outlet hose – I got mine since 11 years and had no problem until 2 months ago. The machine needed a new outlet hose. Haier I love you. PS I bought also a cloth dryer 5 years ago, works to perfection. Off course like all machinery you have to maintain them, not just winch ITS NOT WORKING. I bought it from Appliances Online.

Awful – This dishwasher came with the apartment that I am currently renting and it has been awful. First time I used it, it would not start properly. Not only this, water remained at the bottom of the machine after the cycle had finished. Dishes that were meant to be cleaned were thoroughly dirty, with crumbs and food stains still on plates and cutlery. After having a plumber look at the machine, he managed to start it after fixing the pipes, saying that it had been installed 'incorrectly'. So assuming that he did in fact reinstall it properly, it seems strange that the machine still had water in the bottom. Not only this, I had left the house whilst the machine was running and returned 4 hours later to find the machine STILL running.

Major complaints aside, the machine is extremely loud when running and is poorly designed so that you cannot tell when the cycle is supposed to end.

Save yourself the trouble and invest in a working dishwasher.

Fire Hazard – Bought this at a garage sale so don't know how old it was but the seller said it was just used for cups in an office. Was terrible from the start, door needs pushing in really hard to close, each time you do it you feel like your damaging it, over time the door got worse. Washing ability, well did ok job for a whole if dishes went in well rinsed but washing ability got worse over time. Cutlery drawer disintegrated so ordered a new one from F&P for $20. The new one warped almost immediately. then it stopped working and got stuck on the wash cycle so I had to manually turn it round to rinse. Today I turned it on and smelled smoke thank god I didn't go out, smoke was billowing and the element was burning out. Glad I didn't pay much for this piece of bleeeeeeep. Give this dishwasher a wide berth you are better off washing your dishes by hand.

Everything is wrong about it, terrible, awful, the worst

Terrible – If i could have given 0 stars thats what i would have given. This dishwasher is terrible, the door doesnt close unless you almost slam it.. it is soo noisey it sounds like train is coming through the house, 1hour 45min normal cycle and dishes still not clean properly. Water sometimes does not empty and pools in the bottom of the dishwasher.. dishes not dried. No idea of where the cycle is up to with no digital screen and the knob doesnt move to indicate how long there is left to go. This machine is terrible. i would never buy Haier ever again

1 hour 45 min normal cycle, very noisey, doesnt dry properly.. the list is endless
