different music options and the volume is adjustable but a turning know rather than just a low/high volume switch. The chair is a well padded papasan style chair with a small pillow cushion for comfort, it also comes with a detachable tray for when the child is older with toys attached.

This has been invaluable for me given that i also have a one year old. Not only does it allow me to have somewhere safe, off the ground to put the baby (out of the one year olds reach!!), the baby absolutely loves it so it allows me to share my time between my two children. The rocking motion assists to put the baby to sleep as well and i find the padding in the chair seems to make her feel secure. She also loves to sit and giggle at her own reflection and watch the toys spinning around when the mobile is turned on.. All in All a fantastic purchase. Provided a safe place to put the baby, assisted the baby to sleep or be stimulated depending on the time of day without needing to be held all day, different swinging motions, knob to turn for volume to get to a good level rather than just the high/low switch, six different swinging speeds and 4 different melodies for music. Takes up a fair bit of space in the room, runs on D size batteries so can be expensive to run depending on how often you use it (however the alternative of having to have a cord to a plug isnt appealing to me), cost is approximately $250-$300

There are also several speed settings for the swing seat, although I found that how the settings respond depends on the weight of baby eg. when baby was newborn & super light the seat seemed to move too quickly even on the lowest setting, however this settles down as baby gains weight. The seat also features a harness & cushioned head support, & is able to be set to swing up and down or rock side to side which I found very handy. There is a play tray that clips on to the seat with toys attached for when baby is older.

The unit is only powered by batteries & they do seem to run out reasonably quickly, though not so much so that I would warn against purchasing.

When researching this swing I found the specifications noted this style of swing to have a higher weight bearing capacity than the smaller portable swings, which means you will get more use out of it.

My first child loved this swing & would frequently fall asleep in it, which gave me time to do all the normal household chores, or actually get to relax occasionally.

When shopping for this swing I found it to be very expensive & nearly bought a cheaper swing. Instead I was able to buy a second hand one from a private eBay seller for considerably cheaper price approximately 4 years ago. The seller had used it for a couple children. I used it for one, then put into storage, and took it out to use again 5 months ago. It was still working great, but the motor has pretty much died now. I am fairly certain this was only due to my almost 4 year old frequently holding & stopping the swing from moving whilst it was in motion and I was very tempted to go & buy another to replace it.

We loved this swing & have recommended it many many times to others. Can adjust seat to use for little bubbas. Can swing side to side & front to back. Lots of music. Battery hungry. Takes up a lot of space. Difficult to move from room to room. Expensive.

Excellent – Defintitely a great product and also very practical as you can make it swing sideways or front/back. Has great options and looks great too. until we bought this swing and he started to sleep for several hours. Honestly, this swing was our savior and without sounding too dramatic, it possibly saved me from post natal depression as it was the only way I could get any rest in the first few months. My little baby is now 6 months old and doing much better yet he still loves the swing and especially the toys hanging above. It's a bit pricey but then again I couldn't put a price on my sanity!

Buys you approx 30 mins if baby stays awake... hours if baby falls asleep. musics... swings (side-to-side! - not just forward and back) and has these marvelous moving creatures that grab baby's attention Takes up a lot of room and a little awkward to move. Is fabulous to use when you need your hands, you know your child is safe and you can move it where ever you are. The highest swing speed would give a rollercoster a run for its money!!!
