Machine is unreliable – Our machine was repaired at least 4 times until finally we ran out of warranty and importer was then unwilling to help anymore. This machine does not represent kitchen aid quality, they should not sell it and recall all their machines as it taints their reputation with loyal kitchen aid users

Always Breakes down – I have had this machine for 3 years and has broken down 4 times and is currently at the repairer. I bought it to match the other appliances. Not only is it big but the water tank is hard to get to and yes the paint does bubble up and come off. This is in no way the quality of the mixer, blender and toaster which I have and love. Do not buy it. It matched my other appliances Always breaks down

Pathetic after sales service – Machine broke down after 18 months, and it took 4 months for parts to arrive in the country! Repair shop told us this is typical with this brand. Actually spoke to Fair Trading and wrote a letter of complaint to the importer, but parts still took another 3 weeks to arrive. Makes a great coffee - double boilers mean no waiting for steam to froth milk. Very bad warranty service - had to wait 4 months for parts to arrive.

Disappointed - and desperate for a coffee – I've had my Kitchenaid for two years and it's just broken down for the second time. At $1100 I didn't consider it a cheap purchase and I only make one coffee a day. I really.thought I was buying a quality product that would last for years but that's not the case. Right now I'm tossing up whether to pay another $200 for repairs or put it in the bin. So disappointing. Looks good, double boilers for simultaneous expressing and frothing Keeps breaking down

OK – I have had this product for over a year and feel that it is better to get a stainless steel coffee machine. The enamel coating at the back of the unit bubbles up, you need to remember to turn it off regularly which is very annoying if you like to have coffee throughout the day. I was not happy with this product and would not recommend it. This machine is relatively inexpensive and looks great if you have all matching other appliances. The product material (enamel) at the back of coffee machine bubbles up if you leave it on to long. Which should not happen
