Absolute rubbish . Never buy LG again !! – I bought this washing machine , about 4 years over $1000 . Forget about having clean clothes , have to rinse by hand to get rid of it . I have cleaned the inside of the bowl as well as lint filters after each wash, but no use . Can't wash my white sheets anymore. My mum also bought a lg , 3 years ago . Different model same issue . . LG customer service is pathetic . I am now trying to figure out how to fix this and how much it will cost . From what I've read here most likely will need a new machine . Worst 100@ bucks I've spent . If I buy another machine definitely won't be an LG . Will never buy another LG product again .

clothes, lint, and break downs.

For me I'd owned a LG fuzzy logic before and know that because it doesn't have a centre section long clothes can tangle a bit so that didn't worry me. I'd found their lint system on the other machine to work well and although I'd noted it was in a different position on the WT-R107 model I was looking at, I felt that given we separate out our clothes any way and understand you need to clean the filters regularly I was prepared to gamble this. As for break downs, I've had all types of breakdowns over the years including so called top of the range products so for me it was making sure I took out the right length of warranty.

Well in my opinion this machine is magic. It has improvements in the different cycles available since the last model I had with them. The size 10kg is hugh and not a problem for any sized loads from our 4 person family throws at it.

I really like the soak and wash timers which is great for soaking whites etc... and the spin on this unit leaves you clothes quite dry. You can knock the spin down a level or two if you're washing at night and don't want hardened clothes in the morning to hang out.

Although the look of the unit is less fancier than say the 9.5kg unit of LG (WTH950) which has the see through lid, I did notice it was about 100mm lower than the 9.5kg unit which made a hugh difference in ensuring the smaller members of our family can get the clothes out easily, a problem I know some friends of mine have commented on with their WTH950 model.

I found by downloading the manual from the LG website, you're able to scope the machine out pretty good and know exactly what it's capable of before parting with your hard earned cash. Size, 10kg machine is magic. Has heaps of options to meet most needs including 3hr soak option and up to 24hr delay, fuzzy logic and all the normal delicate & heavy duty options. I find the spin speed really good for a top load machine of this size and you can easily wind it back a couple of settings. LG fuzzy logic has always been a favorite of mine throw it all in and let the machine work it out, but has options to adjust. Finally it has pretty good water and energy ratings for a top loader.

Good – If you prefer washing in cold water, you won't get great results from this machine - I've yet to find a machine that does wash well in cold-the detergent doesn't seem to emulsify. loaders. If you like to chuck towels sheets and clothes in together- I suggest a front loader. Using warm wash, it washes very well for a top loader-better than our last front loader. The clothes come out smelling fresh. Cold rinse cycle does the job very well. Can control water levels or rely on the fuzzy logic however it does tend to over fill with water for the amount of clothes. VERY IMPORTANT -MAKE SURE IT HAS THE TWO LINT FILTERS IN THE MACHINE! When this model was first released, there we no lint filter and I believe this caused a serious lint problem. Size, relatively quiet, washes well if you follow manufacturers instructions and use a good quality low sud detergent and wash warm, high spin is effective. Manufacturers washing instructions can a bit fidely-separate lint givers and collector otherwise there will be a lint problem. Powder detergents don't emulsify well, liquid detergent best

detergent i'm using though. I've found the high and extra high spin options are very extreme, I wouldn't recommend them on anything but heavy duty items. Our clothes come out clean, I haven't really noticed problems with lint on the clothes but I make sure to empty pockets, wash towels by themselves etc. Just recently my lint filter has a sticky release button and is hard to get out so i'll have to buy another one. In summary i'm happy with the product and would buy it again.

Had to replace my washing machine – I had to replace my old maytag washing machine as it had decided to burn out. I needed a washing machine with large capacity as I wash large mink blankets and doonas. tangle clothes up as it doesn't have an agitator. It does a decent clean but not as good as my old maytag. Large capacity Tangles clothes, leaves un-dissolved laundry detergent on clothes sometimes.

wash their hands clean with all we bunnies that purchased this product in good faith. Stay away from this machine as I will stay away from any other product out there with the LG name attached.

