I was gifted the teething dragon I’d say was purchased from Townsville baby bunting the stuffing has started to come out of the toy! Baby loved the toy as it’s got great stimulation but the stuffing is seeping out of the stitchings and fabrics. Show details

Life-saver! – My daughter flat-out refused to do tummy time from day one, and we were getting desperate! Every time we'd try something new hoping she'd take to it (different textures and fabrics to lie on, pillows/ no pillows, TV as distraction, on mum, on dad) but she wouldn't have a bar of it. Stumbled across this product by accident, and have never looked… Read more

back! She loved it from day one.. And can grow with it which is the best part!! :-) Amazing product idea and design! 10/10! Lightweight; no batteries required; easy to move and store; encourages strength in all major muscular systems; great body support; fantastic results - happy baby! No lights or sounds to stimulate baby's other senses, and limited toys provided (we added some extras). Hard for young/little babies to get the hang of.

Waste of time & money – Bought this 5 years ago for my first daughter, who hated tummy time. I thought it would help and entertain her. She hated it even more than just being on the floor and could not spin herself at all. Now I've got a 9month old who does like her tummy time, but she also hates this toy, who also cannot spin herself. It was not worth keeping for so long in the cupboard. Looked cute & fun Children hated it, bad design

Didn't live up to my expectatons – I was really excited about this product. I thought it was colourful and expected my daughter to love it. Sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. By the time she was old enough to use it to turn around she wasn't interested. She had a really strong neck from a very early age so didn't need to have any help being proped up. She did enjoy playing… Read more

with the mat by itself (without the bug spin thing). So it was okay in my books. But perhaps a little expensive in the end. Next bub is on the way so hope they will like it more. Nice pretty pictures, colours and interactivity. expensive, not used much, by the time she was old enough to spin herself she didn't want to stay still.

Looks Cool....that's all! – Luckily I bought this from ebay as it is totally not worth the RRP. I did read the mixed reviews and hoped my child would enjoy as she has not particularily liked tummy time and felt I had not given her enough time earlier on and might have delayed her progress. I had hoped this might sort things out....wrong. She hated it. I think because they… Read more

can't bare weight on their forearms (as they would on the floor) the pressure on there stomach is very hard. She looked very uncomfortable and after a few minutes on the spinner would end up in tears. May have fun with it when a bit older and can actually play on it if she is not to heavy. And Mummies out there thinking they have been slack and not put bub on the tummy enough and now they seem behind...dont worry! When the penny drops for them they can't get enough and it only takes days for them to figure it out. My DD is 20 weeks and only 3 weeks ago learnt to roll back from on the tummy, now we are watching her figure out crawling. Pretty mat that can be used when out and about. Not fun - unless you like crying and spewing on pretty mat!

Helped make Tummy time Fun – We had a lot of Trouble getting our Daughter to do her tummy time without tantrums and tears. She would spend more time pushing her bum in the air and faceplanting on the mat than holding her head up. This was the perfect solution for us. she'll spend 5 times as long on her tummy on this than she would without it, and instead of tipping herself on… Read more

her face, she pushes herself around with her hands and her legs. No tears, and no tantrums.

It's ideal if your baby has a small amount of head control, but hates tummy time with a passion. lots of colours, interesting, gives more freedom of movement over conventional tummy time, lots of textures for baby to explore. expensive if bought new, not good for babies who can't support their head at all.

Excellent – Overall, this product is excellent. My daughter thinks its fun - I have heard lots of giggles from her when she is using it. It has nice bright colours that my daughter finds appealing. It has lots of activities to play with, including a mirror. The part the baby lays on and spins with is detachable so you can use the base later as a… Read more

playmat/toy. It is light. My daughter was really resistant to tummy time (after spending lots of time in hospital as a prem) - so this has really helped to encourage her. It was reasonably priced given how much she uses it.

Good – I'm very happy with this tummy spinner. My little boy has loved it from the start. It's quite a unique idea for encouraging tummy time. Be prepared to catch dribbles from your baby's mouth as he or she spins around! I haven't tried washing the play mat yet. I'm not sure how well it will wash. I really like the cute design with the garden… Read more

creatures. The toys are fun, especially the crinkly bits. The lady bird support is moulded nicely for comfort and spins really well. The play mat doesn't stay flat. It scrunches up when my baby grabs it.

OK – It is a very cute sweet and clever play item and i would recommend it to purchase but I would wait untill its on sale to buy it as its not really worth the $60 or so that its charged for full price. We bought thisfor our daughter. Its fantastically colourfull and has an abundance of interactive toys and gadgets for bubby to play with, also its a… Read more

fantastic focal point in your loungeroom There are a few. Its not really appropriate for very young babies because theyddot have sufficent hesd control and tend to just flop but once bub reaches about8 months they are too big so it has quite a small usage life. The spinning part is pretty useless untill baby has the mantality to figure out thet they have to push and pull themselves around also as bub gets heavier the spinning gets more difficult. I also found it to constantly encouraging baby to throw up and was forever washing the base as bub is always on her tummy.

