Just ok – You would think that Icandy is a good brand of pram, well i thought it was suppose to be, be aware, this is not a good brand nor is it a bad brand. My Icandy apple runs just ok, but the minute anything falls apart, Icandy will endeavour to charge you for any repair request weather in or out or warranty period. The pram functions OK. Shopping… Read more

basket snapped, I have not been advised there is a weight limit, Tobil (Icandy) accused me overloading it. Tyre valve broken, I am advised to either buy a new part from them + postage, or take it to a local bike shop. Yes, I purposely unscrewed the cap and stuck a pin in to break the valve so I can buy a new one!!!!

iCandy was awesome but you will out grow it – As a new baby - Harrison. The icandy was great to interchange the baby basonet then into the normal stroller. I love the sliding bar that you can adjust as I have long legs and often would hit the bar / wheels. The only downside is if you are an a big shopper the pram is very big. I find that if we are going on a day trip I will take the iCandy… Read more

if it is for a small shop I will take the tiniest stroller to fit in the shopping isles. Flexibility from baby to todler its quiet heavy and wide - but solid

Nice pram, comfortable for bubs – I have had my iCandy Apple for 14 months now and its been great. In the earlier days, I used the a safe n sound baby capsule and with the purchase of an adapter, I was able to take the capsule straight in/out of the car and clip it into the pram. This was very very handy when bubs was asleep. Probably its best feature in my opinion. Another… Read more

great feature is that the handle is height adjustable which is great for my husband as he is 6'2".

Nowadays I find that its easier to use a smaller umbrella style stroller or the supermarket trolley when popping into the shops as the iCandy is a quite large. But whenever im out walking I always use the iCandy. I have also done some light jogging with it as well and it travels ok.

Overall a great pram if your in the market for a larger type (such as a Strider, City Select etc). But in all honesty if I had my time again I would probably save the money and buy a much cheaper pram from Target or the likes because ive really only used it during the first 6-12 months of my child's life. But ill definitely be hanging onto it for use with any further children. Great looking, Removable seat, forward or rear facing, car capsule is able to be connected (with an adapter), comfortable ride Tyres go flat periodically but easy to pump up, collapsing mechanism sometimes gets sticky and needs a bit of spray lube

Not ideal for 2 heavy weights! – After researching all the double strollers I decided on the pear for 2 main reasons 1. I did not want 1 of my kids traveling so close to the ground so this pram has the child underneath nice & high 2. I didn't want a pram that was too wide that I wouldn't be able to fit through check outs & shopping aisles. Whilst it met these 2 main reasons well… Read more

the down fall came when my children weighed a combined approx 25kg and over. You need to have some good upper body strength to steer this pram. Even then the wheels get a little stuck & you have to give it a big push to get going. After using a mountain buggy for so long we never got used to this pram which was a shame. Kid doesn't travel so close to ground, can fit through shopping aisles easily, can fit in boot easily as comes apart, can be used as a single but child faces you if you buy seats to face forward when used as double Hard to steer & push to get going with 2 kids in pram, can't fit anything in basket when used as double, expensive

Does what I need but bulky – When choosing a pram I was after a pram that I could jog with, that the baby could face towards or away. The iCandy and the quninny was the only pram that offered this, my partner preferred the iCandy as he felt it was sturdier. The basinet was huge and roomy(although really heavy), we used it as her basinet for the first month. BUbs loved it.… Read more

The sunshade is a must as the sun canopy doesn't provide great coverage, but also handy to darken the environment and keep out the bugs, as we live near the river this is a big issue.

Being able to have bubs face me is awesome. I can jog or walk and she can see me and i don't have to stop every time she makes a fuss and walk around to the front. The seat is super comfy. I borrowed a Phil and Ted pram and a baby jogger one and this seat is by far the most comfy and supportive for bub. It is big so infants could do with a head support to top them being bounced around.

The cons unfortunately are many

Costly

Bulky and takes up all my boot space

The jogger wheel has terrible maneuverability, really hard tomove out of the way quickly I.e. letting someone through.

Sun canopy is hopeless

Do not hang heavy shopping on handlebar as the chassis has unfolded whilst I've been pushing it twice! Scary!

Can be too wide for many shop stores.

All the extras which are expensive

Rotating from lying to sitting, the buttons tend to stick and can be tricky

No pram is perfect. The apple suits us as I walk / jog a bit and I know bubs is comfortable. Will be looking for a more lightweight easy to maneuver pram for everyday shopping though. Comfy for bubs, alternate facing, all terrain, can by double (expensive thoug) relatively sturdy.. Icall it my jeep pram Quite a bit unfortunately see above !

Biggest waste of money – I was so excited when i brought this pram but and becoming more and more disappointed every time i use it. The pram basket catches in the wheels when folded down so when you go to open it you have to physically pry the wheels out of the basket. The pram is not at all light by any means and this is just an added complication when trying to put it… Read more

up.

The chassis is not at all sturdy and is very wobbly, it also steers to the right when pushing.

The bassinet attachment fitted fine but now we have changed to the seat the grey buttons at the side are jamming when you try and recline the seat with the baby in it ( mind you he is only 8 kgs so I can only picture it getting worse as he gets bigger)

As for as the customer service received from Tobil pty ltd ( the importer) that too has been dismal. They have asked that we ship the pram back to them ( at our cost) for them to look at. The staff member I spoke to was far from helpful.

