Valuable Information and efficient quotation process – Thus far in the process of purchasing and having solar installed, I have found Green Engineering Solar very useful in providing valuable information and quotes from what seem to be reliable installers.

Don't even deserve 1 star – Terrible money grabbing scammers. They will pressure you into paying paying and PAYING first. Installation process was messy, they kept rescheduling. They actually blocked our number after taking our money.

idea of using solar panels as a form of roof sheeting and they are environmentally friendly. My switch board needed a upgrade and they charged $300 for which is fair from my limited knowledge.

Do not waste your money on this company – Worst company to deal with warranty. the whole point of warranty repair? The sales person said if anything faulty within warranty period they will come and fix it never mentioned that they will charge for it. Stay away from this company, very dodgy ‘company policy’.

Terrible service – Firstly installed a 15kw system with back up batteries that was supposed to run our entire business only to produce 1/3rd of our daily usage with no charge to the batteries at all. Now the system is playing up and can’t get anyone here to fix it, they just refer it to solax for warranty.

I am currently getting a local company to come and do a full system diagnostic ($500 just to get here before any fix ). Will be sending this mob the bill to fix the system. Ps only been connected for 18 months.

damage. Ok so the sales person was very mis leading to me, I was told made in Germany inverter WRONG designed in Germany made in China and Australian panels but really they are made in China, or how they keep saying 6.5kw system but the system is a 5 kw with 6.5 w of panels

Check that the inspector who signs the 'Certificate of Electrical Inspection' field has actually climbed onto the roof to inspect the wiring from the panels. Well folks he did not.

AVOID AT ALL COST – I purchased a system from these guys over 5 years ago and my inverter is already broken. I had to pay upfront for a new replacement inverter and I have been waiting for over 3 months now for someone to call me back to arrange installation. I have contacted customer service every week sometimes twice a week for them to call me back. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS unless like me you want to loose your money. :(

Broken – 2 inverters with melted wires. 2 shattered panels. Ring them.was told yes they all be replaced. That was over 6months ago. But they did send out 1inverter but I've got 2 broken inverters. . Then blamed me for not sending both pictures. So still waiting on 1 inverter and 2 solar panels. Then for my them to be replaced installed. No business skill. No nothing

Damn bloody service – Bloody company can’t do their job properly. Been 2 months nothing bloody done. What kind of company is this. Customer service that can’t speak English and can’t help their customer.

AVOID - outsourced with no integrity, cant get hold of any Australians in this "Aus Owned" company – The are constantly calling my phone via some call centre in India and then you try call them to tell them to delete your number and you end up in the Philippines, they will harass you via calling you daily if you give these guys your number. I then tried to call the australian office (apaprent) and still got another out reach service Go away and delete our numbers you intrusive rude people!!!

Appalling repair, maintenance & custmer service!!! – Original installation 2 years ago was great. Fault reported 26.9.17. Refused assistance until paid GE $220. Buyer beware. Does not honour warranty – I helped arrange a Solar System Installation for my parent in October 2011 via Green Engineering. The system have a 5 years warranty. pay $800 for a replacement system as it's out of warranty.

My understanding is that the warranty guarantee that the product would work within the warranty time period. In this case, the electric bills show that the system stopped working within that warranty period.

Non existant customer service – Greens Engineering installed a 3kw system in 2013. The system was good until i noticed the inverter was not working in January 2017. I rang was told to reset by switching off and back on. This did not work. I phonrd again and was asked to provide photograph of inverter with model number etc. I did this immediately. and was told a warranty claim had been submitted however the suppliers were on leave until 16th. I was offered a replacement with 3 years warranty for payment of $800. On the 19th i rang again and was given the phone number of the suppliers and can chase them up myself. The phone number given states the person you are calling is unavailable.

A further 2 emails and 3 sms messages have been ignored by Greens.

usual weekly check on the system online to find we have not generated any power in 3 days. So I ring the SEM contact line and they have people out the same day (all good up till now). The issue was outdated equipment that was incompatible. So they say they will order a new inverter. Now 6 weeks later and we still have zero power. Multiple attempts to contact SEM have received no response other than "I will pass your message along".

Today I tried to contact Green Engineering. When [name removed] called back he tried to pass the blame to everyone else, taking zero responsibility, despite his instistance when we bought that his "local" after sales service was superior.

Do not buy through these people...they are as unreliable as the weather.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY – Slow, unresponsive, poor quality and dodgy. The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. The inverter was poor quality and broke within 4 years of installation. We paid 3 months ago, they've been dawdling ever since, I've called them so many times and each time they promise to take action, but nothing happens. Two weeks ago I issued an ultimatum, install within 7 days or face a chargeback, a complaint to consumer affairs, and negative reviews on every single site possible. They still haven't delivered.

Green engineering solar. solar – This company is run by Chinese and India, don't ever do business with them. I had install my solar with them about 2 year ago and is broken down twice, no once came and fix it. Until my husband and I decided to go to the office and scream out of them, then the next day, they sent someone came and it got fix. I urge anyone who have same problem just go to consumers affair.. Solar packed up after 1 week out warranty – Worked well up to now. $165 call out $900 to fix. I think for a new inverter. Planned obsolescence to the wire. Bought 28/08/2011 stopped working 1st week September 2016 5year warranty. The inverter I assume is made up of multiple components that can be replaced individually. Will get someone else to look at it. I suspect it will be a system reset.

your problem. Solar engineering does not want to take any responsibility for their mistake or even try to rectify the problem for you. They will not answer your calls or respond to your emails. Do not get fooled by this dishonest company! They are a complete joke and should not be allowed to operate!!

Hopeless Service!!! – Contacting the ACCC as I'm getting no where with this company. My panels are damaged & need replacing but, after 3 emails & 8 phone calls (answered by their MESSAGE SERVICE), I'm still waiting for them to contact me. Absolutely shocking customer service! Please don't fall for their sales pitch. The initial installation may work out, but they won't be there to service your panels afterwards!

can not trust this company after installation – it was nice and good when they tried to sell their products but after then, the inverter has been out of order in 2 years and we have contacted with the customer service. They are the rudest staff I have seen ever. They just hang up your call if they do not want to talk and the phone was disconnected. Can you believe? design layout west and east and the whole team have been amazing, found them very helpful all through the process. The skillful installation team arrived on time and worked hard all day the bad weather didn't make it easy for them did a wonderful job cleaned up after leaving, no mess, all completed in the day. They let a booklet with us detailing all about our new solar system which is wonderful. Highly recommend Green Engineering for their excellent services and installation.

Christmas eve 2015 - the isolator on the north facing panels caught fire. Fire Brigade attended. Fire extinguished before it could get into the roof space. Fire Brigade report stated either a component fault or workmanship fault. I checked the connections on the west facing panels and 7 of the 8 terminals were loose. 3 terminals needed over 2 full turns to tighten. Called Greens on Xmas eve to notify them. Did not expect much at that time of the year - fair enough. As at Jan 18 2016, still had not had a follow up call. If, as a manager, I had received an email about a product catching fire, I would have at least called to acknowledge the initial call. Nothing. I had to call them. Told by their "Customer Service" rep that they would not proceed without a report from the Fire Brigade. The rep refused to allow me any contact with a company representative with a technical background so I could explain the reason for the fault. Fault is a combination of cheap inferior isolators with poor workmanship. Not happy at all, Still trying to get them to fix it.

installation, everything for level one were done within one week; although level 2, installation for the solar meter box was a bit slow, took one week. But the guy who installed my solar meter box was very funny which wiped out all the unhappiness. Definitely recommend to everyone.
