Kleenmaid DW29X

Very Good Machines – We have 2 of these dishwasher in our house [2nd one was really unnecessary] and they both work perfectly, when we first bought them [2009], the one in our kitchen used to short circuit resulting in all power being cut off but after 10 years of not being used we decided to test it again and i can confirm both machines now go through a full cycle without short circuiting or failing which is miraculous because they haven't been used in nearly 10 years! The cleaning performance of the machines is also very good and we have now done over 10 cycles without any troubles, cont complain!

Bad – Like most Kleenmaid products costs are usually high but always back by a 5yr warranty. Kleenmaid did not seem to put much thought into this dishwasher model as functionality is to be desired. There are many other dishwashers on the market with better features and for a lower price. Looks good, disperses tablet well with tablet pouch at front of top rack Top rack is difficult to pack, plates don't stand up and wine glasses aren't held properly, machine is quite noisy and machine does not power off after wash cycle is complete

Bad – A good machine, but needs company to give consumer advice that the electronic boards will fail if cockroaches are a part of your environment. When a repairman diagnoses a machine as a cockroach fault without examination of the machines insides, one gets the feeling it is a known problem to the company. Machine looks good and does a good clean As DW29W's electronic boards became infested with cockroaches the machine broke down. Took Kleenmaid 5-6 months to land and replace a part.Company repairers were confused about which part to replace and broke another part of DW29W in replacing boards. Machine is now superceded and parts may be subject to delays for replacement in a timely manner
