Logitech M185 mouse – i purchased at half price at BIGW, works straight away from the box after reading instructions on box, driver under battery cover. works well and very smooth Show details
Digital Mouse Logi M185 – WIRELESS - Fore fills expectations, clean functional design, good value, replaces cheaper unit, no name brand, that was hit & miss for a loong time. Now just durability. Show details
Quite average but very cheap – I have been using 4 units of this mouse for over 5 years. My experience with this model has been average. It is certainly cheap. There are two main problems with it. 1- It seems to drain the battery fairly quickly and once the battery is weak, it hangs often at the rate of about 1 per day and you can take the battery out and put it back in to… Read more
reset it. Only by putting a fresh battery in, it will work again flawlessly for about 3 months. I do not bother switching it off when I don't use it. But the automatic sleep function should take care of battery saving. IN this aspect, this model does not work as well as other Logitech mouse models I am using.
2- The left click will lose sensitivity and stops working after a couple of years if the mouse lasts that long.
So, my experience is that this unit generally lasts me 1.5 years then I would just buy another as it is cheap. My preferred Logitech mouse is M325. It works for longer and is more reliable. I also have a Logitech M150 mouse that came with a combo keyboard and mouse MK220. The combo is very cheap but I find this M150 amazingly reliable! It works for so many years and still going well. It also works on shiny reflective surfaces that the M185 does not work well (most mice do not work well on reflective surfaces). The M150 is supposed to be cheaper than the M185 but it works a lot better and lasts a lot longer! It's not available as a single unit in Australia without buying the combo keyboard + mouse MK220.
Mouse OK if you can find the driver – Where is the driver? Whoever designed the packaging for this mouse should be severely punished for omitting three crucial words: DRIVER INSIDE MOUSE. The 'What's in the box' on the mouse's carton shows mouse, driver and battery (already installed and activated by pulling out a piece of paper with an arrow), there is no need to opern the mouse you… Read more
think. So, only after returning one mouse, opening the replacement and still unable to find the driver, on opening the back to take the battery out, I discovered the driver cleverly hidden inside. What a waste of my precious time! BTW, the mouse works just fine...
Compact Size. Good value – I have been using Logitech for similar wireless mouse size for years. It is for my previous mouse replacement and quite happy about sensitivity and performance. As Mac user, compare with using Apple mouse, I prefer this one. Small size fit my palms. It said the battery last for a year but apparently less than a year. Replacing AA is easy and not… Read more
an issue. Considering the price with other similar but bigger size mouse. I prefer this one.
Plus I recently bought another one in JB HI FI couple days ago.
Logitech Warranty is Useless – I purchased 2 logitech m185 mouses on 29/10/2019 I purchased one of these mouses for my new laptop to arrive in december Between microsoft & dell computers, they advised me both mouses where faulty & now the drama starts after 20 emails going backwards & forward & proving to them the mouses where both faulty & also proof of purchase, they kept on… Read more
stalling for time & I am sure that I would go away,I threaten them going to consumers affairs & also accc but they continued After today's email (number 19) & had enough & told them in un certained words where they could go Their warranty(or maybe their pathetic staff) is not worth anything I have a copy of all emails I also told them,I would purchase new mouses(not logitech) & all of my existing logitech products I will replace with another brand My warning to all;do not purchase logitech products,or you may suffer the same as I have
The Smart Sleep Mode is dumb – The mouse itself works well enough but it goes into smart sleep mode after a few minutes. Once it goes to sleep there is no easy way to wake it up. You have to either turn it over and switch it off then on again or else hit the mouse hard several times against the table. It does not wake itself up by movement or by pushing any button. It is so infuriating. Soon I'll start waking it up by throwing it across the room. Show details
works well apart from have to plug in the old wired Logitech mouse and reboot to get rid of the blank screen – excellent in speed and accuracy since I bought it from JB HiFi a week ago. Had to replace my old wired Logitech mouse, which drops out, freeze and slow frequently. Show details
Crap – Scrolls one page at a time.....In otherwords , there is no scrolling. It just jumps to the next page... How do you dare charge money for such junk
Bought Two and neither worked – Bought one mouse and it didn't work right from the start, got a replacement and it was exactly the same. Something inside is not connecting. Thought getting a Logitech would be safe enough - all the other mice we have are Logitech, but, no.
