Insystem DAB+

Very good for the price, but – I bought this from Officeworks for $22, much cheaper than any other DAB+ radio I'd seen. I had checked out the reviews here and based upon the positive reviews, I thought I'd give it a go. I wanted a cheap digital radio as I thought that the ABC was no longer broadcasting the cricket commentary on analogue anymore, only on ABC Digital Grandstand. (I have discovered that this is incorrect, the cricket is still on ABC analogue, but digital should be - I hope - clearer than AM.) I planned on listening to the cricket while I worked so I needed a DAB+ radio with a headphone socket so I didn't disturb my co-workers. Given that the Officeworks website says that it has one, I thought this would be perfect. The fact that it didn't run off batteries wouldn't matter as I could plug it into a power point at my desk. Unfortunately, this radio does not have a headphone socket, which means I'll be returning it this afternoon. Other than that, I thought that the radio was very good and I would recommend it as long as (1) you don't need a radio that runs off batteries, and (2) you don't ever need to use headphones. If I didn't need to use headphones, I would have given it 5 stars.

Not perfect, but at $33... Wow! – Simple to use, great sound quality, small footprint and price is only $33. I highly doubt that there is a port under the speaker grill, but no problem, the sound from this is pretty good for such a small little radio. Highly recommended if you dont need to move it around much (since its mains power only) Price, controls, sound Mains power only, no headphone out

Surprise – Only required basic replacement so I could listen to SBS chill.Was surprised at the sound and attractiveness for under $50.User manual and display informative - my last model didn't have - simple to follow.The speaker and dimensions of the set combine for clean,strong sound.Nice price but not el cheapo quality. Sound Not portable

Perfect! – Compact, attractive and easy to use with an excellent sound quality! Very affordable. Will be buying more to give as gifts. Only con is that it doesn't take batteries so I can move it from room to room. Perhaps I will just have to buy one for every room. As the price was so reasonable I was expecting a basic product but it's perfect! Inexpensive, compact size, looks good Not portable
