Truck – Great little truck for installing Stone bench tops, brought a 2010 K2900 second hand after driving a k2700 Around for a few years For a company I worked for at the time.
Purchased in for $5,000.
- Transmission: Continuously Variable (CVT)
- Bought: Used
- Year: 2010
Definitely worth considering – This little truck has the power the Kia 2700 missed out on .As long as your carrying decent weight it won't bounce and kick. The tray is at a good height for load and unload. Rubber placed on top of gates and bushes positioned at rear and sides is smart. Turning circle is good, and traveling through winding, hilly terrain good. When considering a second hand work vehicle.Check one out.
Good – Very happy with the K2900, I just wish it had cruise control, and could take a longer and or wider body. A big improvement over the K2700, with the power to handle hills and accelerate when fully loaded, with no downside as far as fuel goes. It has a good turning circle, and feels far more stable on the road than the K2700. For the price there is nothing quite like it. The tray size is a bit of a compromise, being 1 1/2 pallets wide and 2 1/2 pallets long, which limits what can be put on it. The same limitations apply to a custom body. It has enough go, that a cruise control would be really useful.
