One of the most valuable baby purchases – This has been a lifesaver for both my children. It is well made and sturdy.. and lovely and plush fabric which washes well. Adjustment is firm but won’t budge accidentally when baby is swinging. If feet ends aren’t on it will slide/walk across tiles slightly! Baby usually falls asleep very calmly and while at times, it doesn’t help depending on… Read more

mood etc, it’s still a lifesaver majority of times used. Can get up to 3 hours sleep during the day which won’t happen during the day anywhere else. I co sleep at night and my daughters struggle to sleep during the day without me but obviously not with this. Still using at 6 months and should be for a few more months.

Another plus... when my eldest daughter finished with it 7 years ago I cleaned it and packed into the roof. I took it out this year to use for baby number 2 and it was still in beautiful new condition and the energizer max D (takes 4) were still working. I got another 4 months use of them when it’s used at least once every 2-3 days and sometimes daily. Worth getting the good batteries! Definitely up there with top baby purchases.. necessary if money permits.

Should've bought this for our first baby – We bought this for our 3rd baby (1 month old), as it is getting too hectic for my wife to take care of the two kids (4 y.o and 2 y.o) and a newborn when her mother is not in Australia. It had a noticeable "grug...grug...grug" sound when the pivot mechanism swings. I was a bit afraid that this might irritate our baby. But to my amazement, the… Read more

baby sleeps like a log, the noise seems to work as background noise (our baby loves background noise). After breast feeding, we put the baby on the swing, put some soft music on from our wireless speaker, and like magic, the baby would sleep for hours. Before, baby needs to be constantly carried by the Grandma all day & night.

Now my wife have the time to do the house works and care the two older kids without having to carry/settle the baby. Now we can even have a peaceful family dinner together. Before, I have to carry a baby on one hand and eat with the other hand.

The swing mechanism seems to draw very little current from the battery, as it still rocks for another 3 weeks with low battery, while the in-built music player & rotating/mobile toys stops working.

When baby couldn't sleep, my wife can put him on the swing for 10-15 minutes to do her stuff, before she needs to carry him again. It works. Baby sleeps contently for 2 - 4 hours, 3 - 5 times per day. Seems to draw very little current from the battery. A happy wife. The noise on the swing mechanism is repetitive and can be annoying to adults, had to drown it with the soft music. The support legs moves slightly as the swing rocks left-right, doesn't stay fixed on the tile floor.

The best thing we bought! – This swing was a god sent. I really don't kno how we would have survived the first few months without it! My baby suffered from reflux and wouldn't sleep in the bassinet or cot as it was too flat and didn't help with his reflux. The cradle swing was upright enough (when in the laying position) to keep him propped up to keep his feeds down and the… Read more

swinging soothed him to sleep quickly. My baby slept in this for the first 10 weeks, day and night. The only cons I have are that it takes batteries and doesn't have a power source like many other swings. We went through a packet of D batteries each week. We would have spent over $150 in batteries for this swing! It also struggled with his weight once he reached 9 kgs. I don't think the weight limit is accurate at all listed at 11kgs. He also struggled to fit into the seat after 9kgs. The 2 seat positions, snug cradle, side to side front to back swing options, it's cute! Its big, only takes batteries, weight limit more like 9kgs not 11kgs as stated.

Great baby swing – This swing has been a life saver. My baby loved it. It is so handy to put baby in while I was cooking or cleaning. He would also have short naps in it when he was young. Batteries last for ages too. All of the material comes off to it can be washed

Lots of features – I love how many features this swing has. It plays white noise sounds and swings at different speeds. The swing can be positioned on the side or front on. It has a removable tray and overhead toys that spin. The legs are a bit wide if you only have a small space in the house but it is a good swing and very comfortable for baby and easy to wash covers and clean plastic parts with removable covers.

Good swing – This was a necessity for our newborn as we couldnt put her down anywhere without her crying or feeling like shes going to fall off. Great angle and plushness of seat, and sturdily built. Im disappointed to hear its been discontinued. This was much better than other brands that do similar swings (eg Ingenuity).

Necessary cheating – This is one of the best baby products we have, whenever our little one is unsettled, put her straight in here, rock her for 15-20 mins, and she's out like a lamp shade. Extremely happy with the purchase, even though it is second hand. Thanks. *Note, requires heavy duty batteries

Doesn't swing very much – Very slow to start, doesn't swing very far, makes a noise, , i bought secondhand only 6 mths old , previous owner stated the same thing when we questioned her after buying. Useless unless you manually push it . Other friend bought new one, stated the same thing, really bit stupid

Was definitely worth the money! – My son would only sleep in this some nights when he was first born. Was a lifesaver, sanity saver! First time mum and it helped me cope with the sleepless nights :-)

So Good You'll Want To Write A Thankyou Letter – This product is an absolute life/marriage saver. You will cry when it runs out of battery ( so always keep spares on hand! ). You will want to write a Thankyou letter to the manufacturer. Put my baby to sleep without fail. He loved the rotating toys above as a newborn and then the music as he got older. Foldable to take on holidays. Noisy but baby doesn't mind so you get used to it.

