FABULOUS! Has lasted 2 kids so far and will have another in it soon! – This cot is worth its weight in gold!! easy to put up and is very sturdy! Looks beautiful in any nursey. It has lasted my two very wild climbing boys, who have shaken it and climbed it and jumped in it. It is now going to have my third baby in it too. The drop down side is very easy for mum and dad but not easy for bub/toddler to work. Being a… Read more ·  1

Excellent – I would definately recomend this cot to friends, it is a great looking design. Easy to build even for people who aren't great at building furniture. Its a great size and the different colours means you can match it to your other furniture. sheets are easy to buy for it because standard size fits well. It isn't chunky bulky wood so it's strong… Read more

while still looking quaint and doesnt take up any unnecessary room. Very cheap compared to other cots and will save alot of money in the long run if you use it as a bed for your child when the pass the cot stage. first of all price!!!! Only $299. It is a very sturdy solid construction. Very easy to construct. Moving the side up and down is very easy, it can be done with one hand and just push the bothe with ur leg. Converts into a bed so it can be used for yrs. Looks great and comes in differnt colours. It's a little bigger than a standard cot but standard cot sheets will fit. The width of the bars make it perfect for cot mobiles to fit on the side. Baby cant get court in bars etc there is no teething bar but you can buy ones that fit that aren't exspensive MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT SIZE MATTRESS it's a bit bigger than a standard cot and some people have had trouble because they got a standard size mattress which leaves a big gap for the baby to get court in AND THIS IS DANGEROUS. Where ever you buy the cot from should sell the mattress to fit the size of the cot I bought mine together so I didnt have this problem.

Good – A good choice if you don't want to pay all the extra for Boori or similar (which is much too expensive in my opinion), I think it's being discontinued though so won't be easy to find for long Good looking cot; single handed drop side; converts to toddler bed; similar to Boori but much cheaper My sister had problems with hers where one of the bolts… Read more

didn't fit but it was replaced without a hassle; more expensive than many brands; no teething rail but I don't yet know if that will be a problem with my bub; no castors but I believe this was to meet the new standard because toddler beds aren't allowed to have them

Good – Love the Kingparrot cots. This one looks dainty for my little girl, while still feeling sturdy in construction. It was easy to put together on my own while heavily pregnant and helped by an enthusiastic toddler. The base is slightly larger than standard, and I found that the Kingparrot mattress is only standard size (I added an extra blanket under… Read more

the fitted sheet to bulk it out a bit). The base has two heights, for newborn and older baby, which saved my back from bending down in the early months. I managed to get mine on clearance with the mattress included for $350, so also very pleased on price. I also like that the sides can come off for a toddler bed, using the stabilising screws included with purchase. dainty but sturdy, easy construction, adjustable base, easy-slide side can be done one-handed, inexpensive base a little larger than standard

Good – I wanted a simple cot the that didn't look cheap and this cot was the best. The price was very reasonable compare to the sister products of Boori. I brought the tidy draw which is great for blankets. A simple, nice looking cot that is stable with a easy to drop side gate. The assemble was a bit fiddly and requires two people or 3 hands to hold it while screwing it together. Long delivery times - 12 weeks in Adelaide

Excellent – Great buy, particularly for a second cot for the second baby. It's great quality, sturdy and solid for the price and doesn't look cheap. A great alternative if you don't want to spend up to a Boori, as it's by the same company. Sturdy solid good construction. Doesn't look cheap, especially for the price. Converts to toddler bed. One handed drop… Read more

side gate. Have to buy rails separately. But this is actually a pro for me as I'm using it as a second cot for baby #2 and transferring bub into first cot which is a Boori, once my toddler goes to a big bed. Cot is regular size cot and now the larger Boori size.

Excellent – A good quality, classic piece well worth the investment. Sturdy construct and nice looks, made by the sister company of Boori, without the huge pricetag. Economical for King Parrot, and while not the cheapest of cots out there, worth the investment in terms of quality and appearance. Reasonably priced, sturdy cot with classic look. The one… Read more

handed drop rail is great and lives up to its promise of being one handed. We liked that it has 2 levels ( not back breaking with a newborn and safe for an older baby) and that it can convert to a toddler bed. Nothing at this stage (baby is only 5 months old, we shall see what happens when he can stand).

Excellent – Have had this cot for a few years now. It has held up really well and we have been very happy with . Still in great condition, though would benefit by having a teething rail of some sort as there are teeth marks along the edge now. Construction of the cot seems quite sturdy as is the matching change table. Classic style, nice design, very… Read more

reasonably priced compared to some others on the market, doesn't take up alot of room in the bedroom. Had a little bit of trouble getting the side to drop initially, it was quite stiff but loosened up soon enough.

Good – I like this cot. looks fantastic, seems to withstand wear and tear and is easy to use once assembled. The only thing i would of liked is the ends to have been solid instead of slats as the dummy's always end up on the ground. Looks fantastic, is sturdy and easy to use. Tricky to put together and should come standard with a teething rail.

Excellent – I am very happy with this cot. We got it in the English Oak colour, and it is a good classic and tasteful piece of furniture that doesn't look at all cheap and nasty like some of the other cots on the market in this price-range. I liked that this cot isn't so chunky and bulky looking, but still quite substantial - not flimsy like some others. … Read more

It doesn't take over the whole bedroom, if you know what I mean. I also liked that you could purchase co-ordinating furniture from the Boori/King Parrot range. (Not that we have....but we could if we wanted to!) Very pretty, hope to use it for baby number two later on, then convert it to a bed. Classic design, good materials, well made, nice finish, not too bulky and big in the room, allows for two mattress/base heights, easy to drop the side, easy to assemble. Nothing so far.

Excellent – A great, value for money cot that we have been very happy with so far. The drop rail is easy to use once in place. I like that the base of the cot can be raised for newborns, and lowered once they are old enough to be able to climb out. This makes it esy to pat baby to sleep without hurting your back! A very reasonably priced and good quality cot.… Read more

Safe, and very nice looking. Assembly was a little bit tricky, and took us a few goes before we got the drop rail in place correctly. Definitely a two person job.

Good – Reasonably priced cot which will do the job! I wish that it had come with the hand rails as this ended up being a hidden cost. One handed drop down mechanism. Converts to bed later. No wheels. Have to buy rails separately (and they come in packs of 1).

Excellent – A well designed cot which is a great addition to babies room - suits traditional or modern decor. Very well priced and high quality product = good value for money. Side rails are extra but only $40 for a pack of two - which seems very reasonable given that they are styled and painted to match the cot. Fits a standard size cot mattress and bedding… Read more

(unlike Boori?). Nicely styled cot and easy to assemble. High quality construction and good value price. Rails (rather than solid timber) across head and feet of cot promotes good air flow. Base can be raised to higher position when baby is small (before they can sit/stand) which is very back-friendly. Feature of conversion to a bed extends use of cot well into toddler years. Good choice of colours and matching furniture (especially liked modern design of drawer and change table units). One-handed drop mechanism is easy to use and strongly promoted in baby shops as a sales feature - but can't say we used it a lot and tended to leave the side up most of the time. Seem to have good re-sale value as King Parrot is a well recognised brand. No plastic 'teething' protectors to prevent damage to top of cot side baby chewing on top rails (but most cots don't have these now - apparently due to OH&S risk). No wheels on cot (checked this with King Parrot and this feature was removed to meet new safety regulations - they said cots that convert to beds can't have wheels as that would enable bed to roll away from wall and baby could then fall down side of bed). Have to buy rails separately (but these are only $40 for a pack of two).
