Excellent Fun Toy – I am glad that I bought this toy! It is very durable as it has lasted for my 2 children. They both played with it hours at a time. I did buy extra blocks for it, enough to go around my house for my kids to ride and push around. Durable, hours of fun, 3 toys in one if you count the blocks.

A great push toy – We got this brand new when my daughter was young (7 now). I agree it's too wide to make a good riding toy, she used it just to sit on, and then as a push toy. We kept it (it held up, it's still in really good shape) and now my 10 month old son is using it to learn to walk. I really like it for a walking toy, because since it's so wide it doesn't… Read more

have much of a turning radius, so I know the wheels won't catch something and take a turn on him. It's his favorite thing to walk with and is helping to build his confidence as he learns. I'm so glad we kept it! Durable, great for a learning-to-walk toy, teaches cause and effect as it "eats" the blocks too wide for a riding toy, kind of bulky, but worth it

OK – I got this from a recycle shop and thank heavens that I didnt buy it brand new since I am having issues with its safety. Anyway my son enjoys it as a push toy, he finds it too wide to ride on. He gaves up using it as a push toy with the handles pulled up, he is scared of it now if I put the seat up. Overall, It is all okay but I wouldnt be buying… Read more

it. sturdy and very low to the ground which makes it more stable than other ride ons, my son love the movement of the hippo's mouth and how he eats stuff my son got stuck in between(when you pull up the seat to make it a handle). He got a nasty scratch from under the hippo's head.

OK – I really like this hippo as it is fun for the children when it eats the blocks up. I got this toy from a thrift store and I am glad that I didn't buy it new as my daughter hardly plays with it. I had always wanted to buy one but I am not sure I would buy one again. I think this toy is suited to younger children learning to walk as it is… Read more

excellent to use as a push toy rather than a ride on. I really like that this hippo is two toys in one. It is either a ride on or a push along for first walkers. A bit bulky.

Terrible – I think this is a boring product compare to the other products out there. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone to buy for their child or give as a gift. My son got this as a gift off his grandfather for his first birthday. It is good to push it along and collect the blocks. The blocks were the best part as he likes to look and carry things. He… Read more

loved using it as a seat. My son hardly ever used this. It just never appealled to him. It is bulky and arkward to move around as a ride on.

Bad – Well this hippo looks expensive and I imagine it was as a few member of the family put in together to buy it for our son, however he hardly used it as he would have had to do the splits with his legs to sit comfortably inside it which the only place he would have sat as the seat is not appropriate to sit on and push or ride this toy. It doesn't… Read more

really swallow the blocks properly and the only thing my son used it for was to climb on so he could reach things up on the table..you'd be better off buying them a little step stool....just kidding....but seriously...don't waste your money...our's is now a sandpit toy...what a waste for that kind of money! Looks nice! Good idea in theory! Too bulky...low to the ground and too wide for sitting on

Bad – We won ours in a raffle and I had seen them before and liked it and would have purchased one, I'm happy that I didn't waste my money. Its hard to use as a ride on as the handle sits in childs lap. Better to use as a walker. Mine doesn't always pick up the blocks, sometimes it does. For the cost I would probably recommend a different type of… Read more

ride on car to use if that was the main purpose of play. A novelty that was not designed too well. My son prefers his "little people" ride on and rarely touches his hippo. cute, use to walk or ride bulky, poor design
