Gsggenau coffee machine. Just a big waste of time and money – After spending big on what is going to be our last house renovation , my wife and I thought to spoil ourselves with Gaggenau appliances, ovens x2, warmer, Coffee machine , induction and gas hot plates, so big $$ was spent on luxury appliances and luckily we bought a different branded fridge . From the time we we forced to take possession of our appliances because of COVID stock issues, even though our reno was still 12 mths off from completion., I knew any warranty issues was always going to be a challenge. When removed from the box, our coffee machine (CM450110 model) never worked and we requested a replacement machine which was declined even though it was never used and even their authorised agent said, it was faulty straight from the factory and he requested a replacement in his report but Gaggenau still refused to replace the machine and now has had 3 major part replacements since installation in March 2024, and we are now in June . With all my service history, Gaggenua now wants to send another technician to confirm what I am saying is correct and then they will decide what is the best remedy. All this time, I have a non operating $4K coffee machine sitting in my kitchen wall. Luckily I still own my new, but old 6 year old amazing VZUG built in machine that has never missed a beat to deliver our coffee hits for my family of 4. From my experience with Gaggenau ( owned by Bosch), I recommend anyone considering this brand, please stay away and consider any other brand than the Bosch/ Gaggenau family of appliances. From my E&S trading purchase which they sold Gaggenau as the Porsche of appliances (next level) who were very quick to take our money, hold cooking courses and talk how well made these appliances are ( by the way, not all German made either) but in reality, the coffee machine product turned out to be a lemon and instead of accepting the issue and doing a straight change over which is expected at this level, they treat you in way that is is totally unacceptable by making you feel the issues are caused by you and like to quote consumer law, which is exactly who I have called now to address my issues with and seek legal advice.

Mechanical problems that cannot be easily resolved! – The Gaggenau works well when it is working. The problems come when it doesn't! The brewing unit is stuck in the machine and the unlock mechanism no longer works. Hours of frustration with tinkering with it yielded nothing. And guess how much it costs to have an engineer come out to solve it!!!!

We Love Coffee – We love coffee and for several years have enjoyed the DeLonghi Espresso machine. When remodeling our kitchen we decided to splurge and add the built in Gaggenau: The single biggest mistake in our band new kitchen. The unit would not let us enter the information required to customize the programs, coffee beans would stop grinding every 2-3 cups and at the highest heat setting the coffee temperature was mildly warm. After two service calls they replaced the entire grinding unit and still no change. The repairman suggested replacing the machine and Gaggenau declined. In the end I should have read the reviews and purchased another brand or solicited the recommendations of the dealer I purchased my other appliances from. In many years of buying appliances I have never been more disappointed in the quality and customer service.

Keep some instant on hand!!! – We have installed our coffee machine and it does not work at all!! It was sent to Service department and it needs a new drive which arrived from Germany...then we were told we needs a new valve!!! we are waiting for it to arrive from Germany. Note these machine state that they are individually hand tested before they leave the factory.
