Quiet and powerful – Ideal replacement .easy access to fastening points .Motor is quiet for ducted Option,recirculating is a bit noisier . Excellent ,easily removed 2 screen filters ,aluminium metallic mesh .Powerful Three speed motor gives great command to cooking options . Only slight criticism are the two incandescent light bulbs but may be replaced by LED . David Tsai

Atrocious repair service - no fault of repair man – I have a E71/G90 range hood for about one and a half years and the switch broke down. A solder point in the circuit board "melted" under load - not an uncommon problem with cheap outsourced circuit boards. I once had the same problem with an Electrolux dishwasher. Repair man came a week ago without the part, which has to be ordered from Sydney. As of the time of writing, I still have not been contacted. My email to them a few days ago went unanswered. It took them almost a week between my first service call and the repair man's visit. All up, I am without a functioning unit for almost two weeks and counting.
Disgusting.
No idea who they are. But my service call reference: Eurolinx Service Call - 6918. Could it be Eurolinx?
Got a call from service agent. Sounds like they never ordered the part until ILVE Customer Care chased them up. It appears the part will not arrive Melbourne until next week and then will take another few days to book me in. How efficient?
Will ILVE Customer Care care to comment on a three week wait - if they fix it when they show up? Mind you, it is merely a simple switch that needs to be replaced and one would expect it stocked in Melbourne.
Another five days, nothing from Service Agent: Gas Pro about spare part. Can't believe such bad service. Will never buy another ILVE product.
I now want to change the star rating to ZERO. Webmaster, can you do it for me?
If Gas Pro still does not come up with the part in the next couple of days, ILVE should consider replacing the faulty unit and have it re-installed.
Terrible, fat dripping of 2 month old unit – Rangehood installed as part of a new home build. Smell and fumes throughout our open plan kitchen, ILVE serviceman says it is extracting 'properly' even though fat dripping off unit which is only 2 months old. Not at all the 'quality' that is advocated. First service we were told it had not been flued correctly so builder called back, Flue now ducted to the outside by builder but no change so clear that this unit is not fit for open plan wok cooking.
Dear Knockdown and rebuild, I'm sorry to learn of your experience. At Ilve we market a number of range hoods. The model you have selected is the one with the lowest air flow specification in our range and although it suits basic requirements, it would appear that in your case it's not quite powerful enough. Please contact us via customercare@eurolinx.com.au if you 'd like to explore replacing it with one of our more powerful models at a nominal charge.

We didn't select the model, the builder did, it was an upgrade from the standard model Boutique install. They knew we had selected the Ilve dual wok burner and we upgraded the sink to accommodate our wok, our mistake for trusting that our Rangehood upgrade would be suitable for purpose. waste of money and breach of trust with both the builder and the product.
Excellent – This fan really does the job, unlike other fans that recirculate greese, with this one you can smell the difference. Easy to clean
