HTC Rhyme (2011)

Worst product experience of my life – I got an HTC Rhyme and found that it constantly defaulted to the wrong internet provider setting meaning that I had to re-set it if I wanted to do anything on-line. No-one could explain why so it was sent off for repairs. Meanwhile I received a large bill for usage that couldn't be explained. A month after sending the phone off it was finally returned but now I was unable to configure my email account, the experts at the shop had no success either and concluded the device was still faulty. Also, the original problem with internet access reappeared. The phone has been sent away again one day after it was returned from repairs. So after having no phone for a month it was returned to me with more problems than before. I have wasted hours trying to resolve these problems without satisfaction. I will never buy another HTC product.
It doesn't work. Poor repair service. No offer of a replacement.
Love this phone – I wanted this phone as soon as I discovered it had a glowing charm, alerting you to calls and messages. I usually have my phone in my bag or on silent so it really helps to know when a call or message is incoming. I love the docking station that I can use to play music or watch videos, all while charging it at the same time. The phone is slim, not too big which is another feature that drew me to it. The headphones are a let down though. They are cheap and keep popping out of your ears. They also pickup a bit of noise. Battery life is average (approx 1.5 days light use) and cannot be removed but the phone itself is really simple to use. Also love how you can turn it onto speakerphone just by turning it facedown. Just wish the Australian market had the purple model. Had to settle for blue. Love this phone! Nice size, looks good, glowing charm and docking station. easy to use Crappy earphones. battery not removable.
