Huggies Newborn Nappies

If you want to change their clothes 7 times a day these are for you! – If these was an option for zero that would be my review. NEVER have I experienced this amount of leakage!!! benefit of the doubt I would say I may of put on incorrectly but there have been multiple times they have leaked through with wee onto all his clothes. Making the night changes much more dreadful having to change outfits.

As we have over 300 pairs from baby shower we are forced to use these only during the day and are now using other brands for night times. I am shocked as we thought Huggies was the premium brand but are very mistaken as other brands there hasn't been any issues.

My sister who has 3 children who bought me some of the Huggies also said she bought them for us because she didn't want to seem cheap but said she also hates the brand as they also leaked out for her too. I guess the marketing guy needs a payrise.

Great nappy, but sizing is off – I too have to agree that these are my nappy brand of choice. They are soft, have excellent absorbancy and the leak protector on the back is excellent. legs begin to dig in. For example - the newborn nappy was outgrown at 3.5kg and the infant is getting tight at 6kg.

I can't help but wonder if this is a marketting ploy to appear have the same sizes as other brands, but force a move up to a box with fewer nappies.

The shift to ultimate from ultra dry occured between my two daughters. The ultimate nappies do feel softer, however this change seems to have come with a compromise on absorbancy. I've had a few leaks with this box which I hadn't with the ultra dry (I'm using both as they are supposedly the same size). If the end game is to shift all their product to ultimate (I found it very hard to get a non ultimate size 2) I will look to shift to another brand.

Awesome - up to a point – Really good nappies, and used them from birth as they were used by the hospital. Bub seemed to be un phased by them, and they were soft to the touch. atlantic ocean, which is handy as you don't need to change nappies and induce the wrath of a crying baby as often. When they did leak from a reconstituted diary explosion, the damage is controlled to a small area, unlike some other brands which ensure the poo circumvents the entire leg, and subsequent clothes.

Downside however, is that they state to be up to 5kg babies, but only if your baby is made out of lead. Had to upsize to infant within around 4 weeks, and was lucky enough to simply swap the extra box at the shop. They are far better quality than many other brands, and when on special are the best value, otherwise baby love is on par, albeit a little wide seeming in the crotch. The wetness indicator is a must for any nappy IMHO.

Other than that, is to me ,the go to brand..... at the right price.

Amazing quality – I find these the most amazing nappies for newborns. They are so soft on the skin. Really really good quality, no leaks or anything. I was sad when I had to change over to the next stage, as those weren't anywhere near that quality. Show details

Always reliable,never had problem – We have 4 children and tried so many product.Huggies and Babylove are the best performing ones. Never had leaking or rash with Huggies. Absorb more than other brands. We can sleep through not worrying about wetting bed. Show details

Ok but definitely not my preferred brand – When you do enough nappy changes you start to discover small things make all the difference. Like a few brands the nappies hold well but often I found when doing a change the tags would fold back on the nappy. This stops you wrapping it into a nice self contained package.

Terrible quality – Purchased a box of 108 infant nappies and have had 10nappys half way through box not adhering properly. Have contacted Kimberly Clark and have photos of proof but have not received a response. Wasted a precious $50 will never use again Show details

New zinc huggies – I received this product as a gift for my honest review. Very honest answers. Two mums can’t afford huggies and they thought it was a pleasant surprise when they did try them. The zinc ones I believe aren’t any different to the normal origins ones in my opinion. We use them exclusively at the moment. But yes, I will buy the zinc ones to see if they continue to not give my girl any rashes.

completely gone! I think this is terrible considering these nappies are so expensive. They need to change what they are putting on their nappies. I will not use these again.

Leaks often – Have used two brands so far. Baby love and Huggies. For us, there are clear gaps in the Huggies newborn nappies which leak often., just now had a huge leak all over me. Not suitable for over night use – I have found that these nappies leak during the night for my newborn. Several times this week I've had to change my babies clothes and bedding after only 1-2 hours of wearing these. Show details

Leaks – Very unimpressed. I've always heard great things about Huggies and we're very kindly gifted quite a few packs for our baby shower. So far we've had nothing but leaks. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong but we switched to Babylove and haven't had any issues.

sagging.very inconvenient. I actually did not want to buy huggies anymore when I found out they will be produced in China. But my partner bought them. So I just used them. Clearly I was right not to buy them in the first place. Why did they have to move the manufacturing to China....China....20 years of trust gone. Bye bye.

Newborn Ultimates VERY poor quality – I bought these for my daughter's newborn son and she was also gifted some from friends. She has discovered that those still saying made in Australia are ok but if not they leak within 2.5 hours for a 1 week old baby. own ability to put a nappy on the baby until she experimented with other brands and realised that it was only these Huggies Ultimates that leaked EVERY time. Hopefully Huggies realise that cheaping out with overseas production and subsequent poor quality will ultimately (no pun intended !!) lose them more money than they are saving. My daughter will now NEVER buy Huggies again. She has already found that even homebrand newborn nappies are better than the "new and improved" Huggies. Corporate greed is likely to backfire on the company... What a shame... She is moving to Modern Cloth Nappies (MCNs) which will be better for baby, her budget and the environment.

Great nappies l – I found these nappies to be fantastic. They fit my new born baby well and didnt leak I found that they looked comfortable and and I didnt have any issues with nappy rash. I would recommend them as great value for money.

No leaks – Absorbent nappies, easy to use and change. Has leak proof sides protecting from leaks. Very well fitted for my newborn, easy to use for first time parents. Going through these very quickly with baby still on milk... sorry Mother Earth :( Show details
