The Actual Television Looks Great – I had a tough decision, choosing a new television to wall-mount in my house. At the time, my Panasonic plasma was (and still is) going great - I love that tv.! So when shopping for a small LED LCD TV to wall-mount, I immediately checked out the Panasonics. By far, they had the best picture, but the look of the actual tv. seemed bland and out-dated when compared to the LG LM6700. The LG also had many fancy apps going for it, compared with the Panasonic, which didn't have any. I ended up buy the LG because it was going to be wall-mounted in a heavy traffic area and on display in a section of the home where guests usually hangout. I concluded I'd rather have a better looking television compared to the one with the better picture, and besides, I had my top-of-the-range plasma for movie watching. Once I got the tv. home, I immediately noticed a flaw within the LG's functionality; the television programme guide is terrible! Once again, to compare it with my three year old Panasonic (which has a WAY better picture), I can turn it on, press the guide button and immediately, the guide is on screen, displaying what's on for every channel, throughout that day and the following seven days. To my disappointment, when I press the guide button on the brand new LG, which should have the latest technology, I get no information, apart from the current channel selected. If I want to see what's on, I literally have to navigate my way through every channel and see what's on and THEN go to the guide to see what's on. What's the point of having a guide button then if I have to go through all the channels individually? Nice work LG! This point also brings me to another disappointment with the LG LM6700; viewers cannot cycle through all the channels in both directions - I can flick through from Channel One and all the way up to Go! and if I keep pressing the channel up button, it will go back to the start again (One), but if I try going the other way by pressing the channel down button, the LG will stop at Channel One and won't go down to Go! They may not sound like major issues to you, but trust me, they become really annoying! And what of those apps that were part of my closing deal when deciding between the Panasonic and the LG? They're nothing exciting. Throwaway extras that I don't use. Okay, 2D Picture - Great 3D Picture - Beautiful Television Aesthetics Useless TV Guide - Annoying Channel Cycle Functionality

should have bought a Samsung – After owning it for number of years, I realise the CPU is not up to speed. Some of the apps are no longer supported. Bought a Samsung a couple years back and much happier with the performance, not considering the picture quality or the sound. Has more horse power under the hood.

Purchased in at JB Hifi Home for $2,500.

Lg6700 55 inch – Great Tv so far but the picture looks not quite right.. Looks a bit like watching cctv footage.. Have tried all of the picture adjustments. Still not that great... Make sure you ok with the picture before buying. Also the frame rate is a bit slow for watching some sports. Great remote. Looks great. Easy to use. Picture looks a bit odd. Like watching a security monitor or something.

The LG 55LM6700 TV cannot play videos from the Internet. It is not a Smart TV ????? I got in touch with Lg so I could return my tv, and that's the reply: Unfortunately due a firmware and hardware limitation, the TV will only be able to support media being played by Flash Player 10. If a website is using a higher version of flash player, unfortunately the TV won&#39t be able to display it. If you wish to view Youtube videos you will need to use the dedicated Youtube application located in the premium application section. Unfortunately as the limitation is related to the hardware, no firmware or software updates to the TV which change this. If the unit was purchased within the 7 day change of mind peroid, you are eligible for a refund at the retailer. If not, you cannot receive a refund.

Simply Fantastic - Truly a Sexy and "SMART" TV – As far as first impressions go, love at first sight could be one expression to describe this marvel's attractive design. A cut above the rest of the competition simply on looks alone. But we shouldn't just judge a TV by it's cover, it's the personality that counts, the story on the inside that matters.....so what to make of this LG Smart TV's personality?

Like human relationships, this is very subjective. So speaking purely from my relationship with it, as well a my wife's, my kids, my folks and a few friends. The story it tells is just as amazing as it's looks.

The relationship has only just started, so this review you could say is the honeymoon period. But what a honeymoon it's been.

Enjoy your own experience. Attractive design, exceptional value for money, energy efficiency, ease of use, feature packed, interconnectivity WIFI, WIDI, Very cool Magic Remote, iPhone Remote, iPhone & iPad media streaming, wireless stream video from media server and of course and most importantly Brilliant Picture Quality. Setup of stand will require 2 ppl to be safe, internet browser had crashed on some occasions, browser doesn't support Flash above v8(this may be an issue for some), LG Apps seem to take a while to load all the time despite cable internet, and Magic remote not always convenient to use- a pro and con. All fairly minor issues but worth noting.

Excellent cannot live without! – Works excellent with wireless keyboard, has great detail in the picture, much better than pricier samsung model. Bought from the Good Guys Hoppers Crossing and they were excellent and demoed the unit with me.So happy with the unit, actually wrote this review on it. Easy to setup, cinema 3d and dual play are so cheap to use and great quality 3d effect through all channels. Excellent pricing, energy rating, picture and features No mouse support, but you get a magic remote
