Our house finishing was so smooth and impressive job done
I am impressed by their service and quality of house, our house is 5 years old but during this period our all concerned heard by them. Best customer service and well build our house. Even our neighbours said, why they did not build through them when saw our house. thamk you impressions Show detailsSales was great and then it went downhill
The sales rep and contracts rep were great, I would rate them a 4. However, our pre-start and electrical were super robotic and rushed where a fair bit of detail was missed which caused a lot of back and forth and extra work later, I would rate them a 2. If you are planning on relying on the expertise of the pre-start or electrical reps, I would warn against this as our reps did not offer any suggestions or recommendations (which I think is very important if you are building). We were then into construction and I would rate their customer serv... ice and responsiveness a 1. This stage caused us the most stress and uncertainty. We never had a response back to our emails/calls until we followed-up. Later in the construction, we noticed that the work quality was pretty average and again lots of little things which are great value-add were not even considered in their standard. Every time I had the standard response 'we built as per Australian standards' so every time I got the feeling that they meet the standards just and provide zero value add for their customers. I would definitely not rate Impressions as a mid-tier builder, in my opinion due to their lack of customer centred approach, I would rate them lower than our basic-tier first home builder. We've got our keys last week and feel so relieved. I am more than happy to offer feedback and suggestions to the team at Impressions and point out things you could have done better to add some value to a new home and make this whole experience at lot more happier and less-stressful.Not very impressed with impression
Not very impressed with the Impression salesman. He promised us too many inclusions but turned out not to be. We paid $83k for the siteworks and expected there would be green titles for both houses as promised by the salesman, but soon found out that they were survey strata titles. It was our fault because we didn’t check the contract carefully and shouldn’t rely on the salesman. It was our first built so we didn’t have much experience but after all of this, we have learnt a lot.The building was okay. Happy with [name removed], the builder su... Impressed in the beginning
So, it has been ok and impressive in the beginning. Romano designed our house really well. He was with us till late nights, patient and very accommodating. Jessica took over. She was lovely to deal with. Excellent service. When construction began, we had Jasmine and Rodney as our supervisor. It all went well and smooth and we were truly impressed...UNTIL we had a change of client liaison and site supervisor at the start of lock up stage. Progress since then was really slow with almost no updates from the client liaison (unless we asked ... Read more- even then, we didn't get a reply or if there was, much later). Our build should have been finished end of November, but we didn't get PCI done till end of January. Even then, handover happened 6 weeks after PCI - repairs/rectification were minor but somehow took very long. We have had a few issues since the change of client liaison and site supervisor. We had in writing saying we were entitled to leftover bricks, pavers and tiles by the former client liaison and confirmed by our then site supervisor. We collected the bricks - but overtime, it was discarded. The leftover pavers - not sure what happened to them. It was missing from the garage - which was left open during lock up (why?). The tiles - they were kept for us in the theatre room locked in the house but at PCI - they were all nowhere to be seen. Nevermind the bricks and pavers - but the problem now is, tiles do get discontinued over time. So if we ever need to replace a tile or two, we will have a problem. As it is, the supplier has told us, one of our tiles have discontinued. And it is costing us $300 for few pieces of spare tiles (because its not builders problem if these were stolen - at lock up? hmmmm) Nevertheless, we have now moved into our new home. It is beautiful but we're starting to notice some quality issues - one of them, clear comparison between affinity windows and Jason windows, plastering not done well - we find walls not straight/level, likewise the floors etc. Client Liaison has been quite responsive attending to our post handover rectification which we are really thankful of. However, there's still more pending (our taps are still leaking). Overall, it is a good build with a good looking elevation. Quality materials (bricks, floor and wall tiles, good tiling workmanship, quality appliances (Smeg) but with not so good workmanship/finishing touches. Are we very satisfied - we can't say we are totally.Great from start to finish
Impressions designed a one off concept to suit our needs as a family. The process was smooth and easy from start to finish and built in a timely period. We are delighted with the house and would definitely recommend Impressions to anyone considering a house and land package. Thanks Impressions. Show details · 1Best build - ever
Impressions are impressive. Sorry about the pun but it is true. This is my 5th build (first with Impressions) and the best and easiest build ever. There were no issues during construction apart from discontinued laminex and flooring but that wasn't Impressions fault.
The supervisor was on the ball and at the end of the construct he ensured we got handover as quickly as possible.
Both construction and finish are to a very high standard. We have no issues at all and that is surprising with a house build.
Well done Impressions. Show details · 1
A GOOD BUILD
We had purchased a block that had a fair bit of slope front to rear & side to side. After a thorough evaluation process of our own design with a number of builders, we engaged Impressions to build a one-off custom designed house. We also engaged an independent building inspector. The initial design/redesign & costing phase with our design consultant, Vinzi, was excellent with very prompt and accurate responses. The construction manager, Allen, and Estimating Manager, Russ, both took time out of their schedules to visit our block. Their time a… Read more · 1
nd suggestions were helpful and much appreciated. The next phase leading up to construction was laborious and took much longer than it should have - in excess of 9 months! There were a variety of reasons for this but suffice to say that, although we did make design amendments along the way, responses from the builder's staff were often slow and a number of errors were found in various documents/drawings relating to the build. Promised pricing of items was also not forthcoming in a timely manner. Construction to practical completion took about 16 weeks which was excellent for a house of approx 300sqm and reflects very well on the organisational and coordination skills of the supervisor, Lindsay. Like any construction there were problems encountered during the build, however it is the willingness and attitude of the builder/supervisor to rectify the issues as they arise that is critical. We were very happy in this regard. A number of issues requiring rectification were also found at practical completion and these were remediated promptly. Overall we are very happy with the standard of construction. The 6 month maintenance period ended recently. There were a number of items identified that required attention and our thanks go to the maintenance team for their work. We were very pleased with the response, communication and rectification works done. We would build again with Impressions.A beautiful journey with Impressions
We are happy with our new house build and so far enjoying every every aspect of it. The journey with impressions team was good from the sales team. Our sales consultant was very helpful in designing the house we requires. However, when it came to the pre start, it was bit of a disaster for us with council requirements. At a stage we had to believe that impressions were not aware of our council requirements which took so long for us to get the building permit. But the designing team were flexible with our requirements and they amended the plan several times to meet our requirements. End of the day, it was worth the wait and impressions have come up with our dream home. Show details · 1Very good . Especially kitchen applianes are awesome
Yes we are happy with building. But we had 24 weeks guarantee for construction and they did it 28 weeks. But finally all went well. Our cost was firm throughout the building. Tiling was not done in right time. Finally they managed to finished it. Company handled every thing in a proper way. Show details · 1Our dream House

