Good – I was a bit disappointed with the measly remote when I first pulled it out of the box, which wasnt on display in the shop. It seems a bit cheap and nasty when using, although looks ok in the shops. However I cant complain since its worked ok for the last year and plays almost all avi files that i ever tried playing on it, picks up srts ok. Id be tempted to buy something that seemed a bit more quality next time... Plays almost all avi files, good picture a bit cheap and nasty. How long will it last? tiny remote, flimsy dvd tray.

Good – Its a reliable machine and plays back my audio and video quite clearly. I'd recommend to anyone who wants a low fuss DVD player to connect to a standard definition TV. Great machine and has been reliable since I got it. It is an LG product and is easy to unlock the region code. It plays back most formats and does not take to long to load up files. Unlike my other LG DVD player, it does not have the ability to search through video files by inserting the time you want it to start playback from. That is a really handy function. The input and output jacks at the back of the machine are pretty basic. It only offers component jacks and one digital optical audio jack.

Excellent – hasnt skipped a beat in 12 months of abuse will happily replace with same once duty cycle of current unit is realised. plays everything is great, run it for hours and hours on end and just soaks it up. with avi files initial menu can take a little while to load sometimes would be nice if it was given some more grunt. multi format support region lock easily disabled.

good quality and attractive design remote is a little small.

disk locating pattern in disk tray should be revised to offer more positive disk location, occasionaly annoying rather than crippling.

Terrible – I brought this from Clive Peeters and it died less than 8 weeks after purchase. Clive Peeters wouldn't take it back and it's gone in for a warranty repair. I'd steer clear of this DVD player. Multi-format and support for DivX Fully functional remote control Region Locked to 4
