Haute One Size Pocket

Not great – Not a fan of these nappies. After only a few uses, the inner lining of the PUL pocket has come away from the fabric and is all wrinkly. I have only ever washed them as per instructions, and they have never been in the dryer, so it is not because of anything I have done. I have other brands in my stash that have lasted a lot better than these. … Read more
Also, there are no holding spots for the Velcro tabs when the nappy is unfolded, so it sticks to every other nappy and insert when in the wash. The fit of the nappy is good. Poor quality lining, not very well made.
My favourite nappies so far :) – I found these to be the best workhorse nappies I bought :) They have lasted the distance and after two years the elastic is just wearing out but he velcro is fine and the PUL has not delaminated at all. They lasted 4 hours easily on my son with both inserts inside and never once leaked :) Inexpensive, Reliable, Easy to stuff and choose the right size
Bad – One of the least favourite nappies in my collection and if I had to do it again, I wouldn't buy them (or so many) even though we got it so cheap, as it ended up increasing our laundry loads with all the pee'd on clothes! While they fit quite ok for sizes and I'm worried the questionable quality means they won't last until he gets big enough to… Read more
adjust to the next size up, let alone for the next bub! They dried very quickly, and the fabric remained soft after many washes. the velcro closure means being able to fit our skinny baby more accurately. The snap together inserts are a great idea. We got them fairly cheap. The snap size adjustment are really not positioned in the right place- we have had so much trouble with leg leakage with these, it's almost reliably leaking everytime! I find the microfibre insert doesn't really absorb much liquid to be honest, so we're changing our son very soon after putting him in one of these. ours have also started delaminating, although so far no leaks from that.
OK – Not one I would buy again. I have tried many MCN and this one is on the bottom of my list because it just didn't last. I definitely like the colour selection though. Cheap, easy to keep clean, nice colours. Good fit. Seemed not to last very long. The insert system was a bit fiddly and the multi--sizing didn't seem to sit nicely. This nappy… Read more
didn't last long out of all the brands I tried. Elastic deteriorated fairly quickly and the PUL felt flimsy after a while (and actually started leaking)
Excellent – Excellent. We are glad we bought them and, so long as, like any cloth nappy, you change them once every 2 hours or so, there's no problems with leaks. I've tried various brands, but Haute Pockets are our favourite. They fit well, the snaps are good, and we've found them reliable and easy to use. We didn't any instructions sent with the first set… Read more
we bought, so it was a bit of guess work initially. The second batch came with a page of care instructions, but really the paper label around each nappy should have the basics about how good configurations for the liners, and more detailed washing instructions.
Bad – I've only got one of these nappies in my collection and wouldn't buy more. I paid quite a bit for mine and wasn't really impressed for the price, though I think you can get them fairly cheap now. I'd pay the extra money and get a different brand, as there are lots more OSFM nappies out there that fit and work better. Quick drying. The shape of… Read more
the large booster (bigger at the back) means that it catches wees really well when babies are small and spending all their time on their back. Only two snaps to adjust size means that they gape in the middle when snapped down to the smaller setting. Also, one row of snaps for waist adjustment I find means they don't fit as well as nappies that have two rows.
Bad – Due to the constant leaks, I didn't like this nappy. However this is only my experience of them, others have used this nappy quite successfully. Very cheap nappy and easy to use, just like a disposable. Constant leaking and annoying to stuff the insert into the nappy
Bad – I really belive you get what you pay for in a nappy and the Haute traditionals reinforced this for me. I found them to leak with 2 hours, difficult to stuff, the larger booster always sticks out or bunches at the back. The stretch fabric drags poorly so when snapped it looks a bit of a mess, like it is too small, but any larger and it leaks more. … Read more
I found there only redeeming feature was the price, but to me any money spent on a leaky nappy is money wasted. Cost Appearance, they are difficult to stuff and I find they leak.
Bad – I purchased 5 nappies for $9 each. I am happy with them based on that price. I would not have paid more. They will leak after 1.5-2 hours. Definitely a nappy for at home. A very cheap daytime nappy. A good range of colours. Large pocket opening for ease when stuffing the boosters. Comes with two boosters, small and large. Both or one can be used.… Read more
Velcro is great for when bub is between sizing. A one size fits most, works well on both my 7 month old and 2 year old. The nappy is now discontinued, however you may be lucky to get a cheap sell out price. Ensure that it has velcro laundry tabs. Some on ebay are turning out to be copies.