Good – A really great tummy time toy - the older my baby gets, the longer he is using the toy and the more he seems to get out of it. Its perfect for helping to encourage little ones to explore their surroundings without flashing lights or music, and really engages their touch and feel senses, as well as helping them to become aware of their body. Worth… Read more

the investment! What a great idea! Makes tummy time so much more fun for little ones, especially those who have strong kicking legs and can spin themselves around with ease. Not appropriate for little babies who don't have a lot of head control, won't keep baby occupied for more than a few minutes until older than marketing age

Unuseful – Wow, what a waste of money. I purchased this for my baby thinking it may be a little fun for the both of us. Being an adult and not being able to try it out, I now have learnt to take my baby along with me to try before I buy. Very Unuseful and silly concept. Your baby is meant to lie face down and spin, I havent seen her spin once. Not interested at all. Waste of money Waste of money,

Terrible – We bought this for my niece as she was not very mobile but loved to look around at different objects and touch everything. She always seems so uncomforable on the spinning part and did not like being on it nor was she able to get the idea of spinning around herself. She did like the mat and still uses it in her toy room, but the mat is definately… Read more

not worth this amount of money. Cute and colourful play mat that has lots of objects too pull at and crinkle. The mat is very soft and snuggly for babies to lie on for tummy time. The spinning part is pretty useless - good idea but more thought needed to go into making it a worthwhile product to buy. Definately not worth the money.

Bad – would not buy again my bub never took to the spinner. he was weary and uncomfortable on it. seems like a hit and miss. either your baby loves or loathes it! i feel like by the time your baby is big enough that their legs and arms can reach the floor and spin they dont really need it anymore anyway. cute mat, nice idea small window of usage

OK – I was loaned this by my sister in law who had a baby of a similar age to mine, he hated tummy time and hated this gym, my baby who loved tummy time also liked this gym but no more than she liked tummy time anyway so it was just another option to put her on. Dont think I would have thought it was worth it if I had purchased it. Super Cute and bit… Read more

of a different style to most other playgyms. Thankfully very easy to clean. Lots of nice textures and bright colours for baby to look at. My baby always vomited whenever I put her on it so I think it was in the wash more than in use. Baby needs good neck control otherwise will just flop onto it.

Bad – it's an okay product, it's somewhere else for them to be put whilst you can't do alot of other things with them. how ever based on value for money i wouldn't buy it again. nice colours. it's not really for the babies age group that it says on the box i found it says 0-6 months i how ever found you can't really use it till at least 4 months as they… Read more

need sufficent head muscles established already as there is no where to rest there head. they also need sufficent arm muscles to move themselves around which they don't have at 0months? they really need to revise the age on the box.

Good – overall an alright toy for a baby but it is a bit weird because you will have to probably sit there and spin it for the bub cause the baby doesnt know how to work it. people who invent these things need to think more about how babies are going to use it. it is a great toy for babies, they like bright colours and this toy is very bright. babies… Read more

love the toys and it is a clever and cute design. it isnt very good for a young baby cause it doesnt support their neck much which will give them a sore neck. it is designed for a young baby but i wouldnt rik it for people that buy it for a young baby. wait til the babby is a bit older, maybe about 5+ months.

Excellent – My baby loves the Lamaze spin and explore garden. She had very good head control by 2 months and was already a huge fan of tummy time, so this just added another dimension to tummy time play for her. She enjoys playing on the spinner for 30 minute long stints before she seems to get tired and want to get off. She loves the crinkle leaves and… Read more

the bumble bee rattle the most.

When she is too big for the spinner she will still be able to use the mat separately. I have also started to hang the mat off items around her when I am changing her as the colours and toys keep her entertained during change times.

For us this is a great toy, but I can imagine for babies with poor head control or who do not love tummy time this toy would be less suited. Lots of interesting toys, colours and textures for baby.

Allows baby to more easily use arms to play when having tummy time. Ladybird antenna poke baby in mouth, eye and nose.

Excellent – I love the way this product looks. It has different colors, textures and sounds to help baby learn and be stimulated. The matt is quite small in comparison to other play mats so it takes up less floor space. It is cute and colorful. It can be used without the spinning part. It's compact design I don't think it is the best way to introduce a… Read more

baby to tummy time. It says on the box 0-3 months, But I think it's more for babys with better head control already

Excellent – We didn't find this very useful in strengthening our baby's head control as whenever we put him on it, he would tire quickly and his head would flop down. Then he would get frustrated and wanting to get off. This will probably be more useful if the baby like tummy time, but if your baby is like ours and dislikes being on his tummy, then the… Read more

spinner will probably get little use. Very colourful and interactive design to stimulate the baby in various ways. Smooth construction of the spinner without any perceivable hazards for the baby. I wouldn't recommend it for babies who don't have good head control as their head would just flop down on the mat.

OK – We was really excited about trying the spinning gym with our son because it looked really fun. However he didnt enjoy being on his tummy and he didnt have very good strength in his neck until past 4 months. Once he was strong enough to lie on the lady bug spinner he was too big. Clever toy designed to encourage babies to enjoy tummy time. Also… Read more

very colourful. The play mat is very cute and a good compact size to carry around. The spinner is not very good if your baby doesnt enjoy being on their tummy. It should also be designed for older babies because our son out grew it too quickly.

Bad – I have this at my mother's for our baby to use. Unfortunately it has only come out of the box 3 times and not well received. great colours and textures Realistically, a newborn could not use this and there is no way that a baby would be able to turn themselves around the garden until at least 9 months of age. By then the mat would be too small for them!
