Good – This is a great all round printer, copier and fax. Prints great photos, relatively easy to setup and with its network functions you can connect numerous computers to the one printer. It does chew the ink when printing quaility photos though with multiple ink cartiages, its relatively cheap to replace them. Love this printer. Prints Great Photos, Wireless and network connectivity, print straight from camera or memory card plus scanner, fax and slide/negative copier. Frequent updates from HP, everyday it wants to update. Vista connectivity continued to drop out frequently and have to reload software, not a problem with windows 7

Good – Good printer except for the problem noted above. Next time I buy I would still consider HP multi function but would want to see a test run in the shop to make sure the printer can print to within 1cm of the foot of the page! Top quality phot prints. Good print speed. Very flexible print options. Good to have the 6 ink reserviors. My only but major complaint is that the printer doesn't like to print anything too low down on the (A4) page, like the footer or page number. Very frustrating. I have spoken to HP baout it but apparently there is little that can be done about it.

Excellent – HP printers are great, they are more expensive for the unit but they make up for this in the long term with the way the cartridges last for an acceptable 6 months of average or less than average printing use, this means less visits to get ink and less cost overall as opposed to my previous epsom that continually ran out of ink, even though epson advertise as economical cartriges, this is a fallacy as the cartriges dont last even half as long as the HP, I was so sick of having to get cartride, always running out when I needed it most, but I dont have to wrory bout that with this printer. It is great with the two sided printing as well not often found in other printers. It is much quieter and faster than my previous printer as well. Im really happy with this purchase. This is a great printer, economical on ink, fast printing, just does the job and not overly loud when printing.

Good – Continual problem with wanting to update all the time also keeps re loading as if I have just installed it. Currently have quarter of a blue icon on the bottom of my screen saying hp update, but because it is only a quarter can't actually hit yes or no. limited size paper tray, photo paper tray is limited also, if you have a big job or likely to want to print big jobs fairly often this would be a pain. overall quite happy with the end product excellent photo quality. cartridges becoming cheaper and now can by generic cartridges. Good looking many functions copy fax & scan also my favourite is the ability to copy my old slides and negatives. requests frequent updates which more often than not fail. continually trys to re install.

Good – I reccommend this to anyone who wants a simple no nonsence MFC.. Works flawlessly on my wireless network fully accessable from all stations on my network. Very low ink use and economical due to it's ink recycling system which saves wasting ink during head cleaning proceedures unlike other major brands. It's a runout model and can be bought for under $300 at the moment if you shop around.. The best MFC I have owned ! The photos from this baby are bloody fantastic. ( on Canon 250g/m semi gloss satin photo paper. Its a fast printer, a colour Fax , scanner and photo copyer.. Does everything well..Very economical on ink usage with 6 individual ink tanks. no duplexer, document feeder