Made for newborns only – My daughter loved the bright stars swing we had for her it was a second hand one that broke so we purchased this and she doesnt like it at all. she likes to sit slightly forward so she can see everyone this product doesnt allow that and the mobile is very large and in your face and cant be moved out of the way. The motor makes alot of noise and when it starts off swining it stops then starts back up again?

Great swing!! – Fantastic device, has saved me so much time. My first born wasn't a huge fan, but it was still useful but my second babe loves it and will fall asleep wheneva I put her in it. I've set mine up in the kitchen so I can pop her in when I'm doing dinner etc or let her have a little sleep in there when I'm doing things with the other kids. I would… Read more

Best product, it's my nanny!!!! – Oh my god did this swing save me! I was worried when my husband returned to work after his parental leave as my baby always wanted to be held ( thanks to her dad ) as I had no idea how to juggle my home duties and be a loving mum. Baby cried if she wasn't held by someone and being first time mum, you can panic at times. Saying all this, the swing… Read more

solved my problem. It was the best $240 I had spent. Keep in mind when it's your first, you find that you buy so much stuff that you don't even need. But the swing, I recommend to any parent. Seriously, all the daily use that comes from it, it's like spending $1 a day for a nanny.

Easy transportation, bit bulky and heavy but worth it. Easy to wash. Batteries last a while using Duracell. Buy cheap batteries and it won't last. Totally worth every cent. Helpful and reliable Bit noisy, but my daughter got used to it and never bothered her.

Best Buy – Purchased this item 2nd hand (3 months old approximately) for half the retail price ($150) and would have spent full price after using it! regard to batteries, still using the batteries which the previous owner had installed so can't say that they chew much. We used this everyday for months! – We received this rocker as a gift & would never had purchased it ourselves as it retails for $300. She is now too heavy for it & we are so disappointed she can't use it anymore. It has been worth the price. Baby LOVES it! It is the only thing that can settle her at times. She loves the mirror & looking at the lamb mobile. Absolutely everything about this product is fantastic. No flaws other then the price tag. However I see the difference compared to cheaper models.

Great service – We bought this swing to help put our baby to sleep but after a week the swing wasn't swinging as fast as when first purchased, even after changing batteries multiple times. I called fisher price and they sent A replacement swing motor free of charge. It arrived 2 days after my call. Good as new. Swings fast, legs fold down, mirror in mobile Chews through batteries Show 2 replies

Best Purchase to Date! – We were over the moon with this purchase. It settles a fussy baby and keeps them occupied with the mobile. Speed adjustments are also good. Only negative is that the batteries don't last very long and are expensive (still worth every dollar we spent on it) requires a fairly spacious room. Entertaining for baby Batteries

The best rocker avaliable but – We did our research before purchasing the swing as it was a lot of money and we weren't ever sure if our son would like it. which we don't use a lot. The mobile it great as it has a mirror and it alot as little lambs and moons which you can set to circulate which is his favorite part he is always looking upwards. The 2 things i don't like about this swing is 1 when the swing it going one of the legs slightly comes off the floor on carpet, tiles ever if i fiddle and shuffle the legs further apart 2 when you have the swing going the motor/gears make a noise even if i have used it for a month and even if its been going for a while I rang about the 12 month warranty and they said all of them make noise and it pot luck some make more than others and if i send it back they rate it and if they say its to bad they will replace it and if they don't agree they will send it back. I am torn on what to do it is loud the noise my son is put off by it but in the same thought i don't want to get one worse! If they know about it why haven't they sorted it out ??? My son loves the mobil and the chair is great Motor/Gear Noise

Best purchase we made – This was the best purchase we made! It was the only way our little guy would sleep! He had reflux and some food intolerances so the seat position was very beneficial. loved it. As he got heavier it took a bit to get going but it always worked a treat! Great for a reflux baby A bit expensive if buying new but worth every penny. Also bulky if you don't have a lot of space.

