Maclaren Grand Tour

Great sized pram and very robust – Steers very well and handles extend for taller users. Was a versatile pram for my big children. My daughter weighed in at 21kg and over 1 metre at 3 years of age and she would still comfortably sit in it at this age. Can lay kids down horizontal. I am also using this with my second bub now and it is still going. I love that the covers are so easy to take off and clean, including the bassinet. I just put it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle.
lovely quality pram – putting it together took a little while but once done easy to use. dvd is helpful that comes with it. i got the mclaren grand tour lite as didnt need the little extras such as lights etc. its smooth to push and easy to manouver about. i love the baby bassinette and foot muff which comes with it but havent used them as australian summers they are way to hot. the hood gives excellent shade and the vent at back of hood when unzipped is great. when folding its still big and heavy but easy to fold. i use the stroller with the seat facing me so when folding it doesnt fold well so i tend to remove seat before folding which can be a fiddle. it looks and feels good quality. my baby from 2 weeks was in it and loves it. the main things are the hood is big so gives very good shade so no extra shade needed and having my baby face me is excellent. its bigger than i thought. its easy to fold but still big might not fit into everyones car boot. its heavy so lifting it into the car maybe difficult.
very nice! Classy – very nice to push great features.. fits a larger child nicely.. very nice sunshade and great aceessories.. pedometre and lights are great ! sturdy! great for walking nice carrycot expensive big and heavy
Excellent – I really can't fault this product. It has everything you need for your baby's strolling needs. It really is very good quality. You need to see it to fully appreciate it. It is an expensive item but, this stroller would last through several children. If you are going to spend big on one item, choose this. I chose the Grand Tour as opposed to the Grand Tour LX. I found the extras on the LX model to be unecessary for my needs. Where do I begin? Very good quality product. It's very light weight yet very sturdy. It has lots of room for the child to grow. You can add and remove bits as needed e.g. the hood, handle bar. Easy to operate once you work out how it works. The soft carry cot that comes with it for when baby is new born is excellent quality! All designed to fit in easily. The boot cover would be great for cold weather as the child grows to toddler. certainly it would be snug as a bug in a rug. it's easy to turn the seat facing toward you or away from you. This product will certainly go from birth until the child no longer needs to be wheeled around. It is such good quality that it will be very useable for any babies that come after. Everything is handy and in easy reach. Shopping basket below is roomy, mosquito net and rain cover are stored in pockets on the back of the seat. I am really happy with this stroller and I think well worth the money spent ($1299). Self assembley. Instructions to put it together are not idiot proof. It took me a while to work out how to put it all together. I felt like I needed an engineering degree. Having said that, Once I did work it out, It all became very easy to operate and I felt like a complete numpty for not being able to work it out earlier.
where did you buy your maclaren grand tour from australia? i never seen it in the baby shops
I bought from a shop in the Goldcoast. I moved since then. I ordered over the phone and got it delivered. I started by net searching and ringing around shops to get the best price. I think the shop was bubs n grubs but can't be sure.
Just do a net search for Maclaren Grand Tour Australia and a list will come up with various outlets with good prices
Great investment on a great quality product – So far the experience has been smooth running with very few bumps. We used the stroller rarely in the first two months although it was easy to put the bassinette on the pram. The version we bought was tge Grand Tour or Grand Tour Lite. The main reason we bought it was because it was a Maclaren and the seat was reversible. Sturdy, easy to steer, feels lightweight while steering, accessories, lots of space for baby, seat is reversible Slightly heavier than other prams but well worth it in the long run.
