Best vacuam cleaner we have. EVER EVER HAD,and we have had some – Performance great ,vacuam suction great...it is light and easy to use,the house is 100 square,we have carpet ,rugs tiles and the ,garage is of polished concrete, has a small holding capacity ,But it is really easy to empty,so handy ,make share you use a big battery, which you can use on makita tools.I bought 2 late 6 hour. battery’s and we use 1… Read more
and keep one charged and ,ready do not leave on charger, over 2or 3 hours ,and your battery’s and charger will last longer don’t expect it to have as much suction as your big 240 volters but vac your house 1once or twice a month and use the MAKITA THE REST OF THE TIMEO
Good for cleaning the car – Pros - Good suction for a tiny machine - can use battery from drill / other Makita appliance - Good battery life - Good price point - Solid build - Easy to clean out, washable (obviously not the electronics) - Double filter Cons - Does need a battery, if you don't have other Makita equipment this may be an issue as battery and charges… Read more
will be very dear
- Is never going to be your primary vacuum or a house cleaner / more of a secondary car cleaner
- Consumables are a bit expensive (air filter) but aftermarket products are available
Overall
If your needs are similar to mine, I would gladly recommend this product. Does great inside the car and for small spot cleanups, like picking up small pools of fluff.
Great Nifty Product – This is a great handheld vacuum. It is particularly handy if you have other Makita tools as the batteries are interchangeable between their products. This means I can charge it in the charger we already have. You'll need to purchase a battery charger for it if you don't already have one. The suction is fairly good, it reduces when battery power… Read more
gets low, which is to be expected I suppose. When comparing with a regular vacuum the suction is not as good, but I guess that is normal. Some larger things such as large insects and pieces of bark from around the fire it struggles to pick up. I like that you can carry the pointy attachment on the device when you are using it - makes swapping attachments easy. Can use with or without the extending bit, which I find a comfortable length for use on the floor without having to bend over. Light and comfortable in the hand with an adequate capacity for dust. Emptying is fairly easy but I find the filter a little hard to remove the fluff from. A good purchase.
Handy and powerful – The tool has double filter and is handy. The LXT battery gives a good thrust. I use it around my tool shed. Suction is good, easy to clean out chips and rubbish. The only thing is you have to own some Makita LXT cordless tool with the battery and charger otherwise will be fairly expensive to buy whole set. Powerful compare to other similar product in market expensive to include battery charger and battery only for this single tool
Powerfull handy unit – Bought this for quick cleanup of floor after meals with the grandchildren and pets, already had LXT battery and charger from cordless drill so this was a cheap solution. Powerfull gets into small areas, great for kids car seats. You need LXT battery and charger.
I'm using a man's tool to vacuum my house – I have a cordless vacuum that is useless and cost more then this Makita vacuum and doesn't do half the job. Maybe the key into easy cleaning is use a powerful tradies vacuum. I was vacuuming with my pathetic one when my husband came home and said here try this one....Brilliant. It sucks fast and is so easy to use. To clean you should twist the top… Read more
off and empty. I have just purchase one for in the house. This is the perfect vacuum if you don't want to go over the same spot 100 times. In saying that please read bellow to see what is wrong with it.... Great...makes the job of a quick vacuum easy. Battery life is short, only lasts around 20min. In saying that batteries are rechargable in saying that again batteries are very expensive...., dearer then the vacuum itself...then you would need to buy a charger. my husband had many. Also would be good if it had an extenstion handle as it is quite short.
