HP Officejet J6400

Junk – Had the HP J6400 for 2 years. We barely used it. Purchased from Coscto. Changed inks twice because they kept drying up. The "all in one" won't even scan to computer with a bad cartridge. why is this?? (I even checked online for solutions) Wasted about $180 for a few print jobs and about 10-15 scans. Never buy an HP desktop printer. The 15 scans and few print jobs we had were good. Won't last long. Ink dries up fast. Won't even Scan to a computer if any of the cartridges are either expired or empty.

Scanner not so good – Overall the machine is pretty good, but the scanner and printer has given me problems. The printer at times (and pretty regularly) will cut off the the last line of a document and when scanning more than about 5 documents, the documents are scanned out of order. As a business owner this has been a real headache. inexpensive, wireless Scanner scans documents out of order and printer cuts off last line

Excellent – Great inexpensive printer that has features you would expect to see in an office or library, not at home. My parents have the same one, and neither of us have ever had any trouble with them. I've only ever had HP printers (bar one Epson about 15 years ago) and wouldn't consider any other now. If it ain't broke..... Excellent wireless printer, does the usual multifunction stuff, print, scan, copy, fax. Great quality printing, does 5 pages/minute of text easily. LCD screen, external card reader, Will do double sided printing. I love that I am not limited to copying individual documents, but can place anything on the glass for copying. I have printed really good quality photos with this, but prefer to print online these days. Took some time to set up with wireless router.
