OK – I home school my four older kids and so we do a lot with the printer. As mentioned, the cartridge replacement price is a big problem for a printer this cheap, but buying the higher yield does help (and try ebay for good prices) and I would recommend the unit if you were only wanting this to scan/save things and print basic stuff. It works well enough for what we use it for. I have had this for nearly six or so years now and have no plans for replacing it - but ask me again when all the kids are at senior secondary level!! It is nice and cheap to buy up front, and a very reliable performer - mine has never jammed or had software issues. I scan a lot of things which come up nice and clear, and black and white documents seem to print ok. The smaller yield size 17 cartridge is next to useless in how much printing can get done - and for the price of the size 16 (higher yield) you may as well just buy the whole printer over again! Copying of important documents is pretty awful at times but can be fiddled with. Don't think I'd even bother trying to print a photo off.

OK – Well for a home-student/small office this is top and is a must with a very good price. Well, its 3 in one so thats handy, it has good quality in all areas. And stylish not like those other 3-in-1's e.i Brother. printing takes a while. clour is not perfect but still very good.

Terrible – Cant wait to get rid of it, its absolutely useless with its ink consumption, what kind of small business can afford the upkeep on it! Waste of space and time in my honest opinion! Its compact and the software that comes with it is good! The ink doesnt last long at all, the cartridges cost a small fortune (almost as much as the printer nowdays), it never works when it should, im replacing it as soon as possible!

OK – Good quality colour printer for the price, photocopies well and is quite quick compared to other printer of the same price range. printer cartrigdes seem to last quite awhile and the software that comes with it is very good you can nearly buy a new printer for the price of two replacement cartrigdes.

Bad – Ok for home use but not recommended for those wanting to do lots of printing, particularly if you want to print photographs taken with a digital camera. It is an inexpensive 3-in-1 printer (printer, copier and scanner). The drivers work with no problems with Windows XP. Scanning quality is reasonably good. Print quality is not fantastic which means that its copying ability is not the best.
