Plastic parts always breaking and customer gets the blame – It was some years ago now but I have come across this sight and it still upsets me. I had to fight with company (that has now amalgamated with some global company) to get my broken drum and cap replace after 3 years and utilizing my 5yr warranty. They made me take photos and scans of receipts and warranty and then tried to accuse me of misuse… Read more
and putting too large pieces through. I would have had to grate the pieces if I needed to get them any smaller !!! In the end (months) I got my parts under warranty but what a hassle and no use of machine for time frame. Other parts later cracked etc and I just threw it away due to the hassle of previous experience. Plus it didn't juice that well either leaving a lot of juice in the pulp.
Had a fault whe I first bought it, sent it back and it has worked for the past 3 years no problems, – Had a fault when I first bought it, sent it back and it has worked for the past 3 years no problems, not real good with greens but juicing everything else is the best one I have ever had, better than the Omega and much easier to clean, virtually no filter to get blocked. parts might be a problem now !!! Company doesn't exist anymore, you have warranty issues- Bad luck – I am so disappointed with this juicer. Some of the previous negative comments I agree. Firstly, the 5 year warranty is unusable as you can't trace this company anywhere...they miraculously vanished from the face of the earth. Release lock is so poorly designed , that every time you juice you have to hold the machine so the front part doesn't pop out with all your pulp and juice....
The Compact Premier Accessories are terrible – The plastic parts of the juicer brake constantly the company stays that it is my fault - high pressure - shall I juice water only to keep the juicer in tact.
Spare parts failing due to the pressure build up – I have Compact premier juicer for 2 year and have been using it for 4-5 days a week for 3-4 caps of juice daily. Over the 2 years of juicer life I had to replace - screen x 2, Drum x1, Drum cap x 1 and now up to for replacement of Locking clip x 1. At currently advertised price for all this spares it is totalling to $121.5 and this is on the… Read more
top of $269 I have paid for juicer. In addition, delivery fees were charged every time I would order a spare part.
Every time I had to replace the spare part I would talk to “To Health” as they advertise 5 years warranty on spares. Every time feedback would be the same: “Part failed due to the pressure build up. This failure is not covered by the warranty as it is caused by incorrect use of the juicer”. They also would refer me to the manual and explain me how to prepare fruits and vegetable for juicing.
I would admit that I just briefly skimmed the instructions of manual before I started using the juicer.
However after the first failure I have studied manual in details and more over every time I would call to “To Health” regarding the part failure I would discuss with them in details on how to prepare my favourite fruits and vegetables for juicing to avoid the future parts failure.
Despite me following all of the instructions the parts keep failing with the time and now I’m in opinion that this juicer is not capable of handling the pressure that builds up while juicing or perhaps is not capable to handle well such quantity of juicing. I think for me it is time to try alternative juicer (perhaps bit more expensive) as the cost of this one just keeps going up. However I tend to believe the Compact may do the better work and spares may last longer for less frequent juicing and in fewer quantities.
Not sure if we are doing something wrong – We have just unpack our juicer, and on the first juicing found it very slow, and cumbersom to use. It was quiet, but you had to cut the fruit up very small and also the catching container was very small, only about the size of one glass. We had a Breville juicer and were able to juice 2 - 3 litres in a matter of minutes, where this took several… Read more
minutes to produce 1 glass (if that of juice). Very disappointing.
Does seem very subtantial, very slow at producing the juice.
Extraordinary juicer – After a lot of research, including on this site, we chose the Choice-rated best buy cold press juicer for under $350, equal to some well over $600. It has a small footprint, a life-time motor warranty, is versatile, solidly made, quiet, easy cleaning, fun to use -- and produces fabulous juice. Outstanding quality throughout, small & lighter than most, but solid on the counter-top, easy cleaning, terrific warranty, excellent price. Nothing. Show reply
Excellent for juicing – I wanted a cold press juicer and i bought the compact at $269. I use its for juicing twice a day everyday, especially for green juices. My mum liked it so much i gave her mine and i went and bought a second one. Compact has also other uses such as pasta making and meat mincing, but so far i have only used it for juicing. It is affordable, reliable… Read more · 2
and can take some serious juicing with no problems at all. The feed chute is not very big, so you need to chop up all your veggies into smaller sizes to fit.
Great machine for the home – This is a great little machine for the price. Is only good for use at home for personal or family use. It can also mince meat or grind coffee beens & make sorbet style desserts, make guacamole, hummus, pesto, salsa and dips, pasta, it also makes sausages. It can juice wheat grasses or any other grasses you like. Great to get your health back after… Read more · 3
a long illness. It works as it was advertised & can do so many things for a small price. Excellent warranty. Good service. If you were looking for a machine to work like a commercial one, then this is not the machine for you.