We have only been using the pram for seven months and for the price we paid including the bassinet ( $1299) I expected a more quality product.

Expensive for the quality of product, bad warranty service, heavy

Love the look and feel of this pram! – I was going to buy a bugaboo but weighing up the cost this did seem the better buy and I'm happy with my decision. I love the colour combo's you can choose, the size of the shopping basket is decent, it fits through all the isles in most shops, steers great and looks stylish! I love that my child can face me or look out at the world and the height… Read more

of the seat is great for an older child. I didn't purchase the bassinet as I had the safe n sound unity car capsule you can use with the pram. This was a godsend when my little one fell asleep in the car. He is now 6 months old and the seat is very comfortable for him and can recline if he needs a nap while we are out. It's a very comfortable east to use pram that you would not be dissappointed with!! love everything about this pram! the seat can be a little stiff to put in different positions sometimes but nothing to worry over!

Converted to iCandy! – Hi I have own an iCandy Apple and Pear and cannot fault them. Apple has been great for walks around the block and everywhere, while the Pear due to wheels not needed to be pumped, is best around the shops. You can turn them with one hand, very easy and smooth steering. Pear is extremely easy to fold, one button push action, fold in half (the base)… Read more

and then has a strap where you can just pick it up and put in the boot. Some would say the downfall is that it is in 2 parts, the seat and wheels but it takes two seconds to unclip your seat and it is more space efficient being able to lie it down on the base. Quality cannot be faulted, colours are very trendy that the Pear comes in. The matching baby bags are amazingly big and have so many compartments and fit perfectly at bottom. The seat can be adjusted in 3 positions, flat, tilted and upright. I would recommend this pram to all my friends and would never consider another. Lightweight in two parts, easy to fold, easy to unfold, perfect easy steering, fashionable & safe Nothing I found to be wrong, I would say a downfall would be the price :( but wouldnt we all love everything to be cheaper with babies!!!

Excellent – I really love this pram. I have two others but this one is always my first pick. I love having my baby facing me and then being able to turn the seat around so that she can sit up at the table with us when we are out. She loves having the bumper bar across the front to hang toys from or just to pull herself forward. It is really lovely to steer… Read more

and is narrower than most prams yet there is heaps of room in the seat. The basket is a good size and you can use the foot rest to "pin" extra shopping in. It is great for walking over fairly bumpy ground especially when you lock the front wheels and the baby has a pretty smooth ride. It steers beautifully and is very comfortable for my child. It takes a higher weight limit so I can put my older child in when necessary. I love being able to choose the different coloured hood and liners. The fold down is really easy and clever. It is very easy to reverse the seat and recline it. The shape of the seat means that my daughter transfers from her car seat to the pram asleep 98% of the time and stays asleep. The raincover got a split in the seam after 2 uses but it hasn't affected how it works. The hood doesn't come down quite far enough when the seat is reclined. Basket is a little hard to access when seat is reversed but you can easily flip up the foot rest.

Happy with purchase – Out of all the prams we looked into this seemed like the right one for us. The seat can be used with bubs facing towards or away from you, it can be used from birth (however a padded head cradle may be needed for the first few weeks to stop their head bobbing around), the wheels are sturdy enough for off-road use which we needed as there are no… Read more

footpaths where we live and a jogger wheel can be purchased and replace the two front wheels if necessary, it is light enough for me to pick up and put in the car (however it is fairly bulky), it's easy to fold down and up again although it does require a bit of force and a special technique which can be mastered easily and the basket is big enough to carry a few bags of shopping and, it can be converted to a double later (although that's just as expensive as buying a new pram)

I was orginally refused this pram at $899 by my husband but luckily got it vastly on sale at a baby expo.

I'm happy with this purchase, it's done everything so far although I am starting to find a few niggly little things, like the hood comes out when taking it in and out of the car because of poor design and the grey buttons that let the seat out and rotate it into a laying down or upright position do seem to be a bit sticky but that hasn't affected us too much yet.

The straps are also a bit of a pain I've discovered as well. They only shrink down to a certain point so to get it small enough for a newborn and even now for my boy who is 3 months old the straps have to be kind of looped around eachother which makes them fit really poorly and dig into my boys tummy and shoulders a bit.

We got the black cover and in high heat like where we live it can get so so hot because it absorbs the heat terribly and luckily this pram can convert to different 'flavours' so we're going to buy a new cover for next summer, probably the ice blue

Overall I really like this pram, I give it 4 stars for the versatility of it despite a few niggly issues. It's hard to find a decent pram for a decent price and this is the closest we could personally get as they seem to go from cheap and nasty to outrageously expensive. Versatility of the pram (in a big way)- has ticked all the boxes for what we were looking for, seat can be facing out or towards you, easy to steer, seat is comfortable for my baby, handle can be moved up and down to suit the driver, can go off-road and steers easily even on grass - we've even had it on the beach in firm sand, the security bar can be removed for easy access, the brake is super easy to use Acessories are expensive, the straps are a bit of a pain, the handle is padded with a type of foam and can't be replaced so I'm a bit worried in our hot climate sweaty hands will make it a bit smelly, sunshade isn't very well ventilated so in over 40degree heat it can get very hot (this may be the case for all prams, I don't know I've never owned another)
