Would never buy another LG again – I have owned said machine now for just over 5 years. I have had the impeller and motor now replaced 3 times during this time. I use the machine every 2nd day so a total 640 washes over this time. I have asked LG to fix it and after many discussions I am still waiting on them. never buy LG dishwsasher again – after the first 12 months it stoped pumping serviceman warned me then to get rid of it but i thought it might keep going than the plastic latch broke then the door hinge broke it leaked water display went blank and now the inlet water solidnoid has stop working time for a new one. it looked good expensive, stoped pumping, leaked water,latch broke,hingesprig broke,inlet water solidnoid stoped

Terrible – We had it fixed 2 times in 3 years. It never washed well, noisy. Couldnt wait to throw it out when it died on us again! Has great dish space, looks great. Everything else!

Terrible – If you want a machine to sit there, do nothing and look nice while you sell a house the machine would work well. If you would like a machine that does not fall to pieces within a year or two buy something else. Looks OK We have a six person family and therefore use this product more than the average. warranty. Then the seals needed replacing, then the door opener broke (inside it's a piece of rope with a plastic end). After repairing all of these issues it lasted another six months and started leaking and making more noise than a teenage garage band. A couple of days later and it died completely taking out the house power fuse in the process. Regular cleaning since new as per manufacturer’s instructions didn't help or prolong its life.

reason, door helper spring then broke making door very heavy to lift, then door pops open while machine running every now and then.Now justs stops mid cycle and wont start again for a few hours till it resets its self some how.

stuff neatly. it is very loud during operation. it does not wash the pots and pans all that well, you really need to do some cleaning before hand.

the beeping sounds when the washing is done is annoying at night, i wish there is a way of turning it off. after the dry cycle is completed, the dishes are still quite wet.

Good – I wanted this one because it was the only one we were considering that could do half a load. I virtually never use it for full loads anymore because I can fit all of our daily dishes in the bottom rack. me that there was a problem that they'd issued a recall for and they fixed that problem for me on the same day. I could not be happier with the dishwasher or the LG customer support. Good size. Child lock. Half load option fantastic. Quiet. Easy to use. Timer function very hand. Don't use them very often but has a few other handy settings. Stopped working within the warranty period BUT totally covered by warranty and a recall issue.

Terrible – Don't buy LG. Their service department is dysfunctional, so if you get a bad unit the local repairman can't deal with, you're not going to get adequate help. latest was in early January 2006. It is now June 2006 and they have not only not fixed it, but they have not replaced it. This is the second time the machine has been out of action in its three years with us for LONGER than three months. The first time there was a huge delay while we waited for parts to be shipped in from Korea. This time it was longer, and there were quite a few failures including a fun episode where my repairer was waiting for parts only to be told they weren't in service any more: and they only told him because I called their service line every 2 days for a month. They told me even less !

on economy. Manual says to open the door at the end of cycle and allow to dry further. A bit annoying,prefer to use the extra drying feature. Still have to clean filters.

Terrible – Does the job,if you're not too fussy.Clean the filter EVERY time you use it for optimum results. Open the door for drying. setting.Plates stack too close to each other to ensure effective cleaning.

Small cutlery rack.Don't like it,plus t-spoons and narrow cutlery fall right through the bottom.

Annoyingly inadequate cup racks.Hate that you can't remove the annoying plastic thing to hold the cups in on one side.I'm going to cut it off with a hacksaw!!
