Logitech Squeezebox Touch

Hard to beat for the money – I use the SBT as the digital front-end of my modest hi-end system to stream computer based files and listen to internet radio. It shines in this role and cost less than the cables that I use to connect it. Since I first got the SBT I have hardly ever played a CD. It is a delight to use and has been utterly reliable. Analogue outs are surprisingly good but easily surpassed by using digital out into an external DAC. However, I suspect that you would need to spend at least twice the price of the SBT on a DAC to realize that improvement. The user interface is intuitive either via remote, the touch screen or the squeezebox server on your computer. When not in use it is the best clock that I have ever had. Whole family love it. Ease of use, a dead-set bargain, not embarrassed in a hi-end system when fed into a quality DAC, so versatile and feature laden, tweakable for better SQ, exceeds all expectations
