A great run – Finally got our first problem - the drain hose has a hole in the exit - after 8 years and keeping the filters cleared will replace this and 'have had our monies worth out of this unit' happy and impressed appears to be running satisfactorily in every other way, very happy! Does everything I want Still waiting
Rubbish – Purchased as part of KC kitchen installation. First breakdown was within first 4 weeks of installation, took six weeks to repair. 2nd breakdown six months later, only four weeks to repair. 3rd breakdown was just before warranty expired (12 month). Insisted dishwasher be replaced after four weeks & 2 attempts to repair. Dealing with IAG for… Read more
warranty issues is an exercise in sheer frustration. Must rinse all dishes before placing in dishwasher, even then there's no guarantees your dishes will be clean. It leaks for no apparent reason and doesn't dry cups/mugs or plastics properly. Would never buy another IAG product EVER!! Dishwasher is three years old, have just purchased a Bosch and can't give the IAG away! Matched the kitchen decor Unreliable, appalling customer service, doesn't clean, noisy, unsuitable configuration...
Another IAG disaster – Was installed as part of a Kitchen Connection Kitchen, i was led to believe that IAG were quality products....i should have done more research. This dishwasher broke down 4 weeks after it was installed. The after service repairs were excellent, but that was the Repair Service Company, and not a reflection on IAG at all. The dishwasher then lasted… Read more
another 18 months and gee what a suprise..( 1 month out of warranty) the same problem occured again. It wasnt worth fixing, the part was too expensive. I cut my losses and replaced it with a Miele.
Best thing i ever done. I have the cooktop and oven from IAG also...both died just after warranty expired. IAG are cheap and nasty and i would forget the absolute junk that the sales people at Kitchen Connection tell you. IAG are useless!!!
Below Average performance, Breaks often, fiddly to work on – This machine was built into our kitchen when we bought the house. It has been a constant struggle to get this machine to clean properly. The top rotating spray has been particularly difficult. The seal to the side of the machine disintegrated and had to be replace. The top rack itself sags a bit so its hard to push it properly into the seal. … Read more
The top spraying often clogs with debris and must be cleaned. What a headache. Then the door latch interlock failed, burnt out. Replacing was such a pain. fiddly design made even something simple as a door latch difficult. Sharp edges, tons of small screws, difficult to reinstall... etc. Recently the entire spraying systems as marginal, ended up cleaning out the filters in the bottom. I don't remember having to do so much work on any other dishwasher I've ever owned before.
Poor performance, poor reliability, poor serviceability. What's left?
Terrible – Total rubbish. I wish I'd tried harder to get a bigger discount from KC rather than the "free" dishwasher. We gave away a perfectly good Dishlex when we got the new IAG dishwasher. That was a bad mistake! Came "free" with my KC kitchen. Delivered with the wrong basket which made it impossible to pull out the basket when loaded with dishes. Took 4… Read more
calls and 5 weeks to get a replacement. It has a really long wash cycle (even on fast wash) - it takes nearly 3 hours. Has just broken down one month after the expiry of its 2 year warranty - gets stuck mid cycle and keeps running - the cycle would go on forever if I wasn't home to turn it off. After reading other reviews, I won't bother to get it reapired but will buy another brand.
Bad – I wish I had read some of the reviews of this product before agreeing to have it installed as part of the KC package. The stainless steel paneling near the control panel came loose after around twelve months. I rang KC and they suggested I glue it back on which I did. The plastic coated wire dish trays are flimsy, one of the racks has broken and… Read more
is now starting to rust, the door catch is also very flimsy and needs to be treated with great care as it is plastic and does not appear very robust. If I had to choose one word to describe the product it have to be 'cheap'. While it works it is not something I would recommend. Cheap and flimsy.
Terrible – Ridiculous. Regret getting it. Only got it as a kitchen upgrade with an oven. Must say the oven wasnt a let down which was surprising. Go get an ASKO or some other brand name you know. Loud, takes ages (hours) to do a wash. The little compartment that holds the dish powder/ball comes open during the wash stage when its not meant too so you lose your powder and powerball.
Good – Overall the dishwasher is easy to use, looks clean and has a very easy to clean front. The dishwasher produces good results with Finish 5 in 1 power ball. The dishwasher operated faultlessly for just over 2 years before breaking down. Fits well into my kitchen, sleek lines, easy to keep clean front. The timer / selector switch is sometimes stiff and it feels like you have to force it. You can open the door when it's running.
Terrible – Never ever again would I buy IAG products. Our oven is IAG, and its just as bad. The oven is always 50 degrees hotter than what is stated on the temperature knob! CRAP! Everything. As with almost every other review here, it was part of a kitchen package. We were told by this particular kitchen company IAG were an Italian brand made in Italy.… Read more
Found out later, they are Italian design, but made in China! Noisy, slow, plastic starting to go brittle, doesnt always clean dishes properly, had the pump replaced 3 times. As from two days ago the door doesnt catch anymore. Going out today to buy a decent dishwasher.
Terrible – Part of KC kithcen. The bottom tray runs off the ledges if it is the slighest bit out of balance, practically have to weigh dishes to get it right. The cutlery basket does not fit correctly. I have had it for 2 weeks now and would seriously consider replacing it if I had the cash. NEVER buy IAG...NEVER! Nothing at all As per the other reviewers, and interesting that in 2007 the reviews were positive. It is an absolute abomination
OK – Would not prefer over Blanco, Bosch (had the S610 for 25 years) or Electolux but good machines and service, inexpensive make for quality sleek Italian look though made in China (2 on end of product name, Italian made have 1 on end), works well and other buyers seem to like it, 55dB slightly noisy
