If you're looking for a great Multifunction - Look elsewhere – The most frustrating printer I've ever had to deal with. As well as expensive ink cartridges, once inserted, the printer failed again and again to 'recognise' the NEW cartridge. I personally will never buy anything from the HP range ever again. A waste of money (though it seems quite reasonably priced when you buy it) but the quality is extremely poor. If you're looking for a great printer, avoid the HP range - the cost is not worth it in the end.

Had some real problems with my printer – I found significant issues with this printer, the quality of print wasn't up to scratch, the printer cartridges were expensive and I got lots of paper jams. Shortly after buying it, it stopped printing with yellow which resulted in a refund. What really disappointed me was that the money I lost on printer cartridges. When I went to a different brand I had too throw away $300 worth of cartridges. well featured Lots it had real problems

did you have problems because its not a wirlpool??? CHEAT ALERT!!! ^^^This guy obviously is a wirlpool stooge, if you go through all his reviews everything wirlpool gets 5 stars and every other brand gets 1 star. If this company has to resort to such tactics I shall avoid

Good – This is a good overall printer, scanner and copier. It's sturdy and works well for a long time. The only downside is the amount of ink it uses It's a scanner, photocopier and printer. It has a pop up screen to let you know what you've selected. Good, easy to use. Good scanning quality. You can insert memory cards (eg.camera memory cards) directly into the printer to upload and download pictures to and from the printer. It uses up quite a lot of ink. A new printer costs less than a new printer cartridge. The paper holder extender is easy to break.

Excellent – I'm very pleased with it. It does what it's meant to when it's meant to. It is as easy to use with a computer as without. Photos are excellent quality. Print speed is rapid. When I've run this one into the ground it's back to HP again for me. They haven't let me down yet. I purchased this product because my last printer was worn out. I went to a HP product again, because I'd bought a HP Pavillion computer package previously and was blown away by their customer service. e.g. a friend spilt wine in the keyboard & when I phoned HP they sent out a replacement keyboard within a few days at absolutely no charge to me. I had just phoned for advice on how to repair it...never expected them to offer a replacement, particularly since the damage was no fault of HP. Since I was looking for a printer which would do photo printing, in addition to documents, I had considered a Canon, but when it came down to it, I remembered the brilliant service I'd received from HP and how user-friendly their software and hardware is, so decided on the HP C4180. I was not disappointed. The HP Photosmart C4180 really is 'Plug & Play', not the horrible 'Plug & Pray' experience you get with many other brands. The ability to print, scan & copy with one piece of equipment, immediately upon install, with no fuss and bother is wonderful. It includes HP Photosmart Premier photo editing software, which is an excellent organisational tool. Arrange photos, create albums, cards, CD/DVD covers, etc. All very straightforward and easy to use. The variety of print settings, is good too. No wastage of ink on test-runs. Great variety of card reader ports too! Plus a very handy side storage panel for the photo-paper cartridge. It would have been nice to have included a fax, but then most people just email documents to each other these days, so not really a problem.

Excellent – Great Pruduct and extremely happy with the overall quality of this great item. Its a breeze to use and is a compact unit. Very easy to use and you don't even have to have your computer on to print expert quality photo's, Gerat photo copier and scanner aswell Nothing really , but the cartridges could be a fraction cheaper but as they say you only get (what you pay for) the quality with good genuine cartridges are second to none
