TERRIBLE! – Had this washer for 10 yrs too long. Does'nt dry properly, dishes and cutlery are still covered with food scraps. We clean filter weekly hoping it will help the situation. Upon reading the other reviews I can see i'm not he only one who is disappointed. Shocked to find out it doesn't have a drying option, useless considering its what you buy them for. Would'nt have bought it if I knew this. Anyone want a working dishwasher for scrap metal? come and take it! Can't believe I persisted so long with this rubbish item.

will never buy LG again. Have an ASKO now. Brilliant! nice looking read review, too many bad things to mention.overall, don't waste your money

I think its great - when used correctly – I have been using my LD-4120m model LG Dishwasher now for 6 years and I thinks it fantastic. You do need to open the door after it has washed though so it can air dry, as this model doesnt automatically dry the dishes - however this does save on your electricity bill which is a big deal these days. I do a full dishwasher after our evening meal, rinse the dishes lightly first under sink water people (ITS A DISHWASHER NOT A GARBAGE GOBBLER)once the cycle is finished open the draw to air dry overnight. In the morning you pack your dishes away. It not that hard. Its a great dishwasher it has been loyal to me for 6 years and still going and still looks like near new condition. It does not stink one bit but I have noticed many other homes with smelly dishwashers (Ladies arent taking care & using dishwashes correctly). Very Reliable, Best used on a full cycle just need to light rinse your dishes first. It doesn't dry the dishes - however open the door and will dry them overnight

My LG has finally got to a point of repair & after waiting 2 months for a $4 part I have deceided to replace it with a BOSHE purely to try a Bigger Brand Name & compare apples with apples.... it cost $400 more but my gosh I do love the extras Like: I get a full CLEAN on the short cycle - so Ive just saved 1.10Hrs on heating costs. I can lower the top shelf for higher items to fit, or remove the top shelf put in an extra little fitting & wash big tall saucepans & vases. OH and the best thing out my tea cups& mugs look like new again.....no more scrubbing tea stains by hand 'Now thats amazing'. I love my new boshe sorry LG but i do believe LG today has probably got models out there to compete with Boshe. My $400extra investment will probably recover in 1 years on power savings. It really depends on what you can afford & By the way - the Boshe still leaves little pools of water on cups - BIG DEAL ladies !!!

Terrible – Doesn't dry dishes properly, duel intensity is probably the best program to use if you want the dishes done 'okay' but not great, and it takes around 3 hours plus drying time. Toddlers can easily turn dishwasher on or off, probably a good idea to make with internal controls. I have to agree with most of the reviews here. I also bought my dishwasher from GoodGuys on the saleswoman's reccomendation (there must have been large commissions on it) When needing to replace I certainly won't be going for any LG dishwasher products again. The 'look' Doesn't dry properly or wash properly, child unfriendly.

I had 3 littlies that were taught not to touch dishwasher so they dont. The LG is Goodvalue & does wash dishes if you do your cycle at night & overn the door before going to bed its dry in the morning. I have since purchased a BOSHE which I love paid $400 more than LG and it still leaves little pools of water in some things... big deal though.

Terrible – I purchased this product for its look and also due to sales womans recommendation. It was bought at Good-guys store Rockingham and they refused to take it back after 24 hours referring us to LG who also refused to take it back. This machine is a total dud, LG fobbed us off and stands by it being a great product. They do not listed to their customers. We are now left in the position of re-buying another. I wouldnt even sell it on, it would be dishonest. Next time I want a promise the machine will do what it claims to or I will have it returned. I will never shop at Good-guys or buy LG again. Phoenix Huege de Serville The outside finish Everything. The worst thing is that I end up drying every dish. The dishes end up with residue and so I rinse every dish before entry. Kind of defeats the purpose. I'm doing dishes by hand. An expensive decoration in the house. When we bought this dishwasher we tried to return it on the first day as it did not dry. LG sent out someone to inspect it who advised us to leave the door open to dry. Great now I get dust inside too.

Terrible – This product is a lemon! It is very weak in the washing department. Knives and forks and glasses often have a residue or have small particles adhering to them. The worst feature, however, are the rollers. We have now had to replace six and there is every sign that they will keep breaking. The rollers are seventeen dollars each from Big Warehouse. Our last replacements lasted eight months. At out last house we had a new Asko which was sold with the property. Boy, are we regretting that decision. It looks good. It doesn't wash very well and it certainly does not dry. The rollers break.
