Pretty good mouse – I think this mouse has been with me for at least 3-4 years now. I've always liked the scroll on this mouse. I like the infinity scroll and the button to make it a progressive / step scroll. The sticky pads underneath have worn a bit and when travelling, they got stuck on a few things unfortunately and so they aren't fully stuck to the body… Read more

anymore. But anyhow, i think the mouse function is great, it does what i need it to do, i even play a few games on the PC with the mouse and it works fine. I think the battery life could be a bit better, but i bought lots of eneloops so i think i'll be ok for the time being :) pretty happy with the mouse overall.

Not happy, Jan! – I used to have an MX Revolution mouse, which, all of the sudden, stopped working. That is (just like @Mike97 said above) it worked intermittently, but was mainly unresponsive. As that model had an internal, non replaceable battery, I concluded that the battery was dead, so gave up on it and bought one of these mice to replace it, So, it… Read more

worked for a while and now the same thing is happening to this as well! It is most peculiar, if I remove/replace the battery, it stars off being OK, but only for seconds, then it becomes impossible. For me, it never works for minutes at a time, only for seconds.

The manual says you should only charge it with the cable provided when you see a red LED. That never happened, but I charged it yesterday, anyway. Made absolutely no difference.

I did notice for the last few weeks that the AA battery needed recharging more and more often.

Today, I tried installing it on my son's laptop (my laptop already has another Logitech mouse installed and the manual says, you can only pair one mouse per computer) and it refuses to even pair.

So, this is mouse number two, with the same problem, They are obviously not built to last! You'd think they would be, given the price they ask for them!

Oh, and while I'm whinging, Then there is their website!!! it is mission impossible to find a human (or even an email address) on their website. You are just sent around in circles, being sent to downloads (yes, I updated everything!) knowledge base, etc. but no way can you actually find someone to discuss your problem with. Even before that, it insisted that I change my password. Why????

Sure, I can (and will) phone them on Monday, but why can't I write TODAY?

Not as good as earlier versions – Been through a few versions of this style of Logitech mouse, this one is a bit disappointing. Nice size for me, many mice are just to small... Scroll wheel and particularly the centre button function/click is terrible. Lack of DPI buttons is a step backward. Feels slightly cheaper and lower quality than previous. Tracking and battery life seem good so far. Middle click sucks considerably

Broken – I have chosen to present my review as a poem. I hope you find it enjoyable, comprehensive and over the 50 word requirement: Can't open tabs No middle click Can't use Blender No middle click Can't play ARMA No middle click Can't recommend No middle click Can't recommend No middle click No middle click, bad support from Logitech, ridiculously high price for what is a downgrade from the old MX1100 (which fit my hand beautifully)

Love the poem. I too find it incredibly frustrating it doesn't have the middle click!!!!!!

Good mouse with great scrolling options – I usually keep it on the fast scrolling but can switch it if you need more precision. I like the feel of the mouse when using it and the extra buttons can be useful though I dont use them that much. Need to install the logitech software to access all the features and I have found the zoom a little buggy with chrome. feel, use while charging, button options expensive

Excellent – Best mouse I've ever used!! Bought the new model M950t through eBay at $99. It does everything you want it to do and more. Fits in the hand so well and so easy to use!! Works on any surface. It's smooth, battery last really well, and so easy to charge. Logitech you have a winner here well done! The price is expensive

A quality overall package – A product with a couple of flaws but one that overcomes these with the overall package. The mouse feels sturdy while gliding across surfaces, giving a really good feel to mouse movements on screen. The application thumb button is awkward to push - you have to adjust your thumb position quite a way from its natural 'lie' to get to it (and the… Read more

function itself doesn't work at all well on dual monitors - that could be a software thing that Logitech may correct), and the middle button is effectively useless - it's almost completely unresponsive, like many other users have mentioned.

Despite that, the build quality, feel, and USB charging is excellent, plus there are some nice touches to the cables themselves. They all come in a quality zip case which is awesome for your cables while travelling, and there are even nice touches to the cables themselves, like a thumb placement on the USB cable so you can pull it out effectively without ever damaging it. There's also an extension cable for the nano receiver, just in case. Overall, a quality product that I would definitely recommend to others. Good build quality, quality accessories, quality cable case, nice mouse movement, USB charging. Middle button is effectively useless, slightly heavy and very large so could be awkward for business travellers.

Not Worth the Money – Bought this mouse at JB for $79, thought I got a good deal. Well, tell u wot guys i thought wrong, real wrong. First thing I got home I unpacked it, and it felt really weird at first. Found all the buttons pretty convenient, also that thing u could download off the Logitech website. But I've had it for a while now (a few months), found out that… Read more

the scroll tilts to the left on the top half of the circle (it's the design I'm sure) so it's sort of awkward trying to get the middle click. All the buttons felt like they were second handed and cheap, coz they were loose compared to other mouses, especially the scroll (when locked in, could be unresponsive if not pressed really lightly). The left click's actual button (not the plastic on top where u usually click) is a bit lower than the plastic on top so it makes a funny sound when I let go of it. They designed the right click button much shorter than the left click and wot, they expect u to have a couple more cm on ur index finger than ur middle finger? Another problem, they made the mouse so thin that u can either fit the right side of ur hand on the right side of the mouse, or ur thumb on the left side of the mouse. tried to fit my whole hand on and all I accomplished was a cramp. The worst defect - don't know what on Earth this "Darkfield" thing is but it is certainly unresponsive to small movements, such as when ur tweaking with ur column graph on word/stuffing around with ur volume etc. A big pain. It's probably only worth $50, a few bucks extra for the fancy buttons. Really not worth the money guys. Apparently World Leader #1 in Mice. So much to expect for a wireless mouse hey? But maybe it's just that i'm unlucky, because I've been like that all my life.

