Hoover DDY 095TX

Two new dishwashers in six years – Very disappointed with this machine. Paid $999 plus extended warranty. Been advised that when replaced the normal warranty is not given. The controls panel burnt out both times. Thank goodness our home didn’t catch fire. We bought the Hoover brand thinking we would get the best to see our retirement out. Treated badly by warranty department Show details
Faulty after 3 uses – An electronic control fault requiring contacting customer service after just 3 uses. When installing, as my floors are slightly uneven, the installer could not level the dishwasher as only the front feet can be adjusted, but not the back. I had to find something to wedge under the back corner of the dishwasher to level it. The stupidest User Manual. It refers to parts of the dishwasher but no diagram labeling all parts of the dishwasher. Show details
Its a good dishwasher - nothing fancy – It's a nice, reliable dishwasher. We use it every day. We had one of the bottom tray brackets brake but it was fixed under warranty so no issues there. You do have to be careful that small plates on the bottom tray don't stop the blade underneath from spinning and not washing the dishes. Show details
Worst dishwaser – Hoover dish washer DDY095tx. Only good thing is it's quiet Dishes only come out clean if you wash them first.
Worst two dishwasher I've ever had – The first one we owned only lasted two weeks and when they came to fix it, they couldn't work out what was wrong with it so they replaced it. The second one lasted for just under two years and they found a coach roach in the power board so he refused to look any further. Apparently this is a common problem but means your warranty is completely… Read more
void. My husband managed to fix and it worked again for 3 months and then the water stopped pumping through it. The top two trays were terrible and kept hitting one another when you tried to pull them out. Only good thing was that it was quiet.
Best one I've owned - Easy to install and operate – If you read the manual just once you'll understand this dishwasher completely. Easy to use..and well thought out design, The 3rd drawer [ top] is great for utensils. Made in Italy and very robust. Looks good. Found the cutlery holder needs the lid removed to fit cutlery properly without interfering with the jets....but no big deal. Has… Read more

quiet washer great wash results – very quiet in the kitchen, many options such as auto cycles and short cycles also an intense steam wash cycle, over all great value for money, easy to use, takes the hassle out of washing dishes and rinsing dishes before putting in to dishwashers, great look and easy to keep clean. easy to use and very quiet too many funtions can be confusing
