Wish we had bought another – We've had this fridge for a bit over four years now. It was a great price, but in retrospect, I wish we had spent more to get something better. One issue we've had is that if you put anything much in the top door, it doesn't swing closed by itself, you have to make sure that you push it closed every time. The second is that it has become kinda noisy. In every other respect, it's a nice fridge in a compact size. But even though it still "works" fine as far as keeping the food, well, refrigerated, I have a feeling that it's going to be replaced as soon as we can afford to as the quirks mentioned are so annoying.
Excellent – I purchased the white model from Appliances Online. I have found this to be the perfect size for my single lifestyle. As a working professional I often have frozen meals, and this has excellent freezer space compared to other fridges of a similar size and price range. The fridge compartment fits 2L bottles in the side door and has plenty of space for my own food plus extra should I have guests over.
The ice tray compartment slides in and out, making it easy to access and means less spills. The "super freeze" function is excellent if you need food or ice to freeze quickly, but I find it does freeze very quickly even without that function.
It is one of the cheapest "bottom freezer" fridges you will find (in white), and the silver handles fit in nicely should you have any stainless steel appliances in your kitchen.
Overall a very attractive fridge, which is functional and would suit singles or couples. Attractive design, very cold, freezes food quickly, and you can find the white model for an excellent price. Nothing as yet.
OK – The fridge works well but definitely not rustless finish. If you live in an area where rust is a problem, steer clear of the white version of this fridge. Glass shelves, quiet, efficient, frost free, freezer below. I bought the white model which claimed "Rustless finish". Unfortunately the doors started to corrode at the horizontal edges of each door plus the top rear edge of the fridge. This was a spare fridge in laundry and I didn't notice until 2 months after the 2 year warranty expired. However, I phoned LG and they agreed to replace the 2 doors, so 5 stars to LG for great service.
Excellent – This fridge is a great little fridge. My partner and have had it for about 2 years now and have not had a problem with it. My mother in-law has the model before it and it is equally as good. The freezer compartment is a good size and freezes the meat solid. I've never has fridge so cold. LG make a great fridge. Nice and compact. Dairy draw. Takes up tp much space.
