modular in 2014. Very disappointed with this product as its peeling off from everywhere. This was occasionally used and looked after. I would have imagined this will last longer than this.

However we have a baby just starting to crawl so didn't want our bub to eat the peeled leather and decided to throw away based on the customer service's advice. must have been the way we treated the couch. This was disappointing as our house is immaculately clean and I have regularly cleaned and maintained the couches with the "leather" cleaner provided at the time of sale. The local store did kindly offer me a small deduction off buying a new lounge but this doesn't really compensate for the amount of money I lost buying a lounge that is such poor quality and needing to replace my lounge after just four years. Awful quality – Purchased a 3 seater Tribeca sofa in 2012 (markedly more expensive than other models at the time). Very sparingly used and up until a few months ago it was great. Then the leather started peeling and leaving flecks everywhere. The problem doesn't seem to be associated with wear and tear at all, and applying the recommended care products doesn't assist.