The worst building experiance ever
Impressions talk to you very nice at the start to take you in and they shows you all the fanciness and win you with all their inclusions. But! But, when it's come to the building, it is the worst. They always try to cut corners and gives you had times.I built 3 houses at once, and below were few of lots of big issues;
- After finalizing the plan but I was asking to change one thing, drafting department change many other things without notifying me. This has happened to all my houses and for one, they said that they wanted to lift the front se... Read moret back on the garage as per council. So I approved it. Then they have reduced my living and dinning as well without notifying me. They haven't change the total area on you plan so you don't notice. When I realize, it was too late and I had to live with very small living and dinning. - They have completely attached one house foundation to another and missed the foundation for the garage. Lucky, I caught that on time. - The quality of plastering was very poor and you can see waves on my walls. - Workmanship of sarking was very poor. - I my front entry door is not enclosed, but they rejecting to fix the issue saying no issues found. You even can see outside light from inside after you closing the door. - I got huge amount of flies come inside the house through windows when they are shut. You still can see huge amount of flies stuck in-between fly-screens and windows. unfortunately they are rejecting to fix the problem saying there is no issue found. So, the impressions build fly house for me. - Roof tiles are cracked but when informed they are rejecting to fix them saying the relevant contractors visited site and did the roof work. It doesn't matter how many time they came to the site, but the issue should be fix. I did not have private worker went on roof to do any private work. But it is impression's workers came in several times after hand over until last month to do their missing work on roof. - Scullary exhaust had left without ducting to the roof and one of the maintenance guy caught it later. - Scullary exhaust not extracting fumes away as the huge amount of cooking fumes still floating inside the house. They still unable to fix the problem and says there is no problem found. My children cough when we cooking. - Front gutters are overflowing massively and their remedy was to closes the weep holes on the gutter, which is not a fix as the water overflow over the gutter. yet to fix this. - Door handles gone off level. - They always try to put all the blame back to me. They gave me lots of hard times from the beginning and it's been a year since the handover and still a nightmare to get things right. They maybe bit cheap because they supply everything their own as they are one group. This may be the disadvantage for you as they may trying to cover their supplier at the end. Highly recommend not to build

The build was managed well and every stage of the build was communicated clearly to me. This was is our first home and from the consultant Rick Allan to the Prestart with Rachel Burgers and to the final inspection with Marco the site supervisor, all was smooth and the people at impressions have been great. Rick understood what i initially wanted and was very helpful and knowledgeable and designed the perfect home for us. Show details · 1We are in good hands

This was the first home we have ever built and it was daunting at the start but all the staff especially our sales consultant Mike and our Site Supervisor Steve made the experience predominantly stress free. The workmanship was of high quality and we were able to identify and correct issues easily as Steve was very accessible and responsive to our queries and concerns. We had a few issues at practical completion but these were relatively minor and addressed quickly. My input well included and perfected. Professionalism is beyond doubt, all inclusion as stated on marketing are absolutely true. Service is prompt and no cost on contract was spot on. We are currently building with impressions and I’d be keen to know who is responsible for providing updates and who should we be contacting with any questions? Since a recent reassigning of our liaison and supervisor we have had to chase on multiple occasions to even get any update, not happy with recent interactions to say the least.