Good mouse – Use this mouse for work and personal use. Chose it because of its ergonomic shape. Has worked without any problems the six months I've used it. Works on almost any surface (e.g. have experienced that it doesn't work on Ikea micke workdesk), and the Darkfield-technology works excellent. Would reccomend this mouse. Ergonomic, quality Maybe a little bit expensive

A full featured mouse – I payed $85 for mine and i think it is very good value for money, not only do you get a fantastic mouse, you also get a long micro usb cable, usb wall charger, and one AA 1900MAh NiMH battery. The USB wall charger can charge other devices like phones, and the mouse can recharge any other NiMH battery. It can run as a wired mouse, so you dont need… Read more ·  1

to worry about batteries. The mouse has lots of buttons, 4 for the thumb. It feels good in the hand and works on any surface. The biggest issue is the Setpoint drivers that Logitech provide, they do not allow you to fully customize the buttons, but there is an independent set of drivers called uberOptions which lets you do anything you want. Another issue, personally, is that the mouse does not fit my hand as well as the old MX1100, the right hand side does not have enough height for my pinky finger and the one next to it. But with the above issues i still highly recommend this mouse. Comes with alot extras, many buttons Does not fit in hand as well as my old mx1100, Setpoint drivers

Ressurected old Mouse – Purchased initially as a MX Performance (not the 950, same mouse). I preferred my older MX1100, which was a replacement to my MX1000. Both these mice died at the hands of an abusive gamer! All great. Now, pulling out this mouse as the reserve. The main reason i discarded it was due to grip, but now it seems fine. Unifying reciever - plugged into g19 Keyboard Hard to clean

Great mouse, if only it didn't malfunction! – Have had this mouse for about 6 months. Up until now, the mouse has been perfect. Fit: Perfect for ergonomic use, and long periods of use - it's strange at first, but after a while it's so much more comfortable than none contoured mice, and smaller mice. I think it's fixed my RSI. Battery: Doesn't last too long compared to other mice, but… Read more

the battery is rechargeable with the provided USB cable so it's not too much of a drama. The recharge cable doesn't fit too well into the mouse though, so it tends to budge free sometimes when using the mouse with the cable plugged in - can be quite annoying when charging, which is about once every week or two for all day, everyday use.

Buttons and wheel: Really well designed, good placement, don't tend to click the wrong buttons by accident.

Wireless: Here's the real clincher - up until now, the mouse has been perfect in terms of wireless use, however, upon switching my computer on yesterday (and this is the reason I felt inspired to write a review) the mouse has started playing up quite a bit in respect to losing wireless connection intermittantly. Here's the thing: Nothing has happened to the mouse - I switched off the computer one day, turned it on the next, and now the mouse loses connection for a few seconds every few minutes, sometimes several times within a minute, and other times it's fine for 10 minutes with no issue - very very frustrating! Confident I've ruled out every other possibility: Battery is replaced to check that the rechargeable battery wasn't acting up, cleaned it out to make sure there is no debris intermittantly blocking the senser, re-installed the drivers, tested alternate USB ports, and I've tested using the cable to verify it actually is a wireless connection issue - it is.

If I had thrown the mouse and caused the problem I would expect something like this, but having not abused the mouse I'm now really unsatisfied with Logitech's build quality and now I need to see if I still have the receipt somewhere to try and claim a fix on warranty - I dont like my chances of finding it.

For $100 the mouse would be worth it IF it wasn't for this serious problem - for the price I expect 100% satisfaction and high-end trouble-free build quality, which is not the case for my purchase here.

Consider yourself warned and purchase at your own risk. Hand fit, Rechargeable battery with cable Malfunctional wireless connectivity

Absolutely love this mouse – I bought this mouse early last year of 2011 and I like the way you can constantly use this mouse whether wireless and even if you need to charge it; it still works. For gaming it is a real performer; but I would say for the money its good; its not the best, so far I am very happy with it. I use a Logitech G15 where I have plugged the Unifying USB attachment and works like a charm Everything Only DPI response is a little lacking

A great mouse, but it is far from perfect – This mouse is far from perfect, and and the price it is, I wouldnt recommend it. I have had to take 2 back to the shop in the last week because of a middle mouse button issue - which apparently affects a lot of this type of mouse. The middle click simply doesnt work - which for me is one of the most important reasons for owning a mouse like this.… Read more

Sorry logitech, but for me to return to you, you must make better products.

The other thing it, when you shake the mouse - it rattles like a maracca - which should not happen on a mouse of this calibre. DO NOT BUY looked great, fits hands perfects, tracks on anything expensive, does not work properly, issues

Very good mouse – Been using the Logitech M950 couple weeks now and so far it has been very good experiences. It's usable on most if not all surfaces. This one works well on my glossy table where my old Logitech M505 failed. It's lighter than the M905 because of a single AA battery which also make it last a bit shorter. The mouse come with the Eneloop battery… Read more

which known to be the best in low self-discharge battery. Battery charging is fully covered by the included USB cable and AC power plug. I also like the hyper-scrolling setup which personally better than the M905. I got it during a sale which make it cheaper than the M905. Reliable, very smooth and fast hyper-scrolling, light, ergonomic for big hand Battery last shorter than M905 due to single AA battery, not as sensitive as M905 on glossy surface but still very usable