OK – Very happy with the first 4 nappies I purchased but when purchasing the additional 10 nappies they are useless. Are not confident to order any more Haute nappies as would not know which standard of nappy I would receive. I purchased 4 nappies to try before outlaying a lot of money, these nappies were fantastic, last for 4-5 hrs, no leaks, good fit… Read more
and great for fitting a new born and toddler. The outer layer stays dry while the inserts absorbs the wetness. But when I purchased more these leak constantly The secound lot I purchased will not even last 2 hrs, they leak right through. The material is different from the orginal very thin and pilling, will not absorb much fluid at all. The cover is missing 2 velco tabs which help hold the nappy in place.
Good – we got the breathables, which once the pads are soaked do have a damp feel and can make clothes feel damp also, which is made aware to the buyer before they buy them! we also got them at a great price of around $20 each so in my opinion their price point makes them an excellent choice! they also come with a small and large insert and you can… Read more
choose whether to use one or the other or both at the same time to suit your bub
because the inserts are removable they are quite quick to dry, although the constant need to reinsert them can become tiresome
overall though, these are a great nappy, we have 6 and use them mainly for outings, they can tend to leak if you have the pad bunched up between the legs though reasonably priced, quick drying, customisable absorbency, 2 booster pads included stuffing the pockets
Excellent – I've been using these for 6 months as well as 2 other brands. This brand is as good as a same styled but much more expensive brand. I'm very happy with mine and recomend them to everyone that asks my advice. Great fit on both my 2yo and baby. Great colour range. Easy to wash. Great price.
Excellent – I love these nappies. They are a great fit on both my newborn and toddler, however I only use the one small insert for my newborn. Soooo easy to care for, nice high quality microfleece inner that doesn't pill and a good outer that doesn't stain. Highly recommend Haute pockets! One-size, Australian-owned, lovely bright colours, 2 closure options, great inserts would like some prints :)

Know better, choose better.
Good – A great versitile nappy. Can be used through to toilet training and saves me taking a number of different nappies with us when we go out as they fit both my boys It fits a range of sizes and therefor saves money. Quick drying. After many washes they are still fantastic I tried the snaps and velcro ones and found the snaps had more wing droop (this is due to the build of my boys)
Good – Would have used only these nappies but were unavailable. Australian owned but I think made overseas now. Happy Heinys and Issy Bear have been good alternatives. Australian owned. 2 different inserts so have different levels of absorbancy for day and night. Inserts snap together so stay in place when using both together. Easy to adjust sizing as… Read more
baby grows. Would prefer options for material for inserts.
Have been unavailable for months so had to get similar American nappies at higher price and without snaps on inserts.
Terrible – I read good reviews about these and was really keen to buy australian designed and made but have been bitterly dissappointed. I foolishly bought 12 of these before bub was born. I should have only bought 1 to try them. I used the 12 for a week when bub was first born and found she was damp all the time (from the 'breathable' outer lining) and the… Read more
nappies leaked, often on me while I was feeding. I was not happy having a wet bub in winter. I have tried them again for a week at 3 months old, thinking they might fit better but no luck. I have tried all variations of liners etc and done them up so tight around the leg they left marks on bub for hours. I would no recommend these to anyone. I have found other reusable nappies which do not leak or feel wet all the time. Nice colours Leaks AND bubs clothes were damp all the time, I paid a premium for australian designed and made product which does not achieve the claims made in the advertising.
Terrible – i bought six of these before i realised they didnt fit my son properly, had read good reviews, but for me the leg hole was too big on the large setting, and he leaked at the navel on the medium setting. Prefer the bum genius pockets for sure! great colours poor fit, leaks
Terrible – the inserts soon smelled real bad, the crotch was bulky and the snap down was a real pain to do and the middle hung baggy. This made it hard to stuff and the boosting kept riding out the back. The waterproofing fabric seems a little thin and I am not sure how long it will last after repeated washings. It did leak after about 3 hours so is only suitable as a day nappy. not too sure stinky inserts, bulky crotch, inner lining pills
OK – I think these are probably a nice way to introduce someone to cloth nappies, particularly if you aren't sure what size to get. However I don't think they are a wise choice as a full set. My own ones are the old style and they haven't given us any trouble - except that my son grew out of them before the age of 2 - two of my friends have the newer… Read more
style and both of them have had trouble with the waterproof fabric 'delaminating' and not being useable. An average nappy overall i woudl say. One size fits most, trim fit, easy to use, absorbent low quality, doesn't fit right the way through to potty for most kids.
Excellent – The hautes breathables are brilliant. if my daughter has nappy rash I use these and it goes away quite quickly. They are so simple to use and will fit for a long time to come due to the sizing and fit. One size fits most, great range of colours and a choice of velcro or Snaps. Inserts seem smellier than other similar products.