Don't waste your money – I bought two in fairly quick succession. Both failed on the left mouse button. I won't be buying any more. The price seemed reasonable for a known brand, but not when there is a consistent flaw.
Life Expectancy - 9 Months – The previous review mirrors my experience with this product. I have purchased two of them and both worked wonderfully for about nine months. Then they started to cut out about a month before they died more and more until they finally inspired me to smash them against the bricks! I tried new batteries, but to no avail. Softly hitting them seemed to… Read more
wake them up again temporarily, then they required more modest trauma, but eventually there was no solution. I really hate products that become crap, especially so soon. I recommend purchasing a different mouse. This product is enticingly affordable, but it's not worth it.
Logitech Junk at Walmart – This is the 3rd logitech - mouse from the same Walmart Store in 8 months. Used it last night - it did not wake up this morning. Changed batteries, removed and replaced the usb plug-in ( as I did with 2 previous mouse), no response. I only bought this product again because I had no problems using Logitech products in the past. Now I am convinced - they are no good. Jim

Know better, choose better.
Cute little mouse – Reasonably priced, however starts glitching if moved more than the length of a keyboard away from the little usb plug in, which was a bit of a problem at first because I run an old screen and a keyboard off my far newer laptop at work. Had to use a keyboard that had a usb slot.
Great little mouse – This is a great little mouse. Reasonably priced and it works well, not at all glitchy like other wireless mouses are inclined to be in this price bracket. Only downside is 3 months in it has randomly stopped working a couple of times. I've found if I rearrange the battery and pull out the usb receiver and put it back in then all is fine but a bit annoying. Apart from that it still clicks cleanly, scrolls easily and fits neatly in my hand.
Compact, easy to use, effortless! – Excellent.. unlike ~other~ Logitech products (webcam!), their mouse and keyboard combos are thankfully easy to install - effortless - and I have had no hiccups with it ever. Been using over a year and this was CHEAP, easy to use, small and good. If this stops working for some reason.. I'd probably still get the same thing just because it is budget and good to use.
A mouse not to be afaid of! – This is the single best purchase I have made to date. When the keypad on my comuter went belly up, I needed an alternative to use my computer. I saw a friend with on of these mice, and I fiqured I would try it. I had little hope as I wa so used to my mouse pad on the laptop. I was wrong! This is amazing. It is so smooth in its scroling. It… Read more
works on any surface, and it lasts! The design makes it comfortable in my hand, and it is so natural to use. Best mouse I could have asked for!
Very good – I opted for a Logitech wireless mouse for my wife's laptop, after a good experience with the MK260 wireless keyboard and mouse combo. This little specimen didn't disappoint either - in fact the design has been improved upon, with the addition of an on-off switch on the mouse to conserve the battery, and the wireless USB dongle for the M185 is a… Read more
lot smaller than that of the MK260.
As with our other Logitech products, it just works. Extremely simple to setup and use, and great value at only $15.
Budget wireless mouse, very smooth to use – This is an ergonomic feeling 3 button + wheel mouse (the 3rd button is a press of the wheel!). It comes with a tiny USB dongle which can be placed in the rear of your PC, although generally these devices are more stable if they can "see" the dongle. It is smooth to use, with a positive click feel and no rough spots or sticky bits in the wheel… Read more
rotation. The mouse has a compartment for 1 AA battery, and an on/off switch.
The mouse pointer movement was predictable and controllable. I'd recommend it. Budget price but smooth feeling.
Logitech's M185 Wireless Mouse Squeaky Clean!!! – Whilst shopping at Woollies today I stumbled upon this great product, Logitech's M185 Wireless Mouse. The price got my attention @ >$18 but it's neat, ergonomic design (slightly smaller than my old standard Mac mouse) and tiny USB "nano" receiver won my heart. This is an excellent piece of practical design at a very affordable price. The… Read more
claimed life of it's single AA battery is a very generous 12 months and, of course rechargeable batteries make it cheap to run.
I plugged in the receiver, switched on the power (located underneath the mouse). While I was inspecting the mouse for an 'ON' light I noticed the pointer already moving on my screen! Amazingly simple to install and use. I'm gonna leave the receiver in place as it's so small there's zero risk of damaging it and it makes setting up even quicker!
So, recycle your old cabled mouse and get one of these. You won't be disappointed!! Inexpensive, ergonomic, "nano" receiver, practical
