pretty good hammer drill – I bought the makita cordless hammer drill from bunnings warehouse in north wollongong and it works just fine / I drilled the roofing bolts in the fence and took them out with ease plus I dig the hammer action on it to use it if I needed it to use it to drill into bricks or concrete
Excellent – This is an excellent drill and would suit the home handyman or tradesman. Is built to the excellent Makita quality. I have had this drill for 18months and it is the best battery drill I have had. Excellent all purpose 14.4v battery drill. The 3 speed metal gearbox is excellent. The batteries last a long time. Is strong enough to handle just about anything. Comes with a 13mm chuck and not a 10mm which is a bonus. Is slightly heavy other than the weight is an excellent drill.
Excellent – Purchased this drill after my $100 GMC drill broke down and I will never go back. This drill out performs all others that I have handled (which i admit is not many). The drill fits comfortably in your hand, has lots of torque right to last bit of charge in the battery and comes with two batteries for continued use. Whether its drilling wood, metal or concrete it continues to surprise me on how efficent and effective it is. Love this drill thanks Makita keep it up. Build Quality is outstanding, two batteries, Metal gearbox. Quick charge. Can not think of any
Excellent – I have had about 6 of the cheapies over the years and finally bit the bullet and got a Makita. Why, why, why didn't I do this years ago. The battery stays charged for ages and hold full power right up until the end. Best cordless I have ever owned. Very powerful drill. Battery stays charged for months on the bench without use. Comes with a second battery that can stay in the charger without harm until needed.
The cordless is great – My husband loves his Makita cordless drill, it's practical and you can use it anywhere and the battery lasts a long time. Reliable
