Was the best phone ever – The best phone I ever owned! Best clearest photos, huge storage, toughest screens, lasting battery. Never any bugs, quick downloads. Maps were always spot on never missed a beat and i can't believe they don't make them any more Show details

HTC Sensation – Great phone in general. The camera is good but could do better on night shots. The speaker could be louder for listening to music or when talking to people using loud speaker. The size of the phone and the screen is perfect, not too big and not too small. The screen shows very nice images and it's great to have the flexibility of Android. The… Read more

phone can do so much more than I am even aware of but it the instruction book was not all that detailed unfortunately. The "beats audio" is fantastic too!! HTC isn't as "cool" so it's really good quality and sells for a good price. Very flexible, you can set it up how you like. Just the volume of the speaker really.

My first Smartphone – Well, I had to be talked into the new generation of phones, but I finally succumbed. My htc phone is pretty good, but it took me a few months to become comfortable with it and it does seem to have a lot of apps that I will never use and can become confusing. Great for games when waiting for the bus etc. Great camera. On the whole I like it, but… Read more

wish it was a little more user friendly. Camera, games, works well. Not particularly user friendly. The battery runs out very very quickly, particularly if using direction finding or playing games. I often need to recharge several times a day.

I Like It! – I've had my HTC sensation for nearly a year now and I still like it. I got it to replace my Touch Diamond 2 and its a hundred times better. Its quick and easy to use. I haven't had any problems with the screen or the camera and I found that it worked better when I did the systems update. The only problem I had was it started running a bit slow so… Read more

I just took out the battery and that seemed to fix the problem. The battery power is mediocre but I just make sure I recharge it every night. Great size, easy to use, love the HTC sense. Battery Power

not happy with the ICS update on this phone – the ICS , Ice Cream Sandwich software update is very poor on this model. i guess it was not intended for this model initially , but for people looking to get this phone as it is now a bit cheaper be wary that the update is buggy , lags and pretty poor. the phone really cant keep up. overall good out of the box not good for ICS update

Low Quality phone - replacements within warranty still problematic – I received my HTC sensation as a birthday gift last year and within 6 months, the problem started with a pixelated screen. Got it changed under warranty via Telstra at JB Hifi after 7 working days and the 2nd phone started rebooting itself every 30 minutes after a few days of use and the camera was giving green pixel lines when trying to focusing… Read more

(apparently this is a common problem with HTC sensation cameras). Had it sent in again to Telstra at JB Hifi and received the 3rd phone. After 2 months, the 3rd replacement phone went dead one morning after my normal morning wake-up alarm went off. The phone was totally dead and did not switch on even when battery's been fully charged. It has been sent in to Telstra again via the reps at JB Hifi which is not only time-consuming but troublesome! Even with the warranty, this phone is very problematic!! (or maybe it's just my bad luck!) Similar to other reviews, the battery life doesn't last long but is a bit better on the latest 'ice-cream sandwich' Andriod platform. Huge screen, right-sized smart phone, user-friendly Keeps failing/having issues even after numerous replacements during warranty period, Lousy battery life (on old Andriod platform), Mediocre camera quality

I like the one i have – Never had another smart phone to compare it to so i'll just comment on what i like about it. mine is the beats by dre version and first impressions, its a smart looking phone, far better looking than all my mates phones. the screen is bigger than my mates iphone and it looks better to. it has a nice slim profile its a really sexy phone. i love how… Read more

user friendly it is. like i say its my first smartphone and i pretty much got it sorted. bad things: ahh i went camping with my mate and i noticed he was getting coverage on his iphone and i got none on mt htc and we are both with the same provider. the speaker volume is not loud enough for me when im at work. and of course the battery life is horrible The design, user friendly, big screen, upgradable memory Battery life, coverage issues compared to my mates phone, speaker volume

Great phone - bad battery – My first smart phone after watching plenty of others use theirs. Nice big bright screen for reading emails an internet sites. Camera is good with filters and manual controls to adjust for light and white balance, but struggles in contrasting scenes. Access to all android apps and very good typing and predictive system. Standard battery life… Read more ·  1

absolutely sucks, but turn down screen brightness, remove systems running in background. Battery saver apps seem to work but the one i used affected internet use.

Battery upgrades available from $40 on ebay for 15% thru to $200 for 100%+ with fat backs which make it heavier. reliable, big screen, gr8 typing, good camera. Standard battery life appalling !! Get upgrade on ebay.

HTC Sensation – On the whole, it is extremely easy to use. The only thing is that the battery life is far too short, and you can be left high and dry if you are nowhere near an electrical outlet to recharge. This could be really improved. Other than that. I haven't encountered any problems. Sorry I forgot it is easy to hang up on someone and missed call… Read more

numbers unless they are in your address book cannot be retrieved. *10# would be good.

Update - The batter did explode early in 2017 and it was a close call. Would never buy another. Perhaps all androids and devices are capable of this. But now after my good review I would never purchase another one. It is Fun and I fell a little funky even though I am middle aged. The battery life

Very Happy with this phone – The HTC sensation is a great phone with a brilliant screen and fast processor so my kids can play all the high end games. It runs android and so can already run Icecream Sandwich OS which is very nice and gives much better battery life. The phone is durable, it survived being dropped from my pushbike with only minor scratches. HTC are very good… Read more

with backup and rang me a number of times when I had a problems with the camera which turned out to be a software problems and was fixed with an update. Camera is brilliant also. Much cheaper than Iphone
