Excellent – I bought one of these for my mother and was so impressed that I bought one for myself. They are pretty much any home user will ever need and even the optical character resolution works OK. I bought it some time ago and its much cheaper now making it really good value. You need to put aside an hour to install it however as it comes with a lot of software. However onnce installed it works really well.

I have used it under Windows XP and Vista and it seems to be more suited to Vista which makes it a bit future proof.

The quality of printing is not critical to me but I am quite impressed even without the use of special paper and cartridges.

However cartridges could be bigger as I seem to go through them much faster than my old Canon printer. Fast reliable printer and preety good scanner as well. Software is BIG and takes a long time to install. Small cartridges.
