Logitech Z305 Computer Speakers

Fantastic – These speakers are so good. I am so annoyed that I struggled with the inbuilt speakers on my laptop for so long. The Logitech are compact, not unsightly, easy to install and efficient. I listen to music continually on my laptop and the sound is crisp and clear. With many of the DVDs I have the sound using the laptop is inconsistent. These speakers have rectified that.

Pretty good speakers=) – I had done some research before purchasing these laptop speakers. They mainly appealed to me because of their clip on feature but I had also read good reviews on them. I was not at all disappointed! They plug into usb port, deliver great sound and their clip on grip to my laptop is firm. I do not regret purchasing them. Highly recommended! Sound quality and portability They are pricey, but if you shop around then you'll probably find a good deal on them. I got them pretty cheap as I purchased them when also purchasing a new laptop and HD TV.

Great buy! – The reason for purchasing is obvious, and I am really disappointed that PC makers don't care about the quality of speakers built in the laptops, but I am glad that Dell has moved a huge move towards incorporating acoustic technology into the XPS laptops. Anyway, back to the speaker. I had two option, one was Logitech, the other one was Edifier MP250, I was really hesitated to decide which one I should buy as their functionality is very similar, so is the price. I chose Logitech because I have purchased Logitech speakers before and was really satisfied with it. And also only Logitech Z305 can be easily mounted on the laptop screen, so it does not distract me when using the laptop.

The sound quality is decent on the tiny unit, and watching movie now is a pleasure experience, it feels like sitting in cinema with surround sound.

But be aware that do not get tricked to 360 surround sound Logitech claims, you can NEVER get surround sound unless you have speakers all round you, like the setup in home theater or cinema. Great sound quality, particularly when watching a movie. Would be nice if it is wireless, I know they do have Z505. But I would like Z305 with wireless function.

Excellent sound for its size – Bought the Logitech to get better sound on a laptop with substandard speakers. Very pleased with the result. Sound output is excellent given the relative small size. Only the one USB lead is a bonus. The previous speakers I bought were 240v powered so didn't get as much use. Sound volume controls on the speakers are handy although a little hard to use as they face away from you. They should be on the top not the back of the unit.

The sound output is too load sometimes and going from built in speakers to USB speakers can be quite a difference. The usb lead is also only just long enough. A few more centimetres would be better IMO.

However the far superior sound over what the built in laptop speakers provide far outweighs these small issues. Very happy with the purchase. Portable. Great sound. Volume adjustable on speakers. On/off switch Sound can be too loud when changing from default computer speakers.

Wonderful – I brought these to replace some earlier more conventional speakers that broke. They are ideal for laptops, clipping on to the top of the screen. Tucked away like this they don't get in the way or risk being damaged. They pretty much set themselves up the first time you use them and are super easy to use from then on. Simply plug it into the USB port, wait about 15 seconds for the software to load and that's it! The sound is good and the controls are simple and easy to use. I absolutely love them. Easy to use, easy to transport, good sound, everything None so far
