and raised my concerns with your sales person. She suggested to rotate the mattress and give it go for an other week, if problem persists then we could replace or return this mattress. We rotated the mattress two times in first 15 days but the back pain was worsened with stiffness in my upper back and shoulders. We called at Forty Wink and explained the situation and wanted to return this mattress ASAP because I was suffering badly from sleeping on it. I was again advised to keep sleeping for another week and one of their sales representative will come down and have a look at the mattress and see why it was not supporting us. Another week later Forty winks manager came home and asked us to show him how we sleep. Instead of resolving the issue he provided me with strange suggestions. E.g Sleep on you back, put your legs wide apart while sleeping, sleep with pillow between your legs. I requested to the Forty wink to exchange me with the different mattress and i will be happy to pay the difference, or alternatively refund the money. Any way my back pain is worsening which has affected my sleep quality badly and I am still got no resolution. Now me and my wife both having same problem. A.H beard company called me and asked me if I was happy, they will pick up the mattress and repair it at company after that they will return to me .But I am not happy to keep a repaired mattress while I have lost trust from this mattress brand within few weeks of buying.

Each to their own – Best thing you can do is find out for yourself, dont trust internet reviews. Be realistic about your body first. Then i slept well, so well that i wake warm evenly all over, i wake up only two or three times not seven or eight times a night. I dont wake from hip pain and my hip problems are passing.

My scoliosis is no where near as bad now, same with feet, standing on floor first thing used to be painful, not anymore.

I am a 5'10" male, sharing bed with just cats, i weigh 68-75 kgs on average and have a medium frame.

I have a genetic disorder which effects bones, muscles, sleep etc.

im sleeping really well now, and thats what i wanted to pay for.

While nothing in life is perfect, i am at least happy with my purchase and with listening to my intuition, not a load of whingers

me they were too far apart. I bought sheets that weren't too tight and I turned the mattress every week for the first month and then every 3-4 weeks since. I had wanted a plush top but was concerned about being too hot in it.

Also, my last mattress was a different brand plush top and I found the middle of the bed started to sag and I was constantly rolling into the middle and was waking up with a sore upper back because the edges were higher. So I bought a medium even though I new it might feel quite firm at first. It's been fine. It's obviously firmer than what you feel in the store. Not only because the store ones will be more worn in but also, I presume, because you're lying directly on the soft cover and there's not layers of sheets and mattresses protectors like there is at home. Remains to be seen whether it will last years but so far I'm very happy with it. and wake up with no soreness at all.

I had a king koil for 14 years and slept well – I bought a king koil mattress 14 years ago and I am just ready to buy a new one. It has been very comfortable for me as I enjoy a firm mattress. I am going to purchase another one as I think to have something for 14 years is worth the money that you spend. went with a medium thinking it may soften slightly over time. I think we may get a thin mattress topper just to soften it ever so slightly.

Feels particularly comfortable when laying on my back. I don't often sleep on my back but when watching tv/resting in bed it's very nice to lay on. When laying on my side/tummy that's where I think I need the slight softness of a topper.

No issues from us so far.

it for 6 months to settle in. I explained that I am concerned we have very little recourse one day after purchase let alone in six months. I asked what would happen in six months if we still did not like it. They then admitted we have no recourse. I asked if I could at least lodge a written outline of my concerns and the lady I spoke to reluctantly gave me the customer service email. Even if the mattress does settle down, I would have been much better buying a sleeping duck that has a 90 day money back guarantee.

Performed well over 8 years of use – We've had a Chiro Comfort MK3 Firm for over 8 years and been happy with it. Slept well and never had any back issues. After 8 years there are slight indentations but after such a long period of time that's to be expected. springs and top up of layers but once again it didn't take long to sag again. It needed replacing with another model, not fixing. Emails re second complaint ignored. This mattress has caused hip and back pain and got so back and have resorted to using the old mattress. Now the visitors sleep on the sagging mattress and their complaints are the same (the advantage is they don't stay too long as they can't sleep on the mattress more than a couple of nights).

enough for warranty (just under of course). Feels super comfortable to sit on however when you wake up in the morning everything hurts. I tried a foam mattress topper which was great for a couple months but back to square one. Five years on and still having the same problems. Wish I never bought this mattress. have no pain when I wake in this mattress, not even my shoulders when I'm on my side. It took mine and my partner's shape well, had never sagged! I love it!!! Wouldn't trade it. I don't get why anyone wouldn't like it, bit I guess everyone's different, take your time, choose well, it's worth it.

I had a really sore back & woke up to find it was actually my reality. Pain was so bad I had to lie on the floor to relief the pain & this morning was a cold morning too so I was desperate. Found the invoice & found we bought the mattress in July 2017. Wow, two years old, is this how long mattresses last nowadays? Stay away from King Koil from A.H Beard! Really bad customer service! – Customers please be aware of this mattress and even any mattress from A.H Beard! The mattress was purchased Dec/2015 and delivered Feb/2016. However, recently in Dec/2018, we found that the edge at the footage collapsed (yeah, you did not read wrong, it is the edge, not spring issue, not sagging). We went to Harvey Norman immediately to report this issue and they referred us to AH Beard. AHB contacted us on 17/12/2018, and saying an inspector will come to inspect this mattress. Inspector came 09/01/2019. Thing happens after that.

AH Beard told us that we need to get the mattress sanitised for the safety of their repair staff, and the sanitisation fee (around $150) should come out of our pocket. While this process is understandable and necessary, shouldn't the fee be covered by AHB. If the mattress last long enough, customer will not pay a cent to get it sanitised. I wrote an email to them, but no reply. A call received, saying it was on the warranty conditions. Alright, I will pay it since it is in the exclusions list on the warranty card. However, I was told I still need to pay over $100 transportation fee as AHB came to pick it up and send it for repair! Gosh, your warranty is so useless, customers pay all the extra fees, only because of the bad quality of your product. This is really unacceptable from my opinion!

So, customers who would still like to purchase a King Koil from AHB, please note that you may need to pay additional hundreds to get your mattress repaired even it is under warranty. There is a large chance for you to have a low-quality mattress according to so many bad reviews.

Now waiting for a service agent to inspect, and thought I would check out the reviews..... not surprised at the consistent negative feedback at all. lauded tempur mattress when staying with family. Nearly cooked and on a cool night, very nearly bought one of these...so glad i didnt.