LG needs to step up. Not every one stays in the same home and can keep a recipe for 10 years – I have found it to leave a little dirt on clothes. It has been a quiet machine. I have started to have troubles as in it fills, Washes and then turns itself off. So all power is off. but can prove the washer is a 2010 model. And with the sticker still on the front saying 10 year warranty on the direct drive. My guess is they deleted this machine knowing all the troubles... And there is NO HELP for me on this machine.... Quite sad with the outcome as a single mum makes it hard to replace these expensive items when it's a motor problem for sure.

WT-R107 – This machine was a waste of money. It broke down in the first 6 months and has broken down a number of times since. No wonder this machine has been discontinued. There is a sludge that shows on my white washing and the machine sometimes leaves powder all over my blacks. The clothes end up in a big knot all twisted together. I won't be buying another LG MACHINE !

Residue on white cloths – At the begining cloths and white sheets came out perfect,now after 3years of use I can't wash my white cloths and sheets without this discussing residue all over my white wash.I was desperate, so after my white wash I took the sheets out and poured in some sugar soap in the liquid dispenser and put on quick wash setting for 30 min. (Empty machine).

Rubbish – we have had this machine for over three years. It ran for the first two; that is if you like lint and playing cloths twister. Since we have had the repair man out for various issues 4 times, today the drum has dropped and this washer is being introduced to our verge.

Very Disappointed – Our machine is 4 years old. The agitator makes an awful noise when washing. The service man inspected it and found a small metal surclip on the shaft out of the gearbox had snapped. The part looks to be worth about 5 cents. Service man informs me the surclip is not an available part so need a new complete gearbox. Rough estimate is $500 for parts and labour or buy a new machine. Looks like it is a new machine.

Not happy – Yes, clothes come out all tangles and tied in knots and powder soap does not dissolve. BUT I have another issue now, there is a Urine smell coming from between the barrel and the frame of the machine, I have cleaned the filters inside the barrel and cleaned all around the top of the machine but cannot eliminate the odour. I have found that the clothes do not come out smelling clean.

Never buy a machine without a lint trap – It doesn't have a central agitator but is just a big drum, so you can wash very large loads and even big blankets. But...because it doesn't have a lint trap all the clothes come out covered in lint and have to be put in the dryer to get it off. This is a major design flaw, and if these are still available, don't buy one. Will take a big load Everything comes out furry

Definitely is the worst machine I have ever bought and I am definitely taking this further. LG have been no help what so ever and their customer service/satisfaction stinks.

have problems with washing powder. The powder stays in clumps so I now use liquid, but still have to really mix it in or it marks clothes.

All in all, it's a great downturn in quality from its predecessor. I won't be buying another LG washing machine, that's for sure. I guess the size is the only advantage Bad lint collectors; clothes all tangled and washing powder clumping.

machine is now 3 years old, the top is totally broken, the metalwork is rusting and the agitator just fell out! The plastic splines on the agitator have stripped and can't be tightened back up (plastic has a habit of doing that) . I would not touch another LG washer with a barge pole. Sang a nice tune when it finished washing Bad after sales service, cheap construction, poor build quality, could not run a "spin only" cycle.

Not good life – Had LG for 5 years and now it`s scrap metal spend over $200 to get it fixed and is still not fixed. LG service tech in my area would not come and look at my MC because it`s not a warenty claim so don`t expect and service from them. Buy sumething else..

Terrible – I wanted this to be great, but it is the worst machine I've ever owned - I'm constantly having to re wash things. Good Machine – I have no trouble with this machine, how it washes only it doesn't catch any lint in the lint filters and it's clogging up my grey water irrigation system. My clothes doesn't come out tangled or ruined. The lint filters are there but are not doing their job properly. 5. I don't think the machine is effective at rinsing. I've done a test washed and rinse clothes and added extra rinse. Water ran clean at the end. Put it in a front loader and detergent residue came out.

All in all a really awful machine. It is large and can fit in a lot of large items like towels etc

Excellent – Well Worth the money,Great size, great wash,I think people who had the lint problem i have seen complained about....the problem has been resolved with the lint catchers,,,clean them out and you wont have an issues,runs like a dreams cleans the clothes better than my Maytag which I would never buy EVER again .....
