Painful to configure – I bought this for a corporate environment to replace a 3900DN. we use plain and letterhead, yet when one tray runs out of paper, instead of sounding a warning the printer pulls paper from the other tray, which is useless. Unlike the 3900DN and other Kyocera printers, this one does not have the option to configure. As we replace our 10 exising Kyo printers over the next few years we will be moving away from the brand.

It is also slower than the 3900. Looks good Features removed that were in superseeded models.

Wow, that is actually a great feature that it moves to the next tray. Of course it should give you the option to turn that off in case there are different paper types or sizes in the other trays, but still that is a nice feature.
