Grunn Slow GSJ01

Grunn slow juicer – With no exaggeration I used mine no more than 30 times, as per instructions and then smoke came from the motor and now it makes banging noises and smokes when I attempt to use it, before stopping completely. Utterly useless, do yourself a favour and stay away from grunn products, they don't last more than a month. Cheap Cheap
Loved the Juicer but only lasted three weeks - terrible Customer Service, not worth buying – I purchased this juicer and was delighted with it and the juice i got from it. However one morning as my boyfriend was about to start juicing he accidentally flicked the switch into reverse instead of on. He flicked it to off straight away however it was too late. We brought it to a repair guy and the motor is gone and would cost too much to… Read more
replace.
I contacted Grunn Customer Service and was extremely disappointed with the response I received. I thought at least I would be able to return it to them as professionals to have a look and see if it was fixable or else they would be able to advise where would be best to send the machine. But they just said to bring it to someone local and there was nothing they would do about it.
Unfortunately all this happened back in May/June, so prior to everyone elses reviews with the motor blewing which i cannot believe what I am reading now!
There is no warning in the information on how easliy the machine can be broken. If this is the case I think the reverse and on switches should be on separate buttons.
Again I loved the juicer but this happened only just over TWO weeks after I spend $300 on it and so my disappointment with this and the response I received from Grunn has far outweighed my thoughts on the juicer. It is not worth it because of this. Great to use, great juice Motor went, Grunn Customer service very bad, ultimately paid $300 & now have nothing
Poor product Appalling customer service – As with most of the reviews the juicer lasted around 3 weeks before the motor failed. Contacted Grunn who assured me the unit would be replaced. I returned the faulty unit at my expense and that was the last I heard from Grunn. It is now over 2 months and I have had no replacement unit or even any response to my several attempts to contact them.… Read more
My advice would be to stay well clear of anything to do with Grunn and pay the extra to buy from a reputable retailer that actually stands by their product and cares about their customers. Good when it worked
Dreadful Customer Service – Bought Juicer in April going well until the motor Blew for seemingly no reason. Sent emails for Motor replacement, made phonecalls that go unanswered. So this is an expensive item if the company will not support its warranty and going on previous comments its seems the motor does not last long and the company ignores calls for replacement. Good when it worked Lasts a couple of months
not recommended – i purchased a grunn multi cooker and was initially very happy with a price however within less than a month the motor blow up and i tried to contact them so many time no reply what so ever . not worth a money u paid eventhought only $50 not recommended to any buyer
Poor quality products – Customer service great until a purchase is made! Unwilling to give refund for faulty items which were returned immediately. Offered a store credit which I did not want because of the inferior quality of items. Slow Juicer looked good but only used it for 2 weeks (about 10 times) before the motor blew. Very hard trying to get my money back,… Read more
emails go unanswered. Do not recommend this Malaysian brand.
Reasonable prices but expensive experience
A really good, affordable healthy alternative to centrifugal juicers – Highly recommended. Okay, I am officially a juice junkie. Juice makes up a large part of my diet actually. I have 4 juicers ........This is my latest baby, and apart from this one I have a Breville monster, a Panasonic, and a Lex-sun slow juicer. (two of my juicers live at work and two stay home.) I've written reviews for all of them, but… Read more · 5
this little Grunn, had by far the best surprises..
1) Cost: it is at least $300 cheaper than other slow juicers - known to be the healthiest juices you can make. Comparitively priced with the mass market centrifugal juicers - but a world apart in quality of juice extracted.
2) You get more juice per vegetable as it minces then presses the juice more efficiently, with drier pulp. Juice doesn't separate and there is no foam.
3) you can make cleaning easier by feeding water through the chute.
4) This is a fast slow juicer... without destroying the nutrients. The chute, whilst smaller than the centrifigal juicer can take reasonable sized vegies without force.
5)A good warranty (12 month replacement policy)
6) It is stable with suction feet and a mechanism that won't operate if the feeder chute isn't locked in - no messy accidents.
This juicer is highly recommended for anyone who wants the Best juice , which isn't necessarily the same as the best juicer... Best priced two step juicer in Australia. The small juice extractor strainer part is fiddly to clean. A cleaning brush would have been useful.
Extremely Poor Customer Service, do not purchase from Grunn – I purchased a Grunn Slow Juicer and was initially very happy with the purchase it juiced well and I had no issues, however within less than a month, and around 5 uses the motor blew. I've subsequently made the warranty claim and have been waiting for over 2 weeks now for them to contact me and no indication I will be contacted. Juiced well bad warranty service, short life span of product
Good little juicer – Was juicing excellent until the plastic brush came off the auto cleaning brush assembly. When this happens the pulp does not come out of the pulp spout, it goes to the top of the auger. I have contaced Grunn support three times to find out where I can get the part from. I strongly beleive that Grunn do not have a supply of parts. Good juicer until you require support from GRUNN, be very wary. bad warranty service
Super duper Juicer – We wanted to get a juicer and therefore borrowed a slow juicer as well as a Breville Juicer from friends and family. The centrifugal Breville juicer was a waste of space and waste of fruit and veg. The slow juicer we liked, but they are quite pricey. We then came across the Grunn Slow Juicer and got it on special. Wow, we are so happy with it. It… Read more
gives a lot of juice and so little waste (which goes to the chickens ;-). The flavour of the juice is phenomenal and the colours (using carrots and celery for example) are so vibrant. It's a nice looking machine too, not to huge and it's fairly easy to clean (haven't come across any juicers that are 'easy' to clean) as you can poor water into it after you have finished juicing and put it in reverse which cleans out the worst. It has got a one year warranty, so I'm sure it will last too. Very happy! Extract a lot of juice, very little waste
Great value for money! – I have always wanted to own a slow juicer after hearing all the myths that the juice is more nutritious and tastier. I would never pay $599 for a juicer, that's what the others were retailing for at the stores. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product. A recipe book was included, I am impressed with this product and refer it to anyone… Read more
