Bad – I wish I would have choosen a different TV. This TV was not a good buy. I should have spent more for a better quality TV. When you watch a TV program or movie & there is a part in only blue, there is no enjoyment. Would somebody give some assistance. I have asked LG for help before, but I never recieved a response. I like the size & price. Too many problems. I 3 years volume(balance) & picture(contrast-color-brightness) must be adjusted on a weekly basis. Light bulb need to be changed after 2 months. Now I have a blue wave moving from the top of picture towards the bottom & it covers 10% of the screen.
Good – for $2475.00 at the good guys with a extended 5 year waranty included makes this tv an excellent substitute for someone who cant quiet afford a plasma or lcd. i am extremely happy with the purchase. highly recomended. great size and great price. clear picture from allmost every angle. i was a little scared about purchasing an lg rear pro but am quiet suprised. the quality seams to be as good as any other leading brand on the market.
Excellent – I paid around $2500 with an additional 5 year warranty and I can honestly say that its the best $2.5k I've ever spent. Sitting a couple of metres from it is just like watching a film. Everybody who sees it comments on how great it looks. This is the best TV picture I have seen this side of $10k. Hooked up to a upscaling DVD player it is amazing. Some rainbow effect observed with some DVDs but I seem to have gotten used to it as it appears far less now. By the way, no one else has noticed it.