The only thing that kept my baby occupied – I bought this swing not really knowing if it would be useful, my baby is now 7 months and its been the best buy we've made. It was the only way we could have a break when he was a newborn as he'd cry if he was put down anywhere else Soft, secure and reliable Takes up quite a bit of room in the lounge

Wonderful swing - contented baby :-) – Definately hands down one of the best purchases we have made for our little girl, she just loves it! chills in it whilst watching baby Einstein then nods off for a nap, wakes up happy chatting away and giggling at herself in the mirror. Like all things made for bubbas, it is not a full time baby sitter but definately helps soothe and settle my wee one, then gives you a little time to do whatever you need to catch up on. I definately have a contented baby when using this. I also bought another swing whilst in NZ recently and she was no where near as contented in that one as had a more upright seat, the little lamb swing is just super comfy. Our batteries seem to last a while too.

I wish they made them for adults! – I fell in love with this the first time I saw it, it's so adorable. The best invention Eva – Bought this for our son and he loves it!! He's a very unsettled, independent baby and would rather be in his swing then anywhere else. The mirror is brilliant. He just states at himself. Never hear a peep out of him web he's using it. So content and happy. Very comfory too Everything! Wish I could select the songs it plays. Saved our sanity! Literally! – We bought this when our little girl was about 2 weeks old. She wasn't sleeping in her cot or bassinet because she needed to feel more snug. never fails to lull our baby to sleep. It is also good for if you have inside pets as it is off the ground and they can't knock this over or get into baby's face (unless you have a large dog I suppose).

Best swing out there – We bought this item before we had our son and we thought it would be a great investment for times when we wanted to soothe him. It definitely was! and the music it plays is really good. We ended up using the white noise from it and it helped soothe our son to sleep. I just wished the music played longer though because my husband or I had to keep resetting the music so many times.

There are 2 positions that the chair can be in. Lying down or sitting up. My son is now 9.5 months old and just uses it when we need to get something done really quickly and he gets some relaxation time. He is at the age where he wants to sit up, so we leave him in the 'sitting' position and have him seat belted in.

There are also 3 swivel positions so that you can swing side to side or front to back which is really convenient for those babies who have reflux issues.

There is a mirror in the middle where the lambs spin around and it is very cute. Our son likes to look at them and tries to grab them and sometimes manages to pull it off but we just put it back on again.

I found the life of the battery in the swing was great! We used it a lot and it lasted us a while. We invested in really good rechargeable batteries.

The padding is VERY comfortable and so soft. It's such a cute swing. For the money you spend on it, it is definitely worth it.

I would make sure you test your baby on the swing before you buy it as swings are either a hate or love thing with certain babies. I didn't know this until after our son was born (thankfully he loved it phew). Swings in 2 directions, 2 seating positions, good choices of music, sturdy and reliable, comfortable Music length is too short

This is a must have! – Great swing! I started using it for my newborn at 3 weeks ad it was a bit too early. Now my girl is 5 weeks old and she loves it. When she starts crying I put her on C&S and she loves it- majority of the times he just fall in sleep on it. Music / nature sounds stopped after few minutes of playing so you have to keep pressing but it's not a big deal.

Amazing, the "mechanical parent"! – We just purchased this 2nd hand and it as amazing! Our little girl is 11 weeks old and loves it. We first tried it in the store but didn't want to spend $300 on it as it will only last her a few months. We managed to pick one up for $150 and had only been used for a few months and is still in great condition. The cover comes off and is easy to… Read more

throw in the wash and is a really nice soft material against baby's skin. The swing settings are quite powerful - we only have it on the 2nd slowest setting and that is fast enough in the side-to-side motion. Maybe when we convert it to back-and-forth the faster settings will be more suitable, but for now, the slower settings are more than adequate. The baby can sit in it securely with the lap harness and there is a little tray that can be clipped in or left off.

The sound settings are good - it has 8 different songs that sound like carnival music (so not our favourites) and other relaxing sounds like birds chirping and night music. You can adjust the volume as well, which is great.

What I really love is that all the settings work independently - you can have the swing on or off, music on or off and also the rotating toys at the top, so you don't have to have everything on at the same time.

The only downside is that it only uses batteries (4xD) and there isn't an AC adaptor for it. Really wish it came with a power outlet, but we are looking at getting rechargeable batteries to help minimise the cost of always having to have a spare set.

We had purchased a mechanical rocker/bouncinette chair (Bloom Coco Rocker) which was the same price brand new and she hated it! Yes it looked great in our living room, but she didn't like sitting in it and you have to rock it yourself.

We let our little girl sit it in for an hour or so a day and it always soothes her and keeps her happy, really handy for when you just need to put the baby down but they just want to be rocked. She's always happy in it, and happy baby = happy parents! Happy baby = Happy parents!! Love this Only takes batteries (4xD) which can get expensive at $10 a pack
