Terrible – At first this printer looks sturdy & well built, but eventually a micro switch leaver at the rear (to let the printer know when the lid is open) failed. According to the internet this is a common problem. The leaver appears to be built from tracing paper quality plastic. Wedging the switch closed causes a hook (which seems to serve no other purpose) to drop down & prevent paper being drawn in.

I congratulate Lexmark on their ingenious engineered obsolescence and to their credit this may well cause me to buy another printer sooner than I would have liked, however they have ensured that it will never be another Lexmark. Reasonable print quality Cartridge doesn't last long, paper draw never pulls straight, life span
