Expensive, Unproductive Nightmare! – This machine prints beautiful, colorful computer images....but dang! It is SO not worth the money! I had to spend thousands of dollars during my five years with this machine. Why? It required FIVE, hard-to-order cartridges, that did not last. I got headaches as I ordered the necessary cartridges. I was an HP addict, buying thick, black HP 56r… Read more

cartridges; thin, black hp 564 photo cartridges; and more, HP 564 cyan (blue), yellow, and magenta (pink) 564s. The HP site had too many look-alike cartridges. So I'd sometimes order the wrong ones. My HP habit cost me hundreds of dollars every 3 months, since the cartridges got gobbled by my HP 7510! I bought yet more cartridges last month, only for my entire, HP 7510 to DIE! It saddened me at first. But I quickly felt relief, as I realized, I FINALLY am free from futile HP! I scooped up the dead junk, set it to my curb for garbage pickup, and gleefully, got a black-and-white all-in-one Epson machine recommended by Consumer Reports! Now I will save thousands of dollars and headaches, as I will get what I always really needed - a machine that will scan, copy, and print words/documents!

Gulp expensive inks. Very expensive running cost – It does printing but it gulps the expensive ink. Photo qualities are also not good. I am getting rid of this printer. It has Wi-fi, scanner and performs printing but I would not recommend it as an economical printer at all. Reliability is good because I am using it from past 4 years. HP ink cartridges are quite expensive.  Show details

Very Expensive to operate! – Ink cartridges don't last and are expensive! I only pint once a month or less and rarely ever photos. It seems it is always out of ink. I assume it dries up. The cost to replace the cartridges is around $35-50. I'm sure I've spent more on ink than the original purchase price of $150.

Worst printer – do not purchase this printer if you use it rarely. Each time I go to print can be a few months, the cartridges have I am guessing dried up so you need to replace them. The power cord has crashed it.... so in a nutshell. this printer costs money!

Worst Printer Ever! – This printer should be called Photodumb because it totally sucks at printing photo's! I have only had it for 3 months (after my HP Officejet Pro 8600 packed it in just 2 months out of warranty!) & now every photo is printing with a pink tinge. I even paid a small fortune for original HP ink cartridges but did that help? NO! I called their… Read more

Customer 'Serve-less' line & after an hour on the phone running this check & that (wasting more ink & paper) I asked to have it looked at by a professional tech. I was told I had to keep pulling this bit & that out of the machine which is way out of my league & comfort zone & that they wouldn't allow me to send it to be looked at until I acted as a Tech for them over the phone. In the end I told him I was not getting covered in ink &/or electrocuted over their disgraceful customer service & that they could jam it, I am now going to buy a Cannon! Nothing! Everything!

Great! Very happy with it.... while it lasted – This is a good machine and did a good job while it was working. Good quality printing which never jammed or gave me any grief. Easy to install the cartridges which last a reasonable time depending how much printing is done. The photo quality was pretty good as well and didn't use up all of the ink cartridge as I was expecting. But, it just didn't… Read more

last long enough! I purchased this hoping to get a good few years out of it but my machine only lasted just over a year. I suspected something might be up as the touch screen had also started to become unresponsive. Died on me just out of warranty which is quite disappointing. I wish it had more life as it was a good machine. Good quality printing, easy to use, nice photo quality Doesn't last long enough, cartridges are a little on the expensive side - $23 each roughly, black more pricey

Best Printer I have Ever bought – I like the LCD Panel which is a removal item. It paper tray system is seperate to the 6 x 4 photo prints you may want to print. It's got a compatible iphone app called HP Eprint from iphone straight to printer, wireless. Connects to all computers in the house for wireless printing from any device. Quality of print is good and quick. Doesn't… Read more ·  1

Just love it – Very easy to set up, including the wonderful printer email address. This allows you to email documents and photos directly to your printer from anywhere - and they are sitting neatly printed in the tray when you get home. Direct printing from Ipad and Iphone is very convenient. The wireless connection is reliable - it hasn't disconnected itself… Read more ·  1

once. It is fast, prints double sided, has a page feeder, a touch screen, usb input, scanner - everything I need. It doesn't have an ethernet port, which may be an issue if your wireless reception isn't reliable. Web features are included, which I browsed through but haven't used and probably never will. The touch screen is receptive and made set up much easier. It is big, not very portable and not a decorator item. Mine is hidden in a kitchen cupboard and still prints flawlessly with the cupboard door shut. It replaces my earlier model HP Photosmart which cost more, jammed often and regularly disconnected itself for no reason. I hesitated before getting another HP Photosmart, but just love it. Reliable wireless connection, E-Print, touch screen, direct print from Ipad/Iphone Big! No ethernet connection.
